Bistro Joe's Ratings and Reviews
Love this place for Sunday brunch...menu is varied and interesting. Food is delicious and service is well paced. I have loved it every time I have been there and look forward to going again soon.
Introduced to a great wine- red blend -Mira!
Quick service and seated immediately after striking out at Lux and Market.
All round good dinner, definitely recommend.
Loved the food and atmosphere!
Consistently good food and variety. We really like this place and come here often.
Great! What a wonderful atmosphere.
Overall, I'd say it was great. Only a few things that I think could be improved - 1) the chair backs were very uncomfortable after a while, 2) the salmon was farmed and not wild caught (so I declined to order that), and 3) the spread that I think was supposed to be herbed butter that was served with the delicious bread tasted like margarine (ick). Service was excellent and our food was excellent. Atmosphere was nice (much better than it looks from the outside).
Casual, relaxed atmosphere with tasty food, excellent dirty martinis and engaging conservation in an acoustically friendly environment!
Enjoyed the fun contemporary atmosphere at this local hot spot. Interesting craft cocktails and impressive wine list. The seasonal salmon entree was excellent as was the steak my dining companion ordered. The blondie was outstanding, much more than expected from this typically humble dessert offering.
I never thought of Bistro Joe's as a steak place but the last two visits have been for the steak. They are always cook perfect and the sides (brussel sprouts and truffle potatoes) are really good.
My wife and I had a wonderful experience. We will definitely go again.
Great food and great atmosphere
Love bistro Joes. Great place. Great service
We had a great meal and they ALWAYS accommodate our food allergies :). Thank you for always making our family feel welcomed!
Everything was great!
As always "Excellent service", I would like to recognize "Andy" and "K" the manager!!!!!
Hostess was very accommodating with our table preference. We all enjoyed our food as always. I tried the pork chop for the first time and it was cooked to perfection. The mushroom sauce was on the salty side so I skipped that. This is one of the better restaurants in the area.
Awesome staff! Perfect food!! Did the tomahawk for four!! It was so memorable!!
The food was excellent. The service was attentive. It can be noisy, but it’s hard to find a place that isn’t.
Always a wonderful place! Came during happy hour as the weather was great for a walk over and I enjoy having Chris as a bar tender!
The food is great at Bistro Joe's. They were very accommodating with a food allergy. The steaks are a bit pricey, but everything we ate was delicious.
The food was good, but the ambience was terrible. We were stuck in a back corner, next to an office space. The office phone was ringing while we were trying to talk. We tried to turn off the ringer as it was so disruptive. It looked like the restaurant just tried to create extra tables and decided to put one in a former back office, without even trying to move the office. Supermarket employees—not waiters—were walking past us to get to the office space next to us. The restaurant was crowded and understaffed, so service was subpar (not the waiter’s fault). It didn’t help as we were sitting in “nowhere land.” Is it really worth the profit of an extra table to alienate customers who are likely never to return?
Loved their foods, specially oysters!! So fancy decorating on foods !!
Very nice; excellent waiter
We ordered appetizer & entrees. Appetizer came right away and then we sat and waited. Finally asked about entrees & server said she waited to put in order so as not to rush us. It seemed too long until she came out & said the chef redid one of the entrees, fair enough. When it finally came out the sides were cold, not warm, but cold. They came back with them reheated on outside, but not a new order. Too many choices too eat at for a meal & service like this.
Everything we ordered was fresh and delisious! The menu is packed with unique dishes from appetizers to desserts. The drink menu is just abundant with a wide variety of wines, craft beers, and signature cocktails. Great kids menu as well!
They save reservations for the very back of the restaurant near the grocery section. I've never been able to sit in the nicer restaurant area. Once we were dining while people were shopping for wine, hovering over and bumping into our table. It's also an area that gets ignored by servers. I asked about sitting near the front by the large window but they said they save it for "walk ins". Why bother to make a reservation to get trash tables??? Don't bother making reservations here unless you don't care about seating, service or a nice dining experience.
Once again Joe's Bistro did not dissapoint. Their Brussel Sprouts are the best. The filet wrapped in bacon melted in my mouth. The service was top notch, not too intrusive but there when needed.
This was the first time out of a dozen we had bad service . Everything else was fantastic . Food was warm not hot but I blame it on our server .
Great service and food.
Sat at the bar for happy hour drinks and appetizers was wonderful. Able to do a little shopping at the fruit market and meat market downstairs before I left
My husband and I tend to have bad luck with tasteless, overpriced food or really bad service, or both, BUT our recent dinner at Bistro Joe's was impeccable. Sat on the enclosed patio with heaters and lovely lighting.
Ordered a bottle of wine, reasonably priced. Ordered the Bone Marrow app. Lamb Chops and Whitefish for dinner. Blonde brownie sundae for desert. Large portions and so deeeeeelicious!!!!
So happy we finally found a great spot that won't disappoint!
Always great for weekend brunch. The best scones with whipped butter, and I ask for berry preserve. Really great. Also get yogurt with granola and fruit which is excellent. Hash browns, mushroom omelette, pancakes, French toast amazingly delicious. Very nice Bloody Mary bar
First time at Bistro Joe's was a success! I was always really curious and their brunch menu is a great variety for all. The bloody mary bar was superb! I couldn't even decide on toppings. We had 6 people and it was a great spot out on the patio and we enjoyed the atmosphere. I don't know how much I would have loved it being inside, the outside is so bright and lively though. Would recommend for brunch!
The food was surprisingly terrible! Super salty, not as fresh as I would expected from a market. Service was mediocre, something I would expect from an all night run down diner! Expensive night out for this meal.
I have eaten here several times over the past few years and always enjoyed the food. This time, the Nicoise Salad ( previously a favorite ) was just bad- mediocre. My friend who had the fish tacos ate half of one and said the fish was bad and didn't eat them. The wait staff did not offer to replace the meal. There are so many good restaurants in the area that we will not return to Bistro Joe's.
The restaurant was not busy yet my food took an extremely long time and it was cold.
Food was great as always!
Cocktails and dinner with friends :)
We've eaten here many times and had events here as well. The biggest issue is how slow they are. So avoid it if you're in a hurry. The other issues is the atrium/balcony seating in the summer, especially during sunset times as it is far too hot and it makes for a miserable and sweaty experience.
My family and I go to Bistro Joe's most Sundays for brunch. I also have been here multiple times for lunch and dinner. The food is always amazing and fresh. The service is always great!! Make sure to make reservations because this place is so amazing that it gets booked up super fast! Brunch is always amazing and they offer great specials. They also have an amazing Bloody Mary bar and mimosas for brunch! Try their fig jelly and scones they are hands down the best thing I've ever eaten!
Chris was awesome! & very accommodating! The food was delicious as usual!! Can't wait to go back!!
