I had eaten at this restaurant under a different name a couple of years ago. The food and service have greatly improved since then. Since I was just one person, I chose to sit at the bar and have my meal. The wine list was very nice and many selections could be had by the glass. I had the Wagyu beef and it was prepared just like I wanted it and was delicious. The biggest surprise was dessert. I chose the Key Lime pie and they brought me a ginormous slice of pie that was very, very good and refreshing. I will eat there again when in Grand Junction.

Everyone's food was sub par except one person who ordered the kobe beef ny strip. The salmon, porterhouse, lobster pot pie and others were all let downs. The wine was good, but TRIPLE!?!? the in store price? That's a little absurd. We dropped $800 for 7 people and everything was just ok. I doubt we will be back.

Excellent as always. I had a "Karabuta" pork chop with a poblano, cinnamon butter and a side of creamed spinich. the pork was cooked to a perfect medium well as I had ordered it. My wife had the local organic chicken (which she has had before) and loved it. We had two increadible wines including the '96 Kenwood Jack London Cabernet (a real treat). While my wife ate a slice of the house-made key lime pie, I finished the night with one of Bin 707's 35 tequilas (all 100% agave, of course). My favorite restaurant in town.

We had an early dinner and practically had the place to ourselves. Our waiter Dimitri was well versed in the wines offered and made some excellent suggestions regarding local vodka's. The Rib Eye and Fillet were both cooked perfectly, med-rare and rare with warm red and cool red centers respectively. The meat was wonderfully aged and trimmed; a tender mouth-watering treat. Next time I want to try the lamb or perhaps the eggplant. We had a wonderful experience, probably our most enjoyable evening here on the western slope.

My wife and I have been to Bin 707 several times, and I am impressed with how consistant the experience is. The service staff is more than knowledgable on both the menu and wine list. On this trip, we began with an order of perfectly cooked calamari that was tossed with garlic butter and sweet and hot peppers. Amazing! My wife had a mixed green salad (with a buttermilk herb dressing), and I had the chicken noodle soup (organic chicken and homemade noodles). Great. I debated between the Kobe ribeye and the Creekstone Farms filet. I went with the filet and it was the best cut of meat I have ever had. My wife had the local organic chicken with an orange pan sauce and olives. She loved it. Outstanding food. Excellent service. A great night out.

In my opinion, Bin 707 serves the best filet mignon I have ever put in my mouth! There are some really good deals on the wine list and the service is smooth, friendly, and informative!

We visited this restaurant during a driving circuit around Colorado. We were attracted by the combination of wine and locally sourced food (game, especially). Our experience was outstanding. Our server suggested a wine which paired beautifully with our three entrees, the meats (elk, antelope and lamb) were impeccably prepared, our salads were delicious, and I had a dessert which may have been the best I have ever eaten--a peach cobbler made with local fruit which I still can taste! We highly recommend this spot--in a week of meals in Denver and other cities in the state, this was the best!

The restaurant had the feel of not quite ready for business . Walls were bare ,could use a litte art work. The waiter was very attentive and pleasant. Food menu was interesting. I was expecting a more varried wine list and that was not the case. The food itself was mostly very good. Antelope was very good, potatoes very dry and boring. Dessert menu was not inspiring. Over all good enough for Grand Junction.

this was our first occasion to try the restaurant scene in Grand Junction as travelers on our way through. We were very impressed with the ease of finding the location, the cleanliness of the place and the special menu that was available. A appetizer, entree, shared bottle of wine and desert for $30 a piece. The menu was varied, and delicious food.

Excellent dishes prepared with the very best fresh ingredients. Chef grows his own produce. Leg of antelope and the gazpacho were out of this world. Home grown heirloom tomatoes spoilt by too much heavy mozarella.

Overall, I enjoyed my evening at Bin 707 Food & Wine. I thought the glass of sparkling wine that I had to start with was on the flat side. My server was very pleasant and my complaint about the service is not related to her. I was in the middle of my appetizer/salad when my main course was brought to me. Although the other server took it back, I'm afraid it sat back in the kitchen until I was ready. I felt a bit rushed throughout the evening.

We booked our reservation for 10 based on recommendations on Tripadvisor--all very positive. Here is what we found, the food we ordered was very good--not great, but better than average. The problem was our waitress was not familiar with the menu (a major no no). She failed to tell us the things on the menu which they were out of so when she came to take our order, there was major disappointment. Then when ordering dessert, she cam back and said, "the chef refuses to serve the chocolate bread pudding." Refuses to serve????? Never heard that line before. We were there from 6:30 to 8:45 and there were only 4 other tables filled. This restaurant will not survive with no more business than that on a Saturday night. We would not return.

We have dined at BIN 707 several times; and, each time it's wonderful experience in all areas; and, we look forward to trying new dishes. While we were there two nights ago, we received some very bad news and our waiter cued in on this and was especially thoughtful and we appreciated that. Thank you.

The good overall rating is based a little on the sliding Grand Junction scale. The wait staff needs a lot of work. The food is pretty good and they have a good wine selection. The need to take the TV out of the bar area. I do not understand why "upscale" restaurants in GJ need TVs.

fantastic fine dining experience in Grand Jucntion. Food is first class. Service is great. Never seems crowded so I only hope the locals get behind it. Not cheap, but not over the top with pricing. been about 10 times and always look forward to returning. good wine selection.

My husband and I went to Bin 707 for our anniversary Sept 20th, 2008. We love the variety of the wine list which included local wines as well as wine from around the world. We both ordered the 12 oz filet mignon medium but when they first brought out the very thick steaks they were only medium rare. They took the steaks back and finished cooking them. The steaks were absolutely outstanding... the flavor was perfect and they were extremely tender. The carmelized mashed potatoes were also fantastic. For dessert we had the chocolate tort which was incredibly rich and decadent. The interior was styled like a tuscan villa but the view of the next door pizza hut isn't that great. I still highly recommend this restaurant because of the food

We thought the meal was excellent. Each dish came to our table within minutes. The entrees, organic brick chicken and the seafood paella, were delicious. The wait staff were prompt and courteous. This is a nice restaurant to take a special someone. It is an adult scene with nice lighting, music and no children.

The food was quite good, and the wine list was a pleasant surprise considering this is a new restaurant and Open Table Sponsor. In addition, the service was well above average and we were afforded all of the courtesy we have come to expect as VIP members. Highly Recommended!

All I have marked above are true. This is a great restaurant having been bought from the former owners that served heavy Gr./It. food. The decor is light and airy now; the food was extremely good and different for a nice leisurely lunch. Our waiter was excellent (Rick, I think). On a scale of 10, I would give it a 10. We will try it for dinner soon and include Bin 707 on our list of places to take visitors to our home.

I would guess that this is the best restaurant in Grand Junction. So coming from Los Angeles and having dined in Chicago, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone living in or driving through GJ! The highlight on the wine list is the Levendi Cab. A great value for an excellent wine.
