Beau’s on the River opened at the Sheraton Suites Akron/Cuyahoga Falls in May of 2013. This restaurant and lounge on the river offers stunning views of the river rapids and falls with floor to ceiling windows with and innovative contemporary décor. As a sister property to Beau’s Grille at the Hilton Fairlawn, we offer a casual atmosphere with plenty of the same great food and service that the award-winning Beau’s Grille has been treating our loyal customers to for years.     We always enjoy our dining experience at Beau’s. It’s never too loud and there isn’t a bad seat it’s nice to look out over the river. The lobster bisque is always a winner, and we also had an appetizer that was a mashed potato ball rolled up in hash browns and wrapped in bacon, then deep fried. The bomb! For dinner I had the halibut and my wife had the stuffed salmon. Both came with risotto. We need to put this in our rotation more often!

    We had lunch at Beau's on the River with friends. Our meals were delicious and the waitress gave us just the right amount of attention--she didn't hover, so we were able to have a nice conversation. The view of the Cuyahoga River from our table in the corner was spectacular.

    This was a good experience overall! Food was great, but the service was poor. We had a reservation for window seat. When we got there they sat us down at our table overlooking the water. But because some rich people didn't want us near their table they moved us and said here's a better seat and it actually wasn't it was a booth not near the window. I felt so small like I didn't belong. We paid good money I made reservations for my wife's birthday everything was going good until this fiasco.

    Wonderful experience! The short ribs, salmon, pierogies, and veal were excellent. Our waitress, Katelyn, was attentive but not overbearing. Beautiful view by the river.

    The restaurant and view of the river were both beautiful. Our service was top notch and the menu selections have a nice variety to them. There is fairly decent wine list with affordable glasses up to relatively expensive bottles, as well as cocktails and beer to choose from. We did think the menu prices were a bit high, but the overall experience was worth it. The stuffed salmon was delicious.

    The experience was nice, as it always has been the many times we’ve been here in the past. However, pork chops were extremely tough this visit. Maybe because we had a late visit. Because this was the first time the food was not up to par. We’ve been eating here for years.

    The atmosphere is great. Beautiful views, nice private tables, romantic ambience and classy for business gatherings. The food was quite lacking. We ordered the stroganoff and it had zero seasoning and odd pairing of broccolini and too much sauce. No flavor at all, disappointed. Desert was good, espresso machine was broken. A bit pricey for the flavor profile of the food and lackluster presentation. Drinks good. I would only recommend for drinks and appetizers.

    The restaurant is in a lovely location over the river with stunning views. The desserts were very good. The lamb chops my grandson ordered were excellent. I ordered the tomato burrato, and the tomatos were not ripe enough. I would ask to be sure if they are ripe before ordering. Also, the lobster roll is made with a lobster, celery and mayonnaise salad. I was expecting warm lobster with butter.

    Very Nice place to eat w spouse for Brunch. Brunch food felt and tasted like any other continental breakfast, except with a nice, professional flare with the chefs making omlets, pancakes and such. The tiny lemon muffins in the basket were absolutely delightful! Seating is amazing with the view and the staff was very attentive. I would love to see what the dinner experience is like.

    Very nice setting, wonderful views. The service was excellent and attentive. The food, however, was just OK. The lobster bisque was too sweet and the lobster did not taste fresh. The lobster roll was OK, just not outstanding. The Perch sandwich was good.

    The breathtaking river view makes the dining experience truly worth it. Good food, excellent service, but the view and ambiance steal the show. However… It's disappointing to see an additional charge for credit card payments. Penalizing customers for using a widely accepted form of payment detracts from the dining experience. Eliminating this fee would benefit both the restaurant and customers. Paying by credit card offers convenience, security, and helps track expenses. Removing the charge demonstrates a commitment to customer satisfaction and attracts a larger customer base in today's digital age. One alternative is to slightly raise menu prices to incorporate credit card transaction costs, providing a transparent experience for all patrons. Imposing an extra charge may affect gratuity left for servers, so integrating the fee into menu prices ensures fair compensation for staff and promotes a harmonious relationship between customers and servers. Reconsidering this policy and prioritizing customer convenience enhances the dining experience and fosters lasting customer loyalty.

    In the past, we've really enjoyed the brunch buffet, but make sure to go early! We had a 12:30 reservation and the selection was much smaller than usual. The dessert table was completely gone -- the only option was cheesecake, which my dad can't eat; so much for Father's Day dessert. We'll go back again, but we will definitely be going earlier.

    Only two things to improve The bread has a lot to be desired. A nice sourdough with crust or dark brown or a multigrain variety. The fennel apple salad did not have any fennel or seeds on it, like the menu described. Disappointing.

    Beautiful dining room with an incredible view. Service was great too. For a perfect date, grab a few drinks from the Tiki bar down the road and enjoy a great meal with a window view at Beaus.

    So let me start by saying that the restaurant itself is beautiful! I might return just for the view of the river from the restaurant. Food was mediocre. The waffles were dry and hard and the food overall was not very flavorful. The server should have explained where the food was because this was our first time and we missed an entire half of the buffet because it was on the opposite side of the entrance. I ordered bottomless Mimosas with a mix of Cranberry and OJ and they were good, but beware they are only bottomless until 1pm, so if you arrive for brunch at 12:30 you will not get your money's worth since there is a hard stop at 1pm.

    My second time at Beau's On The River. Each experience was great! From the time you walk in until you leave. And everyone, including the carver on this particular Sunday, was very pleasant. And, of course the food and the views are always amazing.

    Really disappointed. We came for a work trip and wanted a nice dinner. Everything but the view was horrible. The food was not fresh and super salty, we had to exchange a few dishes. The service was lacking attention , in a certain point the server especially avoided eye with us so we cannot complain and the manager barely did anything to help us have a better experience, not even a dessert comped or a discount on the bill. Even the drinks were wrong. Asked for a martini , got a whiskey blended with vermouth.

    This is a nice buffet. Omelet table, salads, breakfast, lunch. Only suggestion is to slice the prime rib a little thicker, it's paper thin and if you ask the carver he won't do it, or at least he hasn't done it for me or any others in my party. And on this occasion we were only given lemon muffins which are my favorite, but one person in my party prefers the chocolate. I assume they ran out but we were there before noon. The service is excellent, you ask for something and she was great plus she was always coming back to clear away plates. We had a table by the window so the river was our view which was wonderful. It was a little noisier than usual but we were in a room where there was a table of maybe 20 people celebrating a birthday, so that is to be expected. Overall it was a nice experience.

    We booked this reservation under the assumption that this was a higher end restaurant. The overall experience was fair, and we will not return. - Ambiance: Yes, the views are nice, but the overall ambiance was poor. This was not a busy restaurant for a Friday evening. It was mostly empty. There was no music playing at all. It was almost awkwardly silent. - Food: I ordered a filet mignon steak, and it was average. It is not comparable to high end steak restaurants such as Red, STK, Capital Grille, etc. It was dry and had a lot of fat on it, which is unusual for a filet - Service: The hostess girls can use some training. They were unprofessional and unfriendly . They were definitely giving off high school Applebees worker vibes. The waitress was kind, but it definitely was not 5 star service. We were not checked in on frequently . We ordered a bottle of wine, and they poured it for us. However, they poured almost to the rim. White wine drinkers know that you do not do that as the wine gets warmer quicker . It was almost as though they didn’t have experience with wine and bottles. By 10 pm, the restaurant was completely empty. Workers were running around cleaning and chatting with each other. It was awkward. I guess I just assumed that this was a higher end restaurant by the photos.
