This was our second time dining at Bazin's . The Thanksgiving menu was excellent and a good value.
Had Traditional Thanksgiving Dinner. Very nice presentation and service.
Food was delicious, ambience was upscale but not stuffy, cocktails were delightful and wait staff was extremely gracious. Will definitely be back, and thank you for helping us enjoy a holiday meal.
Put celebrating Birthday on reservation and told server about event and NOBODY did ANYTHING to celebrate the special occasion. Ver disappointed and will not be going back. Do not waste your time if you are celebrating something special!!!!
As always, the food was wonderful - and it was so nice to see both Julie and Patrick as well as all the staff who feel like family. Happy Thanksgiving!
The oysters appetizer is still superb, as was the lamb shank main course. For those of us with hearing aids, the noise level of a full house was challenging.
Never disapointed at the great food. The Sea Bass was exceptional
Never disappoints! All of the appetizers were very delicious. The Branzino is my go to. Everyone in our family had a great time. The service was outstanding.
Chilean Sea Bass was amazing. Took my Dad for his birthday with my Mom and Sister. Whole experience was amazing!
This was my husband’s choice for his birthday celebration. We have always had great food here, and last night didn’t disappoint. One of my all-time favorites is the chopped salad. Absolutely love it — could eat it every day! He had the beet salad which was a real treat (since he doesn’t get it at home! Haha.). The veal milanese and the rigatoni were delicious entrees, and we enjoyed sharing the apple crostata. Our waiter was terrific (Eric).
Our dinner was outstanding. The service was impeccable. The atmosphere was charming. It was the perfect place to celebrate our 30th anniversary.
Best restaurant experience we have had in a long time. Everything was perfect from table selection to wine selection and the entrees and desserts were delicious. Service perfect as well. A little more expensive than other places but worth it!
Everything was and always is spectacular last night. We love the new fall menu. My pork chop was out of this world great!
Food was okay, expected more flavor. It came out really fast, like 5 min after we ordered which had me thinking it was all pre-made in the back. Ambiance is wonderful and service is good.
Nice dinner at Bazin’s. Good crowd for a Tuesday night. Had the Parmesan Veal dish. Good but not great.
My guests and I were immediately seated when arriving for our reservation. The restaurant seemed busy for a Tuesday evening. Waiter was prompt, but not too intrusive in getting refreshment order, and very helpful in providing recommendations for appetizers, entrees and desserts. My shrimp wrap, halibut and key lime pie were delicious. My guests enjoyed their fried oysters, sea bass, flat iron beef, apple crisp and pumpkin cheesecake. By 7:30 the noise level in the restaurant was so energetic that we could not carry on a conversation. The number of patrons, good for business, was somewhat disconcerting for COVID-19 spread and noise level. As a senior citizen with some health concerns, I will patronize restaurants with better social distancing while the risk of COVID-19 remains significant.
Everything was really very fine... especially the food! Will definitely be going back.
Noise level was much too loud. Energic is too kind of a description. Other than that, it was a very nice evening.
Our server, Jeremy, was knowledgable and helpful in all aspects of the menu from appetizer to wine and an absolute pleasure to spend the evening with. Everything was delicious.
Food and service was great, but there really need to be more heaters when it's cold!
We had dinner outside on their patio. Food was great and they were very accommodating as to setting up heaters for us. Service was great also. Very well thought out outdoor option. We all enjoyed ourselves.
The food was very good. The only problem now is parking. Since the Pandemic, parking in the area has become limited and the outside space taken by the restaurant has added to the lack of parking. Understandable but still frustrating.
Wonderful food and service! Way too crowded inside.
We were late for our reservation so the waitress seated us next door at "Bazin's Next Door", which is literally next door. There was one other couple there. The place was quiet which I really liked. I was concerned service would be poor. I was wrong our waiter was super attentive. All was well. Food most tasty! Large portions and delicious dessert! Will go back soon!
tables were closer than expected and we had particularly noisy immediate neighbors. a 'noisy' rating may be labeled energetic - but it is also very objectionable if you are at an adjacent table and trying to have a pleasant conversation and enjoyable dinner.Yes - it is Halloween but shrieking and cackling and trying to out talk your immediate table mates is rude and inconsiderate on their part.
Of course I don't know how you can deal with this but just wanted to get it off my chest. we did scout the room and it looks like we should request tables 74/75 the next time.
Our Waiter, Dave, was fantastic! He worked with the Chef to determine the best wine to pair with our meal. The crispy oysters just melt in your mouth with the creamed spinach, and the Sea Bass is always a hit! We also had their fall dish of butternut squash risotto with garlic shrimp which was amazing. The salted caramel tart was a complete surprise just a very special evening as always!!
Another great meal at Bazins. I had the pesto-rubbed halibut (wonderful) and my bride the veal Milanese (also wonderful). The shrimp wrap appetizer is also great as is the grilled romaine. Excellent selection of wines by the glass.
We were outside where tables are very nicely spaced and heaters were available. Bazin's is our favorite in Vienna.
All of the dishes were excellent. The mushroom soup as well as the crab spring roll appetizers were delicious. The thai/curry chicken was moist and excellent as were the beef sliders. Cant wait to go back!
Dependable and solid menu, always delivers. Innovative specials at times. Overall, delicious.
All appetizers and main dishes were excellent. Patio seating was very enjoyable.
Bazin’s was great!!! We had an amazing meal and enjoyed the space very much. Can’t wait to go again!
All was good. Crispy oysters were fantastic as was the short rib. Others loved the halibut and the bronzino.
The food was amazing. The drink as well; I had the tequila pomegranate drink - delicious!
The food was very good. We particularly liked the burrata salad and the sea bass (the creamy sauce with the sea bass seemed a bit over the top, but the fish itself was very good).
We chose this restaurant because they offer reservations for outside seating. The ambiance in the backyard was nice but they held a 50-person rehearsal dinner in the same space, and our table was less than 10 feet away from the party. Very awkward and annoying. Showed little care for outside diners. Menu was interesting, with a mix of different and familiar. Some entrees in our order were well prepared and tasty. Our flat iron steaks were served rare, when we ordered medium. And the blue cheese on top was a little too strong and did not complement the meat at all. The quaint location, warm ambiance, and interesting menu give this restaurant a lot of potential, but it missed the mark a little bit in execution during our visit.
Very good food, well prepared. Service was excellent and friendly.
Bazin's provides consistently high quality, delicious food that is beautifully presented. The wait staff is incredibly in tune with your table, and they know when you need privacy and when you need their attention. I highly recommend this wonderful gem of a restaurant!!
I had not been to Bazin’s since Feb 2020 and was excited to go back. I am hoping it was just a bad night but the food, service and experience was not what I was used to. The food was okay not at all like before and the portions were definitely smaller which was disappointing. I will give it one more try because I really enjoyed this spot in the past.
Enjoyed the outdoor seating … nearby children raised the noise level but indoors at Bazin’s has always been very noisy so it wasn’t a problem. Plan to return to the outdoor venue before it’s too cold. Gazpacho with shrimp = excellent! One diner’s crab meat spring roll appetizer was also excellent. Another diner’s pork chop entree was so-so, but that’s typical of pork chop (what was I thinking?) Disappointed that no bread is available, maybe it will return later. Hoping Bazin’s lunch service also returns later when staffing improves. We live in Vienna and endorse Bazin’s!
