What can I say.... absolutely delicious. Great service
Lovely meal with many delicious flavors and options to choose from. Great service timely and warm. Thank you for a great evening and meal:)
Absolutely fantastic! This was our second visit, and STILL a great place! Courteous friendly staff and servers, great menu. With so many intriguing options, I couldn’t decide on one!! I like the fact you change your menu frequently, and also the fact that all your food is locally grown and sourced. We will be visiting more frequently!
Salad was tasteless, the entrée - beef tagliatelle was greasy and flavorless, and the dessert - lemon bar was stale; tasted like it was made the day before.
Excellent staff. Attentive. Engaged. Presented well all around. The Coconut Thai Curry was absolutely delicious, fresh, and veggies were crispy. Perfection. Very much enjoyed the clean minimalist atmosphere and wrap around windows that gave you a panoramic view of the organic gardens below.
It was fun taking in student demonstration on layering a cocktail at the bar. Very creative!
I look forward to retuning again soon.
Once again food excellent and beautiful presentation. Service and staff helpful and efficient .
Always a wonderful and creative meal using local ingredients and local craft beers and beverages. Never disappoints.
I really enjoyed the choices on the menu. It was very eclectic and interesting. I really enjoyed the Ramen and my friend had the beef tenderloin hash and she loved it! The food was hot and it was presented beautifully.
My 2nd visit, & was just as impressed as the previous time! Head Chef Perter (?) , took the time to be at our table and explain some more about the Bistro and the college programs. I'd recommend to anyone, a must-try at Bistro 67... my wife insists that, I bring her for dinner next time!
Hate to write this but unfortunately not the best dinner outing we’ve had.
Remember this is a college restaurant, so the decor and ambiance is not quite “upscale” but it’s fine for what it is.
We were served by a student and her trainer. The student was very shy and quiet. The trainer was friendly and chatty.
We took a special three-course dinner for two at $55. It included soup or salad, choice of entree and dessert plus tea/coffee.
The food was all good to very good. So what was the problem?
My wife had the chicken for the entree. It included winter vegetables. But the vegetable quantity was more of a garnish than a serving. The chicken was like a half-chicken in size. They could just as well serve half that much chicken and include a full serving of vegetables plus rice or potatoes (like other restaurants would do). So she was filling up almost entirely on meat - not a pleasant experience. It might be fine for those on a keto diet or for children who detest their veggies. But for us, it wasn’t pleasant.
Once again excellent food and service! Beautiful presentation
Some good, some not so good. Inconsistent portion sizes. Inexperienced servers. Hit & miss in general but lovely atmosphere!
I have dined at Bistro 67 on other occasions and have always enjoyed the food, ambience and service.
I highly recommend this fine dining place.
I have wanted to try Bistro 67 for a long time. I was disappointed in my dinner the Curry rice noodles as it was very spicy as in hot not all curries are hot I left a lot on my plate and the waiter never asked me how it was. My son enjoyed the spaghetti and meat balls. I would go again but I would try something different. The ambiance was very nice and really nice Canadian music playing.
Birthday for my wife who is a foodie and this place delivers the taste and quality of excellent chef’s talents.
Wish the plate the charcuterie was served on was bigger. All was amazing.
Was amazing for lunch. If you have not gone yet..go
Our first time at Bistro 67 and we loved it. The service was excellent and everything we ordered was delicious. I would definitely return.
Excellent food and great service! We will be coming back again and would heartily recommend it to our friends!!
Booked with Bistro for New Year's Eve dinner for two. Fortunately for me there was a vegetarian menu along side my guests meat and seafood menu. It was a 5 course dinner and every course was as delicious as the last from both menus. I would, will and have already recommended Bistro 67 to friends and co workers. I also look forward to some of the other awesome advantages that Bistro and the students of DC put together! Thanks for a great last 2019 meal!
New Years/Retirement celebrations for friends
The restaurant decor and atmosphere is lovely. Staff and service excellent.
Food needs improvement. Appetizer and soup good. Mains not so good!
Wine selection needs adjustment also. Have never been to a restaurant that does not have either Pino Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc wine by the glass. My husband had fish, I had beef so we did not want a bottle of wine because he wanted white, I wanted red.
We spent New Years Eve at Bistro 67. The set menu was incredible and had more than enough choices to satisfy. Enjoyed every moment!
A superb 5 course meal beautiful presentation and excellent food. Great service and attention to detail
Second visit, New Year's special menu, party of three. Mains, duck very generous portion cooked to perfection, sea bass, best ever, again a very generous portion, vegetarian option risotto very tasty. All starters and dessert were of a high standard. We will be back.
Have already done so. Definitely and will be back. Love the idea of supporting students. Cheers
Always a great experience. With new menu items all of the time the choices are diverse. The staff were very helpful I acknowledging dietary needs as well.
One of our party is GF and partially dairy-free as well; she really appreciated the accommodation that could be given her - it's her new favourite restaurant!! All of us are talking about going there again. Lovely ambience, delicious food, and very knowledgeable servers - it was excellent!
I have been here on a few occasions and I have never been disappointed with a meal. Staff are always friendly and courteous. Food is fresh and full of flavor, the meals are always brought out as a group and very warm. Cannot find a bad thing to say about Bistro67
It was a little drafty. Wait staff was lovely.
Drink costs were a little pricey. I wish I went with another dish. The one I ordered was great. Bread was amazing.
The food is decent but it’s too expensive for what you are getting. Unlike the George brown equivalent the presentation, food and experience isn’t that great.
I've been here several times and it was another good meal. Service was great and our server was very knowledgeable the only thing that could have been improved is that my plate was not that warm.
Staff greeted us warmly. Our server was patient, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Four of us shared the tapas appetizer. It was okay, but nothing unusual. The curry aioli was the most creative and best tasting. The fried balls of stuffing with beef gravy was heavy and a strange choice for an appetizer. Two people had the shawarma burger for $24. One person liked it and one didn’t. Both said it wasn’t what they expected. The fries were attractively presented, but there was only about a cupful, not enough said one diner. One person had the trout $40. Lemon buerre blanc was delicate, over a small trout fillet. The trout rested on a bed of sautéed mushrooms and tomatoes, which would have been better on a Mediterranean plate and didn’t complement the delicacy of the fish. One person had pasta with chicken and liked it. Two diners had dessert, which were good, but overpriced.
Food, portion size, quality, flavour and options were all found to be amazing. The atmosphere was absolutely perfect for our event and price point was also less expensive than expected. Great Job!
OUTSTANDING!!! Everything was INCREDIBLE! Everyone was amazing! Chef Raoul is the superhero of the kitchen!!!!
What a hidden gem!!! Always wanted to try it and finally had a chance to go for my Birthday Party. Their food is fantastic and they are very accommodating when it comes to allergies and respond to inquiries in a timely manner. I would recommend it to everyone if you are looking to try somewhere new and have some great food. Hope to go back in the near future. Thanks Bistro67 for a great time!
Our first experience in Dec 2018 was enjoyable so we decided to come back with our little kids. It was a lovely experience with the exception of the food.
We ordered: App - Sweet Potato Hummus (Rye sourdough crisps, chili oil); Mains - Shawarma Burger and soup (Beef patty, pickled turnip, chickpea hummus, fattoush, garlic aioli, brioche bun) and Sushi Bowl (Seared bluefin tuna, avocado, sticky rice, roasted nori, pickled ginger and red onions, cucumber, toasted sesame seed aioli); Kids - Epic mac and cheese, and Bistro ’67 beef burger and frites included ice cream sandwiches.
Pros: Service was warm and thoughtful; shawarma burger and soup, mac and cheese, and ice cream sandwiches were good! We were offered delicious chocolate covered strawberries to acknowledge our anniversary celebration.
Cons: Rye sourdough crisps were too thin to scoop up the hummus, they’d break before I could get any hummus on them. A redundant appetizer choice considering bread and spread is offered before your food arrives. Didn’t love the sushi bowl, there was a flavour in it that didn’t blend well with the Japanese flavours. Maybe peppercorn? Kids’ meals were lacking, not balanced and too large for little kids. A large bowl of macaroni and real cheese and a full sized burger with greens and 2 tomatoes. Nothing other than butter on the bun. I didn’t ask the server for mayo or mustard, but I’m sure she would’ve had some if I asked. Why not offer sliders?, easier for little hands; and balance the kids dishes with a few raw vegetables for color. Eat the rainbow, folks!
I chose Bistro 67 because they had a dedicated Kids Menu, but I don’t recommend it for kids until they make some improvements. Great for date night, and let the kids spend the night at home with grandma and grandpa!
The food, staff and interior design were all good and as expected, however location of the restaurant and building is very confusing and hard to find specially if you’re not from the area....
The restaurant area is new development and still under construction and the physical address differed most maps and lacking proper directorial signs.
In the rainy or snowy days/ nights, Prepare to have your spare shoes, as The parking lot is not fixed (dirt road) and there’s walk to the main entrance of the building.
Lastly there’s no washroom/ bathroom inside the restaurant, but there’re facilities in the building passed the elevators.
Food and service was outstanding. It was very noisy but that was to be expected because of the multiple Christmas parties. There were no complaints from anyone. (It’s hard to please 10 women) 🤣 and they pleased us all.
Amazing. Must go to for all who haven’t.
