Benihana - Dulles, VA

Food was just OK. We had a reservation, and had to wait almost 30 minutes until we were seated. We had to ask for water refills. They raised their prices. Wasn't impressed overall

Our cook was weird, she forgot ingredients, messed up everyone’s order. She was awful.

It was an great experience but between the reservation time & the time we were actually seated was an extra half hour at least.

Great food at a great price. Very safe with the Rona restrictions, we felt very comfortable.

Not sure why there could be any bad reviews for them? Food was great, not crowded(went on a Friday night). Chefs were entertaining (mine was Rufino). Just a great time overall. I will be back.

Birthday celebration with my wife. Unusually long wait for a table given that we had a reservation and restaurant was not remotely crowded. However, this was one of the few establishments in the DC area with indoor dining so it would have been ridiculous to complain. Food was excellent!

This used to be a decent place to celebrate. The food is not as good-lobsters were tiny, the meat was tiny and looked right out of the freezer. Too bad b/c my kids used to love it

We were out to celebrate our son’s birthday and everything was great. The service was prompt and attentive. The food was cooked perfectly and tasted great. We will be back for sure.

I’ve been to a few Benihana’s and the food is always amazing. So thats the reason I always come back, but I made reservations and I was sat at my reserved time, and once I sat down the cook seemed very tired. She was very sweet but tired and our server seemed to be very busy as well. The server was nice when she had time to check on us, but I feel as if Benihana was not prepared to accommodate all of the reservations they had that evening. I will be back but I will reserve at an earlier time.

Food seemed over priced and our chef was obnoxiously loud. It was hard to enjoy the experience with the loud constant banging of his metal spatula on the metal table

Amazing food and great experience. Definitely worth the price.

Worst restaurant experience. I was freezing, the manager walked over 5 times to says she was working on it. Every customer had on winter coats with hoodies. I will never to back and wont recommend.

Appreciate service from Hostess Marlena and preparer Victoria. Always does an excellent job in all food prep and presentation.

Great service. One result of COVID is smaller groups at tables. Wait staff was friendly and took good care of us.

The service and the food we’re both good. The Teppanyaki table was boring. I remember when it used to be fun. The chef didn’t say two words the whole night. The carpet was dirty, ripped and beat up. I’ve gone to other Benihana’s and had a fun experience the one at Dulles just seems rundown, not much atmosphere at the Teppanyaki table.

Prices are a little high, but the food was wonderful and the staff was great! Always a great experience.

Fabulous! Great food and service. I’m looking forward to celebrating the holidays at this restaurant with a few friends again.

For the price the food and experiences was not worth it.

We have been to this same restaurant several times in the past and this last visit just didn't measure up to past expectations. The two of us were alone at the table which changed the dynamics greatly. The chicken was dry and chewy. The steak and shrimp were much better. The $4 surcharge per person for brown rice (without the chicken) is expensive...especially since it is a few vegetables and an egg and requires very little prep. Hope for better experience next visit.

Great service by your staff for a group of 8 ten year old girls. Really appreciate the kind, professional patience. Will be back again soon.

The Yum Yum sauce was terrible. It ruin the entire meal the meal. Plates were full of rice and noodles, no meat.

Terrible service - took orders multiple times and got it all wrong. Chef dropped many items and even splattered an egg everywhere on the food cart. No service during meal - kept requesting food and drinks - never appeared. The place had two other parties so mostly a ghost town and they could not even handle this small party.

We had high expectations going into the restaurants because of the reviews from others . The food was good but for the amount of money you spend it’s truly not worth it. The food portions are so slim it’s crazy to even charge 35-42 food a meal.

Excellent food. We had a bit of a wait even with a reservation. However they where kind enough to sit us at the lounge while we wait and take our orders for drinks and appetizers.

The manager was horrible. She said we couldn’t be seated at our reserved time and continued to argue with me while I’m pregnant and my kids were starving. All we wanted was a good birthday experience for my child and it turned out to be horrible. Never going again.

It was an excellent atmosphere. Everybody catered to us very well. Even with us arriving late it was fantastic.Incredible service and everything.

The 3 of us received a table just for us. Couldn't be more thankful given the times.
