Perfect place to celebrate our steak loving son's 25th birthday. Amazingly fresh lump crabmeat, fresh and lightly crispy calamari and juicy thick cut bacon for starters. Then we shared a thick and scrumptious steak and a baked lobster...both cooked to all of our delights. My son ordered creme brûlée and the staff put a candle in and sang to all our enjoyment and pleasure.

I have to admit that I was really looking forward to the visit to Benjamin's. The atmosphere was great and the service impeccable. The issue, much to our surprise, was that none of the 3 steaks ordered were cooked the way they were requested - the medium Tomahawk was much too rare, the strip steak that was requested as rare was medium, and the steak that was requested as medium was medium well. This was certainly not my expectation considering that it is a steakhouse. All the food was delicious - sides, appetizers, and desserts were great. Steaks were flavorful. So, it was a good meal. It just wasn't a great meal, especially considering the cost. Disappointed.

First of all, I was skeptical because prices were not listed online. But decided to give one more try. Martini was good Creamed spinach very good Mashed potato average. Sides came out luke warm, not hot.. Sides were not generous portions for the price. Filet mignon good but came out medium instead of medium rare, as ordered. Sirloin with the bone in, crazily priced, was poor quality with more fat and bone than edible meat. Service was good and very friendly. Overall, probably will not go back because of inconsistentcy in overall quality, in the last three visits. I would not recommend Benjamin’s to a friend.

Absolutely perfect steaks! My friend and I both ordered petite filet. We shared the peas & onions as well as the home fries. Delicious and cooked to perfection. We shared Crème Brûlée for dessert. We split the check and it was $100 each. (We are not drinkers since we were both driving a car home). My second visit to Benjamin’s Steak House and I can’t wait to go again.

Our waiter was excellent. We ordered salad, shrimp cocktail, backed clams, calamari and ribeye steak. Normally, we would have salad served with the appetizers, but our waiter suggested that the salad to be served with the steak. It turned out to be much better! Great suggestion! Food was excellent as usual, especially the clams, must came right out of the oven, sizzling hot, we loved it!

Food and service was top notch, equal to most high end restaurants. Definitely a place for a special night out. Only one negative. They sent me an email promotion for a free cocktail with dinner. So, I attended with my wife. We both had dinner and the waiter brought us two cocktails that were very good. When the bill came, only one was free and they charged for the second. The waiter said he could only comp the one drink. First of all, that is ridiculous if true. The promotion should cover anyone having dinner. Also, the waiter should have said that when he took our order, because we might not have ordered the second cocktail.

We were there to celebrate our Anniversary - Steak is very good, however, the sides leave a lot to be desired and would rate them poorly. We ordered fillets, appetizer, salad and 2 additional sides with our dinner -- Overall spent over 360 dollars for two people. Calamari was similar to frozen food you get boxed in a supermarket. House fries again feel as they're reheated, certainly not made on premises "reheated". Not worth the price as there are other venues with better choices in the Tri-state area. Amenities were poor - My wife used the lavatory and two out of the three stalls had no toilet paper. Not acceptable for a place at this price point and as acclaimed as it is.

Our group of 6 enjoyed a fabulous dinner comprised of attentiveness by Donny, our server, as well as the entire staff from hostesses to food runner to bartender. Our drinks were delicious (Love Potion 2 and espresso martinis were to die for), the steak cooked perfectly and the bacon... oh the bacon was mouth watering.

Great food and elegant atmosphere at the Benjamin Steak House in White Plains. It was my first time here and I very pleasantly surprised to find such an establishment on Hartsdale Ave. The service was quite good. There’s an ample parking lot adjacent to tho the restaurant but valet is required.

It was hot in the outside dining area even though we were told it was air conditioned. Our waiter was terrific. Took great care of us. My filet mignon was delicious and cooked exactly the way I requested but my friends steaks were not very tender. Did not care for the creamed spinach. They should offer baked potatoes. The cheesecake was very good.

We could not have enjoyed a steakhouse more than Benjamin's last night. The steaks and lobster were excellent, we had a terrific server and the managers were attentivre and took great care. Our second time there in two weeks and we will be regulars.

I don’t eat meat but know that they always have good seafood at a steak restaurant. I have a 2 pound lobster and it was absolutely terrific. That said this restaurant is very expensive and for expensive restaurant it is not especially well run. Services adequate but not superb and when I’m spending $80 an entrée I expect four star service
