Have been to a couple of locations in Ann Arbor and Royal Oak in the past. So, we had an idea what to expect. This definitely fell below those expectations, which were fairly low to begin with.

No spoons or crackers by soup when we arrived. So, our kids were really hungry, but had to wait for spoons to eat their soup. They were out of apple juice. They had yoohoo on the menu, but most of it was spoiled she said, luckily they said they found a case that wasn't expired.

Raw food buffet area where you load up your bowl is cramped. Constantly bumping into other customers and waitstaff. Line to get food cooked was around the corner and ran into the buffet area. 20 minute wait in line to get to grill. Waiting in line this long while holding a bowl isn't fun. Also, we had to carry little kids' bowls. Trays to help out would be great. Even better would be a system to put your bowl down and label it as yours (number system or something). Then maybe you can sit down and get called up when it is about to cook. Would make for a superior experience.

No planning to return.

Would have been better if all the protein options were available. Was there for my daughters birthday, she loves scallops and none were to be found, tag was present but none to be seen

This restaurant was absolutely filthy and the waitress was non-existent. We had reservations, so one would think that they would have a table of 11 set up with silverware and menus. We waiting 30 minutes for silverware. The preparation areas were disgusting, and the salad plates were not even clean. Could not make a salad on a dirty plate. Our used dishes sat on our tables until we chose to move them. There was not a manager in site. The experience was HORRIBLE. I have uploaded pictures to the FB page of BD's, but I am unable to upload them here.

The last two times I was there, the dining area tables were cluttered w/empty, dirty dishes from tables that hadn't been bused and the floors were dirty too. This time, the bathrooms had cleaning buckets just left on the counter, dirty floors, toilet seats and unflushed toilets. I definitely would NOT recommend this location.

Good food and great cooks. Our server had a lot of customers so service was a little slow but she was very friendly.

BD’s is always good. Wish it was a little less cramped, but they make due with what they have. They had no problem accommodating our party of 8.

Enjoy BD's, but their a/c is out, making it not quite as enjoyable. Food and service were good. Also, their lighting needs some work, as it is not evenly lit and some lights shine directly in your face, but don't illuminate the table.

Sadly the restaurant has gone downhill. Everything was a mess. Sauces spilled and ingredients mixed up. I ended up with noodles in my food that I didn't put there. The silverware was taken from a bin of water and brought to our table with the menus. I hope that is was actually washed first. No idea why the bin at the front desk. Signs for proteins did not match the actual protein to the extent that we couldn't figure out the various chicken. We liked the vegan options but over all disappointing

This was my first time eating at BD's Mongolian Grille and my work colleagues from Italy wanted to dine here for lunch. What an interesting experience from selecting our ingredients to watching the grill master maneuver the large grill and tools. Food was good and I would definitely recommend this Location for lunch.

I downloaded the OpenTable app to make a reservation at this location. I arrived about 12 minutes early, the host said it would just be a few minutes. After 20 minutes, I went to stand by the entrance, where the host should be, he was nowhere in sight, then I saw him cleaning off a table, at a snails pace, just to seat a party that came in after us! He eventually came back over and said "I'm sorry, I can't remember if I've already talked with you." Of course I said, "yes you did, I'm the one that had the reservation for 1:45." Oh yeah, I'm sorry, just give me a minute, 10 minutes later we were at a table. I'm not done......had to wait for a waitress, then had to ask another server for silverware and had to ask another server yet for rice and soft shell wraps. Very disappointed with our visit, which we were celebrating our daughter's high school graduation.

My families meals were very good. I ordered the Pad Thai.... it was HORRIBLE!! The noodles were not even close to being al dente and had a strong citrus flavor. That being said.... I will go back. I will just never order a prepared meal again. We went for early dinner on Monday. Place was dead and service was excellent.

This was not what I expected. The food Is overpriced and does not appear to be fresh.the food lacks flavor. Yeah you can continue to put flavor sauces to add more spice. But your food then becomes a pile of a sloppy greasy mess. Highly would not recommend.

We've been to BD's many times and it's always been good, but our most recent trip was far less than great. There seemed to be a problem keeping the food bars stocked with food as the soup was empty when I made my first trip up and after having my bowl cooked and eaten the soup was still empty. On our second trip to the food bar to prepare my bowl the following were empty (Chicken, NY Strip, LoMein Noodles, One Soup and Yum Yum Sauce). At the end of the day we found ourselves compromising our initial choices in an effort to achieve expediency as I have a 10 Month old baby and the time window can be short at time

I was able to put together a good, healthy meal. I'm a work-out enthusiast and eat very carefully so this is #1 for me. The server was nice but not at all inspired- she was just going through the motions as were all of the employees. But, that is still ok but doesn't get you 5 stars. The veggies were fresh, the nutritional numbers were easily available for everything oin the web-site and that was very good. I will be going back.

Great dinner where you can create your own culinary delights. The atmosphere is casual and a bit noisy, and the lighting is hit or miss (dark spots, or puts food in the shadows), but good for family and friends alike. Service was attentive (as much as you can expect in the self-serve Mongolian bbq style). There was a line waiting to grill the food, but the guys on the grill did a good job of keeping it moving and engaging the customers while they cooked.

Excellent service, our table was ready when we arrived. Everyone loved being able to choose the makeup of their dinner and watch it being cooked just for them. Our waitress was very willing to accommodate my diet restrictions.

Very clean and welcoming environment.

The noise level was comfortable such that our group of seven could all hear each other yet not feel like we were louder than those around us. It was perfect for our group.

Excellent food, plenty to choose from to create your meal.

We were seated with our backs to a window (1/2 of us) and it was very cold on our backs. When they turned on the heat, a curtain of almost unbearable hot air poured down on us. The total experience would have been great if it weren't for the hot/cold environment issue.

My reservation was 4:45 on a Sunday, and the restaurant was not crowded - not even half full. Service was poor to fair. After having my entree cooked at the grill, I had to find my waiter to get my side dishes. Waiting 10 minutes to get a refill of water is not acceptable. Now my server seemed to be running all over the place, so maybe it wasn't his fault and maybe management is to be held accountable for under staffing - at my expense. Some of the salad choices were empty and the bottom of the containers were frozen.
