   The BEST Indian food I’ve had in Toronto. Their naan is to die for and the special butter chicken is the perfect butter chicken.

   Bad food, slow and unattentive staff, very quiet and gives you a feeling like everyone can hear your conversation. Not even that cheap. Naan bread was good though 🙂

   Great Indian food. We've run out of India spots since the recent loss of some of our faves in the neighbourhood, but decided to try here after a recent delivery order turned out pretty yummy. Service was a little slow, but we were in no rush to eat. The place is a little small, but having the reservation kept us at ease. Overall, food was great and we would definitely come back on order takeout from here.

   Very small place so hard to have a conversation without involving all the other tables. But who cares the food was so good. When they say do you want spicy or spicy spicy. Make sure you can tolerate spices because spicy spicy was fire! But so good lol

    Nice small place. Food was quite mild though we asked for it medium. Could have used a little more spice but flavours were very good, service excellent. I would happily go back.

    Visiting from out of town and was tired of the typical tourist destinations. The service was very attentive without being stilted. Food was well-prepared and delicious. A lively, fun environment.

    For a restaurant located in Yorkville and on Open Table, I do expect more than your local takeout joint. We went because the reviews were good for this restaurant, and we were craving good Indian food. The meal was disappointing. We had the sampler plate, ordered vegetarian and got the one that included fish and chicken. One of us does not eat fish and the chicken was tough. Overall, it's not worth ordering. Everything was deep fried and seemed old - like it was refried. For the mains we had the chicken vindaloo, the special butter chicken, eggplant bharta, garlic naan and cumin rice. The vindaloo tasted only like raw chili powder, the eggplant was incredibly salty. The butter chicken was good. Service was lacklustre, with other tables being served before us that arrived well after us. They did give us 15% off to apologize for this. At the end of our meal, one of the ladies working there came into the dining room to seat another table - she had a large (about a toonie size or big) wound on her with a matching blister the same size on her arm. Needless to say, that left me leaving the restaurant feeling ill and wondering if she had been in the kitchen preparing food. Bottom line: this might be good enough for takeout butter chicken and some naan, but I won't be making the trip back.

    Firstly, they had no clue about the reservation made by me via open table - kind of defeats the whole purpose. However, they were quick enough to arrange a table of 4 and take our orders fairly quickly. The mango Lassi served at first was sour and was replaced promptly only to be more sour than the earlier one - they did not charge me though for it. Overall service was ok, could be better considering it was and business lunch with time constraints. But certainly a place you can try for Indian food as an option.
