   A very sweet place with a warm vibe and ambience. Meals priced well but food is OK. Too much sauce on pizzas, too much seasoning and over dressed salads and steak was tough and not liked much.

   Started from waiting 30 minutes before asking the server if we could get water. Then we waited for 1 1/2 hours to get our food, by the time that our food came the tables next to us (which where seated at the same time as us) were already paying for they’re dinner. Our courses came out of order and were cold and soggy. We asked to get our things packed so we can leave, and by the time that the 250$ bill for two came, the waiter had the audacity to hound us over why we were not leaving the tip that he had expected. It was especially disappointing considering this was a valentines day dinner we had booked in advance. Would not recommend and definitely not going back here in the future.

   I went for dinner. When I booked it didn’t say they have only valentine’s special menu. Eventually what we got foods price were overpriced we ordered only main dish each person. It’s very small portion. Bill was included with tips I was almost paid for them like double tips which server didn’t mention it. Literally they didn’t care our table at all and gotta spend 140 only had one dish it doesn’t make sense at all. I do not come back there as neighbors it’s very dissatisfied

   Third time three new dishes all great. This place deserves way more recognition than it gets highly recommend for well prepared Italian food lovely atmosphere and reasonable prices by the way you can bring your own wine for a reasonable cork fee.

   This is our second time back in 2 months. We made sure not to order anything the same as last time to see if the experience is more rounded. With the exception of not particularly loving the trout everything else was top-notch grilled calamari in balsamic perfectly cooked sweet and sour sauce that went beautifully with it minestrone soup fantastic and the vegetarian penne Rose superb the other great thing is you can bring in your own wine and they charge a court fee and we brought a gorgeous bottle that we ended up sharing a little bit with the owner and it was just so much fun.. very sweet people for an intimate quiet night midweek magnificent. So between two visits they are 7 for 8.. that's a pretty impressive batting average!

    Really enjoyed our return to Baldini post pandemic. It’s a warm environment with traditional but well prepared Italian food. Generous portions and well priced. Wait staff is attentive. Would highly recommend.

    Everything was prepared very well it was quiet because it was a Tuesday night highly recommend for a simple Italian night out with very well prepared food. We had mussels to start,, (very fresh) mushroom risotto and black cod and tiramisu to finish.. reasonably priced as well!

    Quaint little restaurant with good ambience. Visited during the week and got the last table. Restaurant was packed by 8 pm. One waiter serving the tables. We had 1/2 dozen oysters, an order of garlic bread, glass of house wine, top sirloin steak entree and spaghetti bolognese. Oysters and Bolognese were very good, highly recommend the Bolognese. Would not order the garlic bread again as they used 'Costco like' square focaccia bread with garlic butter spread. Their house bread was better. We ordered the top sirloin medium rare. Could not bite through it. My partner spoke to the waiter, waiter said he'd bring a new plate, a few minutes later chef came out with the same plate, said that this is top sirloin, he can cook it more but it will be the same if we gave you another piece. We promptly replied, we'll take it go and shortly thereafter asked for the bill, paid and left.... Needless to say we won't be going back anytime soon. ☹️

    Strangely the 4 of us were the only diners that evening, a Wednesday,strange. I had a very dry, very good vodka martini to start. Others stayed with wine. As appetizers the grilled calamari and the garlic shrimp were very good as were the pasta dishes and chicken supreme but the spaghetti carbonara was not up to my expectations. More garlic and bacon definitely needed with a creamier sauce . Not my favourite. But everyone left happy if somewhat puzzled over the lack of customers that night.

    A popular local spot amongst baby restaurants along this Leslieville strip . Very pleasant and attentive waiter and food was delicious , well prepared if not overly imaginative . Patio on the street fun on a calm warm evening

    Enjoyed a wonderful Mother’s Day meal. The server was exceptional, attentive and the food was exquisite! Highly recommend the grilled calamari which is sublime. Hands down, one of the best neighbourhood restaurants in the east end.

    Our server was really great and the food overall was good. We were just one of two tables at 7:30pm on a Friday night. Clearly hasn’t recovered from the pandemic just yet. I hope it’s able to.

    The food was really plain in terms of flavour, it felt like barilla pasta + a store-bought sauce. The waiter was nice, and the music was really low so we could hear each other well. They did not change table cloths nor sanitized between guests.

    Amazing service fro Patrick and great food. We come here very often for dinner and our favourite is the Rappini. The Tiramisu is to die for! I love the Tartuffo too. All the pasta are good!!

    This was my first visit, of what will, hopefully, be many! The service was excellent, the staff was friendly and attentive; they provided helpful suggestions about the menu. All Covid protocols were followed and we felt very comfortable. The food was delish and the portions were generous. There were lots of offerings on the menu, we chose pasta dishes and were delighted with the quality of the food! Patrick was one of our servers and he was a consummate professional! I am so grateful that local businesses are hanging in while we migrate through Covid, thank you Baldini 😊

    Review would have been better HOWEVER, food took a very long time. We were a group of 10, so expected a bit of a wait, but 3 course dinner took 3 hrs. Appetizers took 45 minutes (mainly salad) and mains another hour. Service was friendly and attended to water glasses which is good, but throughout the excessively long wait times, there was no communication of a delay and no offering of bread until we asked during our mains. To add insult to injury was an after tax autograt of 20%. If you’re billing above market on your tip, it better be exceptional. Overall it seemed like an unfortunate case of the server knowing they didn’t have to work for their tip. All in all the food was good and they got everything right. On the fence if I’d go back. I certainly wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re more than 4 people.

    We arrived on time for our Valentines Day reservation - behind four other couples with reservations at the same time. Restaurant was either understaffed or unprepared. There were no tables available, no one to greet us, and when I found a server he said we would have to wait until a table was available. 25 minutes later, we were seated. No one offered us a drink - not even water. Throughout the evening, we had to ask for everything. The main course came before we were finished with appetizers. My partner ordered Lobster Papardelle and was served over-salted Lobster with Fettucine. I ordered duck breast - was not asked how I wanted it - and it arrived well-done and dry. Supposedly this restaurant has been around for 17 years .... not sure how that could be possible!

    We were fortunate to get a table on Valentine’s Day. Since we were going to a performance we ordered a few small plates to share. We appreciated the pleasant way we were treated in spite of not ordering the full special for the evening. Service was quick and friendly. Food was delicious and generous.
