Loved our food, server and everyone across the board. Food was great, ambiance great!!
Great experience from the moment we walked in the door! We were greeted with a very positive and welcoming host, Led Zeppelin playing in the background, awesome brunch options, great service and overall wonderful experience. We’ll be back for sure!
We had a reservation on Jan 3rd for 7pm. They ran out of oysters, but the oyster special only started at 5pm. We went to Pearl Diver and they had their oysterlicious special and they had oysters all night. Was disappointed as we came from out of town for the reservations.
Had an amazing time. Great oysters, great beer, and fun ping pong table! A nice touch. Only problem would be that they only had 44 oysters and we came at 6:30PM. We wanted to order more but could not... Sad because it was $1 oyster Wednesdays.
Friendly service, but slow and food was below average quality for the price point in this neighbourhood. Won’t be back unless it’s for a quick drink.
Great beers, fantastic food & perfect service. We had a wonderful evening!
My brisket hash turned out to be corned beef hash but it did taste good. Tried the IPA and it was tasty.
Really nice brunch. Pancakes were amazing. Loved the curried cauliflower too! Attentive service and a good value.
The pork belly on a bun was inedible - could not chew pieces they were so tough.
Horrible food, and terrible service ! I was very disappointed and it was Monday ... how hard can it be to get lunch right on a Monday ?! I was with a client and we waited over 1 hour for 2 salads !!
We had booked a party of 6 for my husbands birthday at 8:15pm Sunday nite.
The same day at 6:15pm we received a call to cancel our reservation.
There was a prior function booked by the restaurant!!!!!
In return after numerous phones calls to the restaurant we received a WHOLE 50$ gift card....
In cancelling on reservation you would think they would of send at least 100$ just to cover a dinner for 2!
Ridiculous and disappointed in the managers action!
Incompetent comes to mind !
Enormous space with several rooms, and an entertainment area (ping pong!) in the basement to meet several needs. Whether it is a pint at the bar, or a group lunch in a bright area, Batch has a space for everyone. My service was friendly and fast despite the lunch rush, and the curry cauliflower salad is to die for.
A bit pricier given the neighbourhood, but the lovely venue and food is worth the few extra bucks.
Our server was just great. The service was prompt but never felt hurried. This is a great place but the noise level is off the charts. Any conversation was difficult.
Oysters ran out but they came through with an emergency order. Successfully resurrecting our $1 a shuck oyster hopes! Well done guys.
Food was delicious. The dill pickle wings rocked ! The service was incredibly slow and disappointing
I have rated Batch on TripAdvisor previously. We have always had a good experience there. The food is tasty, well presented and it's good value. However, during this past visit, there was an event in the "bar" side and we were seated in the south section. That was good, but there was a lot of spillover noise. It would have been good to know there was an event - as we had brought others with us based on our recommendation. One of our group wanted to roast dinner - the waiter said it was a round roast - but then some time later came back from the kitchen to say the beef had been substituted for pork belly. While that's a popular cut these days - it's not a Roast kind of offering - at least in my opinion. And it was only about 7:30 - so if there had been roast - it ran out very quickly. So, we opted for the burger, which was quite charred and not as good as it has been. The lamb burger and roast turkey sandwich were both good - and as they have been in the past. The fourth member of our group ordered the gnocchi. It's hard to say exactly what the issue was, but it wasn't "good". I ordered the gin and tonic - it came pre-mixed and I think the tonic was flat - it also didn't taste very "ginny" - maybe I got soda by mistake? Please understand this is meant to be constructive feedback - I am not slamming Batch in any way. We fully intend to come back - this was just the first "off" experience we have had and the event may have been the cause.
I have gone to BATCH dozens of times and the food has always been good. This time, 3 of the 4 mains served were bad. The cobb salad was very bad. The bacon was "off" - dark colour/looked like it was leftovers from weeks prior. Blue cheese on the salad had the rind on it....all pieces did...again looked like leftovers. Pickled eggs were too bitter......not the typical pickling. The fried chicken sandwich was also very off putting. So sad....as this was a really good place for lunch.
Awesome! Sat at the bar and they were great!
Once again, a great night at Batch. Service, food, and ambiance was excellent.
fresh malpeque for a dollar each, I ate two dozens of that by my own. Most fresh Malpeque I have ever ate in Toronto with this unbeatable price. Burger is right supriseing.love this price
Great deep fried pickles and I believe my guest enjoyed the fried chicken sandwich. I would come back here for appetizers and the pickles but this is the second time I've had lunch here and had a salad (two different salads) and both times the salads were not very good. This time I had the Cobb, the blue cheese was dried out clumps and the rest of the salad was tasteless.
I appreciate being seated at the south side as the noise level was quieter.
Totally blew us away! Great service, delicious food and awesome portion sizes! My colleague said "This is the best burger I've ever had" which was awesome and my salad was filling and delicious. You've won a regular customer. Reservations recommended at lunch - Great job!
Went on a Tuesday night for dinner, good food, good beer, good time. Would dinner again
The food was excellent. Much better than I expected honestly. The service was very friendly and organized.
We had a great time. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The food was delicious, the main disappointment was the Welsh Rarebit. The rarebit was ok, but in all fairness, something I’d leave off the menu entirely.
We’ll be back.
Great all round - food, service, music and design. Entrees and starters were great and plenty flavorful but the Caesar salad was a bit bland and watch out for the marshmallows on the “s’mores” dessert.....needs more work to get that open fire roasted effect.
Good food, good beer, good service, LOUD, LOUD,LOUD
I would go back for the burger. Kale salad was dressed well. Fish sticks I would not recommend. Service definitely needs improvement, our burgers came out before our appetizers.
PRO: Overall, Good food and good atmosphere.
CON: Waited a while before any staff came to greet and seat me. Didn't appear to be very busy at the time.
We visited the place at around noon. The place is spacious. Liked the concept of the store light natural colours. Great place to chill. Awesome food and staff 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Hair in my food
We stopped at McDonald’s on the way back to the office, but the beer was good!
Not sure what they used to season the roast chicken on my Cobb salad but it was amazing!!
Food was ok, but not good value for the money. This is probably my first and last visit to this place.
Menu and quality of food dramatically improved since our last visit. Beer and service were great, as usual.
Loved our meal and our server. Got chicken wings, burger, chicken sandwich and lemon curd- all delicious! Would definitely return!
Delicious casual dinner. Everyone enjoyed their meals from the deep fried pickles to the Caesar salad with a nice bit to the fish and chips. And of course the local and on-ire brewed beer was quite tasty.
We waited for about an hour for our food after ordering (they had some sort of issue in the kitchen). After all of that, there was no compensation for the wait on our bill. Quite disappointing.
Though primarily a business meal location since it’s in the financial district, it’s a great place for weekend brunch. It wasn’t crowded. so great service...but the food is excellent.
