Our group of 5 friends had an excellent meal on a Friday evening. From the attentive service to the delicious appetizers to amazing main course, everything was prepared to our liking and served at the appropriate temperature. Delicious shrimp cocktail and salad and amazing steaks and salmon made our evening a special treat. We will definitely go again when the opportunity arises.

Overall a decent lunchtime meal. My steak was cooked to measure. Appetizer escargot was tasty.

Handy location for us near Union Station off Front, nice small scale place, definitely quiet. However rock lobster tails were overdone first round. They did accommodate us and provided replacements but really should have hit it on the first try if they aspire to the price point they have. Their signature rib steak was ok but probably not at the $70 steak level. It varied from rare to medium rare to medium (and not correlating to the bone location). Wasn’t absolutely convinced it was even aged beef. Wife liked the filet but I thought it tasted a bit weird to me.. Nice overall evening, and certainly not a disaster, but we’re probably spoiled having recently been to Keens in NYC..

Went for an anniversary dinner with family. Wonderful and quiet restaurant with prompt staff and impressive wine list. The steaks, medium-rare, were perfect and are consistently the best I've ever had. I cannot endorse the quality of the steaks enough.

We had an early dinner and the venue had lots of empty tables. The waiter seated us immediately. Service was friendly. Food was delicious. My only complaint was the server brought out our meal before we had finished our salad. We felt rushed. The venue was almost empty; I didn't see a reason to rush us. The server had already asked if we were going to a game or had to be anywhere when we first sat down.

Unfortunately, the memory that stays with me is feeling rushed.

Been a long time since last visit but so glad we came ...
Service attentive but not overbearing . Seafood chowder velvety smooth . Salmon cooked to perfection .. Surf and turf artfully presented and delicious ..
Sadly no room to try any of the dessert selection, next time ..

Bardi's is a good spot for a business lunch or dinner. Ambiance is good, quiet and the service attentive. The food is good but over priced relative to other Toronto restaurants offering a similar menu.

Old school steakhouse with very dated decor and traditional steakhouse fare. Not a memorable experience. Dinner for 2 including a bottle of wine ($90) was close to $500 all in. Caesar salad was below average as was the organic green salad. Veggies were fresh and not over cooked which was better than expected given the salad experience. Steak (filet mignon) was highly tenderized but cooked as ordered. Cheesecake was a typical kind - probably frozen.

My wife and I decided reviewed the menu and location to have dinner prior to the Leafs game. We were both looking forward to some seafood, mainly the lobster on the menu. Once we ordered drinks and went to place our order we were advised they don't serve any lobster on nights the Leafs are playing. No where does it state this on their website, nor can I comprehend the reasoning for this.

I had some scallops instead, they were ok, but nothing special. Service was adequate.

I personally would not return.

It was my brothers 50th. I wanted to treat him to a nice steak dinner before a hockey game.
Turned out it was an awesome steak dinner... and I don't use the word awesome!

The staff was amazing! They were very friendly. The only thing I didn’t like was our waiter never came to ask how our main meal was. After taking a bite of my lobster I realized it was rubbery and dry... was not happy at all with it. Also my brothers lobster was the same. The rest of the meal was fantastic! Was it worth $95.00? I don’t think so.

My suggestion is if you go there don’t get the surf and turf just get the steak.

Very disappointed sad to say. Looked like a classic and I have heard some good things but the steaks were overdone and there was not much thought given to service at all once the food came out...in fact, the waiter didn't even stick around to grab the chit from the debit machine.

Location is great before a game but way overpriced. I don't mind paying at all, but the value and the food was lousy. Heading back to Mortons next time.
