1. Beef & duck too salty
2. Poor handling by server when he was told the wrong dessert was presented to my aunt
3. Impolite closeup watching followed by aggressive grabbing of credit card machine by server once I finished punching in my passcode

Lovely meal here, as always. Amazing service and the food never disappoints. I didn't like something in my main course and they went out of their way accommodating. Highly recommended this restaurant!

We went there for lunch in summerlicious And the food was delicious with new twists on classic French cuisine. Our waitress was brilliant - attentive and helpful and kind. We sat outside on the patio among the flowers. A memorable meal! Highly recommended!

Liked the decor and the ambiance and the service was pretty good. The table agreed that tri-tip steak was great and I enjoyed the vichyssoise soup i had for my starter. But i felt that the gnocchi i had as my main was an undersized portion and the mushrooms were overly salty, although the texture of the gnocchi themselves were very pillowy.

Outstanding! I had been to Biff's before with a GF and had such a fun evening (sat & ate at the bar). This time, my husband and I went for a much needed night-out! We sat in the bar area which was a bit quieter than the main dining room. Superb service - food - ambiance. We chose a few apps from the Summerlicious menu (Vichyssoise and Tomatoe/Goat Cheese Tart: both were excellent) and chose mains from the regular menu (Pan Fried Perch and Mussels in wine/cream sauce: both excellent choices). Shared dessert and a bottle of Rose. A lovely meal. Look forward to returning soon.

Three of us dined to celebrate two of our birthdays during Summerlicious. Menu choices were good; our appetizers were the Vichysoisse and the Moroccan chickpea salad; our mains were Trout and gnocchi. All were quite good.

Great food, good service, they should have offered ketchup with the frites. Otherwise we were delighted with the food, ambience, service.

we enjoyed a fine summerlicious meal. picked the "healthy" options and they were delicious. we probably should have asked for our poached fish to be a bit warmer and cooked a bit more. Desserts were fantastic!

Not the same quality of food as I remember from 5 years ago. The food fell well short of both the reputation of Biff's and my memory of Biff's in the past. The plate was hot, the food was not and the poached salmon was undercooked. The plate rim of my dessert plate was dirty. It was served on a different pattern dessert plate from the same dessert of my lunch companion. Obviously something has gone amiss in the kitchen. Disappointing to say the least as compared to my experiences of Biff's in the past. Also no bread served with the meal.

The service was very slow-unusual for you. It was 45 minutes before we were served our lunch and I had to ask someone to find it. My guests both ordered quiche which was served cold. It must have been sitting for some time. I dine at Biff's frequently and this was a disappointing experience for me and my quests.

We went there for Summerlicious 2019. The patio seat was cozy. The food is just average. My friend ordered spaghetti, but the noodle was not fully cooked (still hard and white in the middle). It was a weekday lunch. The whole meal took us over 2.5 hours while the restaurant was quite empty.

Great experience. Started with our waiter with a touch of humour who paced the our evening perfectly and provided information as requested and took our pictures at the end of the night. We all chose from the Summerlicious menu and all enjoyed our meals with some commenting that their portion was too much for them. It was a night we will all remember.

I had dinner with a friend for Summerlicious. This was a three-course meal. The appetizer was subpar. The entrée was adequate. The dessert was fantastic. YMMV depending on which items you order, of course, but overall, I expected a bit more from the food, given the excellent decor and the high-end atmosphere.

We were provided with complimentary bread, which was crusty and old. This was slightly improved during the second helping.

IMO, the cost does not justify the quality of food. I would go again but my expectations have been tempered; if I am not impressed during my second visit, I would not go again.

Went to Biff's for a summerlicious dinner on our anniversary. Food and service was excellent and the price was really good. I wished my portion of the main meal was a little larger (got the gnochy) but because it was a 3-course meal I still left satisfied, and this was the best gnochy I've ever had. It had a lot of different herbs and greens added that gave the dish some very unique flavours. My husband had the steak and it was amazing. Another cool feature was that they allowed substitutions in the prix fixe menu because each item was priced individually, so I was able to swap out the appetizer option for something else of the main menu for a small additional cost.

Used to be one of our favs. Worst dining experience we have ever had, service food everything. I think Michael Bonacini needs to focus on the restaurants he has instead of opening more. And given this is what he puts out as a dining experience, he should have his judgeship on Master Chef taken away.

The food at Biff's was good but not great, and definitely overpriced for what you get. Lunch for two ended up costing $165, and at that price point I've had much better experiences.

- ambience nice patio , attentive and personable server, food prepared quickly, was not a busy night holiday weekend and nothing going on at the Sony Centre- food sorry to say is underwhelming - quality ingredients but overall execution wasn't great. Can neither say bad nor good, which leaves us somewhere in the middle. in short, mediocre. Which is too bad because this is a great spot at the foot of the city. I live 1 minute away but will not dine here again, perhaps will come back for a drink on patio. Bottom line: If you're looking for a high-end pub with unwarranted fine-dining prices, sure come here.

Always enjoy an evening at Biffs. The location can not be beat and we were attending a show across the road so just perfect. My only thing would be to request they add some vegetarian/ vegan options. Everything is very heavy and only one entree option that didn’t have meat, although it was laden with cheese. As always the customer service was fabulous!

We were there to celebrate our anniversary before I took my husband to a concert as part of his gift. The meal was delicious from start to finish and our server was super friendly and courteous making sure our meal was out in time for us to get to the concert afterwards.
