BiBo Pizzeria con Cucina

Dinner: Tuesday - Sunday 5:30 PM - Late
this place is terrible, the food is underseasoned and overpriced, the server was spraying degreaser on the tables and when i told him
about his mistake he didnt even care. complete waste of money i wouldnt reccomend this place to anyone unless they enjoy wasting their money.
Arrived with five of us for a quick dinner before heading off to Bard on the Beach. Good choice of some interesting pizzas, also other Italian favourites. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Good, and not too expensive, wine list.
We arrived a little early for our reservation, we were seated right away. The menus on the tables had food all them, took our server more than 15 mins to come take our drink order. When the server arrived all he said was “are you ready to order food” we asked to start with a drink, I had questions about some of the wines, the server had NO wine knowledge. We asked about the bruschetta and if it came with olives, the server assured us it did not. Once the food arrived we noticed 2 of the 8 peices had olive tapade. The server never came back to check on the food so there was no chance to let him know our disappointment. I had high hopes for this place as it came highly recommend by one of the chefs I work with.
Whilst the pizza is good, the restaurant is very poor value for money and service very slow. Overall a very disappointing experience.
The food is way over priced for what you get. Plus they are super cheap with the bread! Two pieces is like one cut in half. Service was not great. I won’t ever go back.
Good food, great pizza! Quaint kits restaurant to have a nice lunch or dinner
We have been frequenting The Bibo several times over the past five years or more. What a great find and asset to Vancouver. The food is always of high quality, and the staff are generally friendly, and on this occasion we had a friendly and smart server. The restaurant is run by an Italian family who take great care to ensure their menu and ingredients reflect the true Italian quality, taste and freshness. At the same time the atmosphere is casual, tasteful and friendly.
The place has one of the best pizza in town: traditional Italian ingredients, delicious dough, perfect cooking. The atmosphere is friendly and cosy and the service impeccable. I will definitely be back and I will recommend it to all my colleagues and friends who wants a real Italian pizza.
Loved the variety of homemade pasta dishes and the wine selection. 1/2 off our bottle!
great food. every dish as Italian as it can get and better
Fabulous thin crust wood-fired pizzas. Excellent servers. Fine wine list
Live music on Monday's. Pizza and appetisers were great.
Overall very good. My steak excellent and good value. Need a few BC and UsA wines.
I wish I lived in the neighborhood so I could have great pizzas every day. Thats how I like this place so much. Best Italian pizza ever. 2nd time here and never let me down. The dough here is the best. So smooth, not too fluffy, not too chewy, just perfect! Also, cant beat the parma prosciutto here (Crudo is my fav). Service was quick and friendly too. Our server taught us some Italian words ;) Ambience is something that can be improved. I loved the wall arts and bnw movies playing on TV, but the music is a little bit too loud. We had to talk kind of loudly to each other. But, overall very good experience. Keep it up!
Great as usual!
This is our favorite pizza restaurant! Even have Tuesday deal which is $20 for pizza and beer :)
We were seated promptly & then we were left sitting for 30 minutes. I tried numerous times to make eye contact with the server but we were completely ignored. My husband finally got up & found someone to serve us. From there on the service was quick.
The food was average at best. Will not be returning.
The restaurant was not busy and there were only two servers -- had to get more water myself because servers were talking to one another and not paying attention to customers. Service got better after that, but...
The pizzas we ordered were delicious, the food came fast, but the server didn't miss one item on our order. Overall, we would go again!
Food was okay but not remarkable, service was slow but fine with us
I'm not sure I would go back. Although nice ambiance and convenient to home, the pizza was overpriced and nothing special. I had the Crudo at $23 and to be honest I thought it was okay but nothing to write home about.. crust was dry and yes, the toppings were fresh but other than that, just bland. my friend had the Boscaiola at $22, slightly tastier than mine but still overpriced. I might go back just to see if the pasta is any good, but overall I was quite disappointed and I expected more from all the hype about this place.
Bibo has the most authentic pizza in Vancouver. They use two type of flour which makes the pizza crust incredible and just like at home their pizze are as good as the ones in Italy.
Their wine list is also great, with all the typical Italian wine such as Nebbiolo, Barbera, Chianti and Nero d'Avola, which cover different regions of Italy for a great variety of choices.
Their Tiramisu is also really good, and the portion was quite generous.
Very pleasant experience. Good food and efficient waiter
The restaurant was extremely noisy which made it very difficult to hear any of our table conversation. Pizza was really good, however the pastas didn't really have any flavor. We had only been here once before and it was much better overall. One redeeming point was the quality of the service. Exceptional!
Fantastic food , authentic taste! Cozy atmosphere and decently priced (good value for the portions and taste). 10/10 will/ would come back again!
Other than the reception being pretty abrupt and somewhat rude, the food was good and it's a nice place to go for pizza. Improve on the reception and the place gets another star.
Have been going there for the last few years for various occasions or just a night out...they never disappoint!
We were seated then waited for 10 minutes before being served. We watched as people who arrived after were waited on.
Once we did get served everything was rushed. We were still working on our appetizer when our main courses came out.
Our server seemed very distracted.
Food was great! Service sucked!
Like every time I go, this place delivers with some of the best and most authentic pizza you can find in Vancouver. Definitely my favourite! Even if you find something to complain about (I am speaking with you picky customers) you forget about it as soon as you bite into the first slice.
As a first generation italian I am very happy to be able to eat in such an authentic place, even though I live on the other side of the planet. I do absolutely recommend this place!
Great atmosphere! Busy, loud and very Italian! Great servers. 2 Irish young men and 1 Italian young woman via OZ. Is Vancouver finally growing up?
Steak was awesome, nice atmosphere, waiter was super nice
Delicious pizza, fresh salad and the best part was we were able to reserve a table online and avoid a wait.
Our table for 6 was ready on time. Food and service was great.
They easily accommodated all of our requests and the waiter was excellent.
A bit on the noisy side but fine for us. Gnocchi are great and pizza's too.
Loved the lemon scallopini.
I chose the restaurant based on other OpenTable reviews. We had the charcuterie platter, ravioli & pizza. They were all very very delicious. It reminded me of our trip to Italy last summer where the food is amazing. Our server was adorable, friendly and professional. Will definitely come again.
Extremely disappointed in our experience. The food was only ok and at 9:15 they started stacking the chairs on the table and generally making us feel it was time to go. We have no intention of ever going back. Too bad, it use to be a pretty good place. Did the ownership change?
Great food. East to share. Is that 50 characters? How about now.
Made a reservation for three people and they put us at a round table that could seat 6. We had to talk very loudly to hear each other. Good was ok, and had to share as we were sitting so far away. Doubt I’ll be back, there are so many choices close by that are better for the same price.
We enjoyed our meal and the service authentic Italian food great large size salads and wonderful pasta
I went with my spouse and another couple. None of us had been before. My spouse and his friend ordered the veal, I ordered chicken breast in white wine sauce, and our other friend ordered pasta. The food was terrible. The chicken breast was a very small amount of chunks of rubber chicken smothered in vegetables, most unrecognizable. I barely touched it. My spouse and his friend did not like the veal either. You will be lucky if you can find any chicken or veal on the plate. It came with salad (which we already had) and vegetables, vegetable, all sauteed in chunks in a tasteless sauce. My friend said the pasta was great. The pizzas looked okay when I saw them passing by. I think this is strictly a pizza/pasta place. The wine was overpriced and poor choices. We wanted chardonnay and they only had ONE bottle, by fluke. I will never go back.
Food was authentic and tasty and our server was attentive. Really enjoyed the crudo pizza and spaghetti carbonara.
