Unfortunately today’s meal for 3 out of 4 of us what not as good as the last time I came. My friends and I were disappointed because the rice and mashed potatoes were dry. The drink turned out sloppy. And then the main dessert was frozen that my friend couldn’t break into it and it was his grad dinner. Guess every experience will be different. Bummer.
Great food. Great service. Great variety of options. Wonderful experience!
We had a good dinner! Coconut shrimp, crab stack and paella ! They were all wonderful. We will be back!
Loved our food and drinks. The only issue was the thermostat must have been set high as it was uncomfortably warm
My friend and I came here today for her birthday. The staff were super friendly and provided good service. Food arrived fast! I had a virgin ultimate pineapple which was A+. Main entree was coconut shrimp which had some super delicious melt in your mouth rice and flavorful broccoli. And the shrimp was super crunchy. Unfortunately the calamari was not crispy whatsoever! But that didn’t ruin our day. It was a good meal and Bahama Breeze was a great place to have it!
One of my favorites places to have dinner!
Good service. Good food!
Server was very friendly but food was very not good at all. Shrimp was poorly prepared and soup (with shrimp in it) was average at best - again, shrimp was almost mushy. Bathroom was not very clean - especially the floor. I will not be visiting this restaurant again.
Steve gave us excellent service and was very personable. He was very easy going and knowledgeable without being pushy. As a former server his approach was sincere without being condescending. 😀
Good food, great service- ask for Justin- great waiter
Visited on Christmas eve at about 7PM. Restaurant was clean and properly staffed. We were seated immediately. Food came from the kitchen piping hot, and was tasty! Reasonably priced. Can't ask for more.
My husband and I love this place. The firecracker shrimp is the best appetizer ever. I had a cocktail in a pineapple! And the mahi and shrimp in lemongrass sauce was absolutely delicious.
Very tasty food, hard to enjoy with loud groups nearby.
Our fault for not asking to be moved.
We have been to Bahama Breeze several times, but this was by far our best experience!!! Our server, Justin, was one of the best waiters I’ve ever had. He was upbeat, fast on anything that needed doing, but never made you feel rushed! He was extremely attentive to every detail!! Please request his area if you go there and you will not be disappointed!!!
The place was empty and we got no service. It was awful. I understand why it was empty
Service was fast and exceptional for the time of day we went. Food was good and flavorful.
We had a great time. Went to celebrate a birthday. They sat us where it was live entertainment. Will be back.
My experience was good one of our dishes came out cold but overall we thought it was ok.
We had a very enjoyable dinner thank you very much.
We were seated right away and waited on promptly but it went mostly downhill from there. After our order was taken our waitress disappeared. Then the food came out all at once even the side salad that should have come out first. Unfortunately I was given fish I didn’t order and my daughters Mac and cheese was congealed into one big mass, probably from waiting. We were approached by the Manager and given soup and fruit while we waited which was nice. My husbands jerk chicken was very dry as well but he didn’t send it back. Our family was completely done eating by the time my and my daughter’s food came out. I’ll say the salmon was delicious for those of us that ordered it! We asked for water 3 times before we received any and our drinks sat empty throughout the meal. To conclude nothing was removed from the bill and in fact they charged us more so the bill had to be fixed. We couldn’t wait to leave which is a real shame. Not what I expect when we spend that much for food.
They have a wide selection of foods. I recommend the fresh fish and salads. Nice tropical music on weekends.
It was a birthday dinner and our server was very nice, and very informed. He went over the menu , he seemed in a bit of a rush but he was awesome. I did dislike how I asked if they did anything for birthdays and he told me a free desert and then charged me for it. And it took a long time to get food and checks . But it was ok .
Wait staff seemed to be distracted. Waited 15 minutes for water and our actual waitress, even though the place didn't seem very busy. We were there almost 40 minutes before the food arrived. Food was excellent as usual. Daughter still wants to come back in December for her birthday...hmm.
Very nice place to enjoy a special meal. I enjoyed the food and environment.
From the time our order was placed, until we rcvd it, an hour had passed. The manager came over, without being called, and apologized. She comped our appetizers, and was very courteous.
I was not happy about the wait, but she compensated with her personal intervention. She made us feel important, and valued. I/we will go back.
The service wasn’t fantastic, I was told I couldnt get a virgin drink that I’ve literally had them make several times before. There was paper/maybe cardboard in the water. It took a while to even get drinks and they all came out separately. It was a bizarre dining experience. Usually I just sit at the bar. But it was just odd and not fantastic.
We enjoy this restaurant for large family meals. Everyone can find something they like and the service is great.
Empanadas and coconut shrimp are faves. Main dishes are okay. Ahi tuna salad was good
Aside from being noisy (because they were VERY busy), service was good and there good was served quickly. It was prepared the way we like it and served hot.
We will definitely return!
Very good,I haven't been there in awhile like the new menu just miss the habanero wings which was my favorite.
Great experience! I had the special margarita, it was delicious! Dined on shrimp and lobster linguine, very good and plentiful....brought at least half home! Hubby had the Jamaica sampler and enjoyed it! Our server was efficient and friendly.
Didn’t like the food
Food was fine all deep fried and a lot less healthy than we expected. If you’re into fast food then this is a place to go.
I’ve lived in the Caribbean this was far from Caribbean food but nice try. Super heavy and not fresh.
The drinks were great and very carribeanesque.
Our waitress was fantastic and very nice.
Very nice ambiance and excellent tropical drinks !! I loved it !!
It was a bit louder than usual. But the food and the service were top notch. Always a good choice!
I reserved for 7pm and got there at 6:58pm. We got the table at 7::25 pm after they asked us if we wanted a table outside in the sun room. The left us waiting even though we had a reservation. Food was ok, not great. The drinks were really good.
The hostess at entrance did not believe our open table reservation and scrambled to find a table making us wait 20 minutes after our reservation time. The waitress was awesome but the mojito she brought tasted bad, the mint leaves were black and the other ingredients tasted old. The food was worse the steak was spoiled and tasted sour. The rice was under cooked and crunchy.
The manager comped our entire meal and asked if we wanted anything else but honestly I didn’t trust their kitchen. I liked the waitress it wasn’t her fault. I have been to another location in Chicago many times with family and love the place. This location in Michigan however seems to have some serious issues.
Paella is great. Plus they brought me a new glass of ice tea instead of just filling it up. Was nice to have fresh ice and a new lemon.
Omg my server brittany was awesome. We had the spinach dip and we had the caesar salad. For the entree we both tried the jerk chicken pasta. Everything was excellent. No complaints here. Drinks stayed full and food kept coming without waiting. Will definitely revisit. Favorite spot now.
