   Had reservations for 7:30 but weren’t seated until 8:20. We were celebrating end of year with our 3 kids and it was very disappointing. Food was not great at all. Way overpriced! Server was good and cook was good as far as personalities. Definitely would not recommend at all.

   We are a family of 7 and rely on restaurants that offer reservations, otherwise we risk waiting hours to be seated. With 3 children under 5, need I say more about a wait that long? We made reservations for 10pm, arrived 20 minutes early only to not be seated for another hour. We watched as many people were seated before us. It was awful, kids were tired. I had to keep them awake and my sanity together in tandem. Please don't offer reservations if you cannot manage them. Never were we approached by management or anyone else for that matter. I had to keep asking people what we could expect. Awful service. We were so excited to have our kids experience hibachi for the first time and now it will also likely be the last time.

   Wow! Had a 9pm reservation and wasn’t seated until 9:30pm but then had to wait until 10:30 pm for the cook to get to the table and then he found out several items was missing from his cart that we had to wait another 30 minutes until the food began to be cooked. The wait staff was nicer than the hostesses and the cook was the highlight of the night keeping the night as enjoyable possible. Food was ok but presentation was awesome. On a scale from 1 to 10, I give it a 4 based solely on the great drinks and the cook.

   It was the Benihana experience as expected. However, management or corporate needs to understand that they can’t overbook reservations or continue to accept walk-ins just for the sake of having more customers. We had an 8:45 reservations and were told it would be an addition 30 minutes before we sat down. Once we were sat we didn’t start eating until almost 10 and that was just the soup. The wait staff and the chefs do a fantastic job, but their management needs to do their part as well.

   Our hibachi chef and wait staff were amazing! The food was mediocre and the menu pricing was ridiculous and definitely not worth it for a chain restaurant! I walked out annoyed that we spent that much money and we didn’t just leave prior to ordering. The place was dirty. We shared a hibachi table with another family that made the experience even worse.

   We had reservation for 8pm. We checked in at 8pm. We were told they’re on a 30 minute backup. At 8:40 I check on my table to find out I had never been checked in even though I was told at 8 I had been and I’d get a text when the table was ready. We didn’t get seated until almost 9:30pm. An hour and a half after our reservation.

    Waited 53 minutes after the server came to recieve waters. Our drink order came after the food 60+ minutes after our order was taken (and was incorrect) appetizer eas never served after our order came out the volunteered to 'reheat' our seafood app that was still in the kitchen for us we declined.

    This place got very pricey where hibachi specialties are now $48-$50 per person. The wait to be seated was 20 minutes even with reservation, and we waited for another 25 -30 minutes to have beers, soup and salad served to us. This place was very busy on Thursday evening. Opening another location somewhere north Orlando for example Altamonte Springs would be very helpful to redirect the traffic of locals and tourists, so, we locals, can enjoy a great food and not drive 1 hour.     I have never left a review but feel like I cannot let this one go. This was the worst meal I have eaten in I cannot tell you how long. Food quality, taste and value were terrible. I can’t figure out how to put into words how infuriating this experience was. We love hibachi and this pretty much ruined it for us. Never again will we eat at another Benihana. I don’t care if it was for free.

    Went there for my son’s birthday. While he enjoyed his food, he prefers bland food, I was less than thrilled with the food quality and portions, especially at the prices I saw. I also ordered takeout and got the Benihana Trio and was shocked not only by the price, which was higher for takeout than in the menu, but the portion consisted of a few pieces of steak, chicken and a few shrimp. After all was said and done, it was over $80 for takeout and over $100 for the two of us. Needless to say, I don’t think we’ll be going back there anytime soon.

    Food was bland, salad dressing bad, scallops were over cooked as was my rare steak, colossal shrimp were really medium shrimp. Prices were outrageous for the quality of food. Cocktails were really expensive. Would not dine there again.

    The cook was good, and polite. The server was decent, not over the top but not bad. The restaurant wasn’t as clean as I thought it should be for the meal prices. It seemed kinda unkempt.

    When we arrived at the restaurant, we were informed that the restaurant was 20mins behind, which was understandable since it was Mother’s Day. However, we had to wait for an hour and 20 minutes before we got seated. This is a ridiculous wait, especially when we made a reservation in advance.

    We went for Mother’s Day and had a reservation. It was so packed it was almost a fire hazard. People were crowding the door ways you could barely get in or out. The food was great as always. I do feel like we were over packed into a table

    Our chef was mediocre the only exciting thing he did was lighting the onions on fire and saying “choo choo” the other chefs at other tables were crunk. Our chef was kind of boring. The food was not all that for the price very bland with little to no season. The filet mignon was very tender. To me Kobe Japanese steakhouse was much better. I don’t think I’ll be visiting this one again. First time going, very disappointed. The waiter Aaron was amazing!!!

    Made reservations but had to wait. Seating was too close as it was hard to eat squished together. I felt the hibachi rice was skimpy as I have always received more than what I received. We paid good money for a tiny bit didn’t seem worth it. This was our third time in two months. I might have to look for a different place to go.

    Went because I saw so much noise on socials about the spicy chili roll. I was so excited to try that and many other things on the menu (I love trying new restaurants and taste testing a bit of everything with my husband). The spicy chili roll and passion fruit lemonade were good, but that was it! The spicy chicken rice was dry. The hibachi was dry and literally a child’s size portion (got the “Emperor’s Feast”), I didn’t get HALF the things that were supposed to come with the 6 course meal including the salad, shrimp appetizer, green tea, or ice cream/sherbet. NOT worth almost $60! The noodles were plain and dry. The Tequlia Tiger Punch (virgin) was literally watermelon syrup with a splash of soda on top. It turned my stomach, it was too thick and sweet. I couldn’t be PAID to return there. And the worst part is we drove over an hour for the disappointment. Last but not least (which I should’ve actually put first because it was literally the first thing that happened after being seated), the waitress knocked over the ice water she sat down on the table, the glass broke and the water spilled into my entire lap and into my purse (which is designer but I won’t even go there). I know accidents happen and thankfully my napkin was on my lap so it got a good majority of the water off my pants but I still got wet and sat and ate my food through the cold. And on top of it all, the poor waitress was the only one manning the lounge area (away from the hibachi tables) and was running around like a chicken with its head off. After the water spilled on the entire table I requested more napkins and straws, multiple times. I didn’t get those until halfway through the meal. I saw her maybe 2-3 times throughout the meal for a split second. I couldn’t even get a refill on one of the only 2 things that were good, which was my lemonade. Needless to say we won’t be returning. Spoke with the manager but the culture needs to change. Poor managed and I hard many others complaining.

    Way too over crowded. Reservation at 7:15pm, got table at almost 8pm. Sat and waited another 20 min before even drinks order came. Food was mediocre, though fried rice was decent. Habachi chef did make it a little fun for the kids. Overall, not worth the money for the experience.

    Everything about this place is tacky! Worse chef ever experienced in all my years! Server made rude reminder that he shares his tips with the bartender. That comment dropped his tip down. Only thing good was my purple drink. Will never be going back to a Benihana. PS the chef did nothing special to make experience fun. Waste of money…
