   This is our absolute favourite Iranian restaurant in Toronto. The food is always delicious and melts in your mouth, amazing appetizers and kebabs with great selection of cocktails! The staff are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. Thank you BANU!

   We really enjoyed our lunch at Banu. Our host was particularly good: advising on dishes to share and ensuring the dessert did not contain an allergen (he called the bakery!). We will return.

   The host greeted us and treated us as if it was our own personal restaurant. Service was terrific the food delicious, and it suited our needs perfectly for a wonderful reunion.

   Such good food and good service at Banu. Our party of 4, including a teenager, raved about the quality of the dishes. We all agreed that if we were living in Toronto we'd be eating here at least once a week.

   This is a deeply cool restaurant. The food is very good- not predictably good, but genuinely good. Do not walk in expecting Banu to replicate the menu tropes of other dining establishments. They have a fresh menu, unexpected ingredients, and sensibly sized proportions (not precious at all). Great atmosphere and thankfully the noise level is low. I could hear my dining companions without having to lip-read.

   We had a wonderful dinner. The host knows how to look after her clients. We were pampered and the food was exquisite. I keep coming back to this restaurant and I have never been disappointed. There is a touch of humour in the decor and the menu that is not too miss :-)

    Tried Persian food for the first time and it did not disappoint. The portions were generous and everything was well spiced but not too salty. The servers were very friendly and helpful for newbies like us. A wonderful place to try new foods!

    Went for winterlicious and I loved the dining experience. The decor of the place is amazing and the service was great! The food was on par with other Persian restaurants but we appreciate the server giving us suggestions on what to get.

    Starters and mains were all delicious; perhaps less salt needed on the Gormeh Sabzi and lentil salad but both were still great. Portions were good sized we all left very full. The only thing that made it 4 vs 5 stars is the waitress never brought my cocktail. I didn't bother reminding her as we had eaten quite a bit before I realized she forgot and it wasn't just that she was occupied with other things. We weren't charged for it so she must have forgot I ordered it at all.

    I was there last before the pandemic and truly this place has maintained its standards and food quality. It’s a great place with fresh food made out of simple ingredients, but elevated. The service was great, very happy to be back. Thanks you for an incredible experience!

    Wonderful and friendly staff. High quality food. Great Appetizers like Beet salad, roasted eggplant , yogurt and cucumber. The main dish rack of lamb with pomegranate and walnut is the best rack of lamb ever. Other dishes like pomegranate beef tenderloin and Cornish chicken are wonderful.     This was my introduction to Persian food and I was not disappointed. Staff were very welcoming and helpful explaining menu items. The food was perfectly cooked, very tasty and served in a timely fashion. The cocktails were just too good to refuse a second round. I will certainly return soon.

    We went to Banu for the Summerlicious lunch menu and the food was delicious amd genrous postions. The olive appetizer was out of this world yummy! We sat on the street patio which is a great place to people watch and admire all the passing puppers. A good time was had.
