This is Bangkok Station.
* Come and see for yourself.
The service was sort of disappointing. I mentioned in the reservation that I was celebrating my wife’s birthday and there wasn’t any acknowledgment from the staff or manager. She ordered the Sea Bass Ginger and was rubbery. My wife wasn’t pleased at all. Waited an additional 20mins for the remake. At this point the night was ruined. I had to ask the manager to adjust the check, I mean that should’ve been logical. Today Bangkok didn’t deliver there best for us like before.
Great food; great drinks; great service. A bit pricey but worth it.
A hidden gem in Buckhead. Passed by this place multiple times and never gave it a 2nd thought until the pictures/reviews popped up on OpenTable. Figured it was close by, try it out on a rainy Sunday. Loved it. Food and service were great. Will definitely be back.
We chose Bankok Station because we were entertaining out of town guests who love Thai. We don't normally eat Thai so my wife relied on the online reviews to find a restaurant. The evening turned out great! Our guests loved it, we loved it (in spite of not really being Thai enthusiasts), everything was lovely! And there is a parking deck adjacent where you can park for free - a nice touch for this area!
excellent food, service was great. pricier than your typical strip-mall thai spot but definitely a good place for date night or an occasion
great food, beautiful presentation, beautiful setting. The food arrived hot and the service was great
Great dinner and ambience
Sooooooooooooooo good! Great service! Will be back!!
My dinner club dined here on 1/26/19....Excellent food, drinks, customer service and atmosphere! Plenty of parking so easy access to the facility. I will definitely return!! Thank you for a great experience!
Yes! The food and the atmosphere was great! I do not recommend getting the chicken curry puff appetizers (can't recall what they are called). They looked really cute, but I don't think that they were worth the price or that amazing. They were a little burned. The pad thai and the curry was really good though. Definitely worth getting the main courses, but stay away from the appetizers.
This is a lovely neighborhood gem. The people are nice but the food is excellent. Get apps and any of the curries. I’d also try the “unusual negroni”. Really unique.
The drunken noodle was AMAZING. The restaurant was beautiful and the staff was extremely helpful. The chef uses gluten free soy sauce which was great to hear!
The perfect place for any special occasion.
A pleasant surprise. Friendly and welcoming reception and wait staff. Interesting and appealing menu. Every dish was DELICIOUS!!! Spring rolls were crunchy and not greasy. Basil rolls had a light citrus cucumber sauce. Lamb chops with Shrimp Outstanding!!! Massamann curry with chicken very nice!
We will return!!!
Great food and service! Went with my wife on date night and we are definitely coming back!
Great Thai food, reasonable prices, nice portion sizes. Will be back!
Attractive restaurant. Charming decorations on the entrance. Excellence and prompt service. Tasty dishes.
Great food, great service. Will be coming back.
The food was delicious!
Had dinner with my family. The food was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their meal.
After our last trip, we had resolved not to come back, BUT then owner called me and encouraged us to give Bangkok Station another go. I appreciated the call so much that we came in a couple weeks later.
We came in on a rainy night and I was reminded how much I like the build out of this space. It is beautifully done and there is a nice long bar. If you enjoy a negroni, then give their version a go. I promise it is unique and tasty.
We are fairly programmatic and get the larb gai (chicken) which is excellent and served more as a warm salad than a cold that many do. Also, the thoomb thoomb, which are basically meat-stuffed beggar purses, which are delicious.
For noodle dishes I would recommend the drunken man noodles. These are like basil noodles at many Thai places but this version has wider noodles and the sauce is well absorbed by the noodles.
They also have a dish which I can't recall the name but is basically a ground steak with a savory sauce and a fried egg. This is so flavor filled; it just explodes!! Be sure to break the egg and stir around.
Service is almost always friendly and attentive. We have been here almost 30 times and most of the staff recognize us and are super nice.
Great service and the food was really good
My previous review was five stars. This time it's just one star because we walked out without ordering. We showed up for our reservation and the guy told us we had to wait. Ok. After ten minutes he took us to a table that had been open the whole time. Then he sits another four top after us. He then proceeds to get drinks for that table leaving us just sitting there. Then ten minutes later of just sitting at the table, the same guy comes over and starts to pour us water. I confronted the waiter with this fact and he said he didn't know...BUT he sat both of us. I told him that wasn't right, and he said "then leave". So we did.
I go to this restaurant all the time. This is the first time I've had this waiter and it's the last. If this guy ever waits on my again, I'm leaving.
Dear management. Look at your Open Table and Seated for my name and frequency (My Yelp Check In is 28 times!!). You had a really bad management issue and service issue on Sunday, November 4 @ 6:30 PM. I pointed the waiter in question out to the floor manager at the time, who made a feeble apology. The waiter in question is a young, very short haired guy about 5'9"-10". Very quiet.
(I’m writing this review for a different date since the manager deleted my reservation out of OpenTable)
Awesome food and ambience but could improve on the service side. I will return again.
My wife and I ate at Bangkok station Friday night. We live two hours from Atlanta and we’re flying out of Atlanta the next day and specifically stop there to eat. It is without a doubt some of the best Thai food we have ever had. I also had an old-fashioned which was absolutely wonderful. We’ll go there every time we Make it down to Atlanta
The server was rude and we had to find her to order. That also added gratuity for a table of 5 and tried to charge an additional cake cutting fee.
Based on the server I would not come back to this restaurant.
Food was very good, good service
Service was horrible, it seemed to be very under staffed but the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. We waited 5 minutes before a hostess walked up to ask if we needed a table(had reservations). And our server was the worst he walked around the restaurant all night but never made eye contact and only stopped by our table 3 times! He was horrible I couldn’t even order another drink because he never came back by.
Excellent service and thebflavors pop in your mouth. Really enjoyed the ambiance and decor of the restaurant. I will be back to try other dishes.
They had live music .way to loud and to much bass.could not have a normal conversation.every thing else was great.maybe play background thai music
Great service and food presentation. Everyone enjoyed the atmosphere and conversation.
Nice open atmosphere, good fusion Thai cuisine selection, friendly attentive staff, easy free parking in the lot next door. We'll be back.
Food was good-service was okay-a littl loud-very nice inside— parking was somewhat confusing-you park. Ext door in the hotel garage.
We’ll be going back...
This has become our go to Thai restaurant in Atlanta. We are still exploring, but their flavor tops the competition we've tried so far. And, we love Little Saigon on Chesire Bridge by the way.
It was exactly what I was looking for. Quick good
My husband‘s food was too hot. He said he would never go there again.
Great food and nice restaurant. Celebrated son's 20th birthday. Excellent service!!
I'm brought 20 people with me my checks range anywhere from 50 to 150.
