   Staff are knowable, friendly and efficient. The chef wasn't happy with the way our scallop appetizer came out, so decided to redo it, buy sent us a shrimp cocktail while we waited. We shared the Snack River Ribeye Cap. Tender and delicious. Can't wait to go back to this well run restaurant.

   This was our first visit to Barclay Prime, and we will definitely be returning! The food was amazing, the waiter was so personable and knowledgeable. We are so excited that we found Barclay Prime, and we can't wait to return.

   Jackson was the best waiter and was so knowledgeable. He anticipated our needs and made it a great experience. We even got a happy anniversary dessert which was so nice. It was the best steak I think I have eaten! If I am in Philadelphia again I would definitely return. I live in Pittsburgh.

    Not the best steakhouse in philly. Butcher and singer, Steak 48 and ocean prime are better experiences. Bread is the best part. Dover sole extremely salty, dish has gone downhill. Filet was good, not amazing Drinks, meh Excellent service

    Loved the place, but they didn’t pack all of our leftovers. they forgot the potatoes gratin which of course were expensive (and we had a lot leftover). Went today to reheat leftovers and they were completely missing from the bag.

    It was my first time at Barclay Prime, I took my boyfriend to celebrate his birthday. The service was great, the food was excellent. Definitely will be returning we loved the experience. If you are looking for an excellent steak house look no further.

    The food was divine and the service was fantastic. Our server Marl did an amazing job and the whole team made sure our glasses and plates never went empty. Truly a wonderful place to bring friends and loved ones on special occasions. Just be prepared to drop some cash at the end. You get what you pay for and at Barclay Prime you get top notch food and service.

    Impeccable. Our server Matt was everything! From knowledgeable to personable. Great dinner with amazing cocktails. We started with the famous Barclay prime cheesesteak. It’s a must have! Then we had the snow aged a5 Japanese’s wagyu and it was nothing short of amazing! It was cooked to perfection and just mouthwatering. I couldn’t be more satisfied. We paired it with the truffle whipped mashed potatoes. Then we tried the raspberry rhubard cheesecake for our dessert and it was the perfect ending to our delicious dinner.

    I have eaten here many many times and this was the first sub par experience - we politely asked if a mocktail could be made for my 13 year and the reply was ONLY a virgin mojito even though on every other occasion creative drinks were always offered. We ordered 2 steaks, medium and both came out deep red and even blue on the inside. Asked if my daughters could go back to the kitchen and cooked to medium - was brought back nearly the same - we decided to pack up our leftovers and re-cook the steaks at home - $270 for a rather poor excuse of a meal

    Intimate and cool venue. A little dark and a little loud depending on the crowd around you. Mix of tables and couch seating. Excellent food and pricing is as expected for the quality.

    Our waiter forgot about us a couple times as well as we were put in the room in the front. I asked if we can sit in the back and I was told no that I chose this room when I was doing my OpenTable reservation. I looked on OpenTable, and I noticed that there is nothing that states that I asked for the front room. for the amount that you pay you just want a good dining experience and unfortunately we did not have that.

    Matthew was personable while being the consummate professional. Our sitter fell through and we had to drive all the way back to Princeton after dinner instead of staying at our hotel overnight. It also meant we had to skip dessert. But, they brought us a quick dessert bite and Matthew still made our time feel luxurious. Food was stellar and ambience was perfect, of course. We came last year and our server from that visit, Melissa, came over to say hi as well. Wish we could come more often. We would love to be a regular here. Great place, good folks.
