BiBo Pizzeria con Cucina Ratings and Reviews
Everytime we eat to the Bibo we feel at home.😍 Thank you.
The pizza was delicious, our waiter was attentive, friendly & professional. We did find it a little on the pricey side but overall we had a nice experience.
The food was absolutely delicious. Between three adults we shared a pizza, pasta pepe, and a Mediterranean pasta. We wanted to get a little bit of many things to share and taste. Its definitely a great gem in this part of the city - I can't wait to go back again.
The spaghettis are over cooked, extremely salty with unpleasant smell. The Caprese salad is overpriced. I’ve been to many Italian restaurant in Vancouver, and I can only say this establishment has great space for improvement.
The food was good but the service was inexperienced. They didn't understand how to serve a first and second course when not everyone had a first course (it came out jumbled and counfused). The food was good however and I especially like the wine and bread.
Amazing food, service and ambiance! Have gone twice in a week visit to Vancouver. With so many great restaurants to choose from in Kits, that says a lot.
Great food and service. We missed the burrata salad this time as we were too late. We will plan ahead next time.
Terrible service. 4 of us dining - one meal served about 10 min before the 3 others. Server did not come by our table even once to see how our meals were or to see if we needed anything else. We had our daughter with us but weren't given a children's menu (we didn't realize there was one until we were leaving) so we paid more than double what we should have for her meal. Ordered a Gelato to go for dessert. Took about 15 - 20 minutes for them to prepare it and then gave us a knife and fork to eat it. Complained to our server on our way out.... She couldn't have cared less.
I enjoyed the Service. It was personal and friendly (and italian). Pixza and beer special was top drawer.
The pizza was light but substantial. Cheese was generous and flavourful and toppings were fresh.
Wonderful pizza from a traditional wood oven, nice atmosphere and good menu selection. Desserts are a little pricey, but everything is tasty. Casual dining. Great for friendly get-togethers with friends or family.
Amazing restaurant, wonderful service. We'll back for sure!!
Felt like there was no enough staffing. Wait times were long for drinks and ordering
Marco is a great Pizza Master, Carolina is a warm and caring manager, and Mauricio never fails in his service. They're all Italian, authentic, and perhaps only the pizza is better!
Get the DOP buffalo cheese marghuerita. Pair it with the fresh Peroni? You can't go wrong.
Stopped by for a pre movie meal. Loved the burrata salad and the thin crusted wood fired pizza. The wine by the bottle special was an extra bonus. Will definitely try this little spot again.
We just ate here tonight and the pizza was excellent. The dough was fresh and the toppings tasty. We shared several different ones for our group of five and enjoyed the Caprese Salad to start. Good wine list (only Italian reds) with a wide variety of price points. The only negative was the Tiramisu which I was very much looking forward to. It was a bit watery but still tasty.
Not bad, very trendy, but quite expensive given the average quality of the food.
The food was just fabulous and Carolina went out of her way to make us feel right at home.
Bibo is very fortunate to have such a great manager. Even though the place was busy she made us feel as if we were the only ones there. If you want great pizza this is the place to go.
Service was slow even though the space was half-empty. The good and drinks were great! Kids-friendly.
The pizza dough had wonderful char, smokey sweetness, chewy and delicious. The charcutterie platter was excellent. Excellent service and a good wine selection.
Alaways our family favourite. We love the food and great staff who give a super service
Best pizza in town !!! No doubt about it
Best pizza in town!
We really enjoyed the food and service. Great value for the money.
Our lackluster experience here started pretty much as soon as we walked in. One of the servers approached the host station at the same time but didn't even look at us or say hello. We stood there for about 30 seconds before he finally looked up and acknowledged us. We ordered the insalata mista and the crudo pizza. The salad came with sad chopped lettuce, too chunky fennel, and tasteless mozzarella and tomatoes (why the need to use tomatoes out of season???). The pizza crust was decently cooked, though a bit underdone. There was no deep flavor in the crust--I'm doubtful they let their dough rise overnight. The only flavor from the toppings came from the saltiness of the prosciutto. The mozzarella again was tasteless, and the arugula lacked a peppery bite. The flakes of parmigiano tasted more like cheap grana padano. We were in Vancouver on vacation and were so looking forward to some delicious meals. I'm disappointed that we did not have that at Bibo. Not recommended.
Just get the pizza! It's awesome !!!
fantastic service and meal from our visit on Saturday night! Reserved seats were on time, service was terrific and efficient. Food was top notch with many varieties to select from and had great suggestions from our wonderful server.
Pizza was incredible! But the risotto was just ok
We came for dinner on valentines. Food was amazing apart from the free dessert, which was inedible. Ambiance was terrible. Harsh, bright lighting and Italian radio blaring with ads??? We actually asked them to change the channel but the server said all the channels have ads. Pay for Spotify and call it a day! Overall, pizza is fantastic and the Italian flag salad with burrata was Devine. Just spruce up the decor so the place matches the menu!
Great simplistic pizza that reminded me of some of my favourite pizza from Toronto! Great spot, and went with my girlfriend on valentines dinner which was a great way to celebrate the special occasion. Will be back, and will be recomending!
My girlfriend and I really like this restaurant. The food is excellent and priced fairly. I would recommend they always supply a large table spoon with every pasta dish. You can roll your spaghetti and finish the sauce with it ;-) Also, I recommend waiters should always offer ground pepper. Great place!
The food and service were excellent. Knowledgable staff and enjoyable ambiance
Service was not very good. Food was ok. Some was good but some pasta was very plain with little flavour.
We had a large group but they forgot one of the meals and then did nothing to correct it. It finally came 15 mins after everyone else. The waiter could care if you lived or died. Finally if you do decide to go, do not have the lasagna, Mcain deep and delicious lasagna from your freezer would be better. This was a awful restaurant experience.
Food was ok
No denying that the pizza is great but the place is noisy too industrial looking and absolutely devoid of any ambience. Prices are also far too high for what it is. Service from the all Italian crew is excellent.
Love their pizza!! Best in town
Great evening - good food, nice service and a welcoming ambience. Enjoyed it and will go back.
The occasion was a farewell party for a colleague. The pizza was awesome and most had pizza since it was on a Tuesday which is Beer and pizza for $18. I had the gnocchi Tirolese, which was exactly what I wanted. It is our go to place usually on Thursdays after work and we love the wait staff who always remember us and treat us well. We would do it again
Love Bibo. Been many times now. I've tried several of their pizzas, some of the salads, and some of the pastas, and the service and quality of food has always been consistent. The pizza is pretty legit - a little taste of Italy in Kitsilano. I recommend the Verace pizza (margherita made with buffalo mozzarella). Almost all the staff is Italian, and it adds to the ambiance. I wish the wine list was more extensive.
All in all, for everyday Italian dining, it's my local go-to.
Excellent pizza, nice appetizers, very good wine at a reasonable price. Good service.
