    Nola is the best restaurant in the West Island! The service was impeccable, the food was a dream, the desserts heavenly. It is such a wonderful treat to eat at Nola; I wish I could afford to eat there every single night!! I highly recommend Nola to anyone who wants to savor delectable food in a warm environment.

    Dinner for 4, All our appetizers were excellent. Two of our Main courses were outstanding, but 2 main courses compared to the rest were just good. I didn’t taste anything I didn’t like but some plates just stood out. Appetizers Chicken was not to be overlooked, it was some of the best fried chicken I have ever had. Octopus was really tender and tasty, fried jambalaya balls, nicely done. main courses Shrimp creole, very spicy, very tasty Catfish was amazing. Short rib and lamb shank were good but lacked in luster compared to the rest. Pricing was on par with Value, not cheap, but worth it.

    My friend and I had an incredible meal at Bistro Nolah. We started with the hush puppies and Mac and cheese, then moved on to shrimp creole and duck confit for mains before finishing off with bread pudding and beignets for dessert. Everything, without exception, was scrumptious. (I also ordered the fried chicken to take home to my daughter, who raved about how good it was). The restaurant is extremely well staffed and waitstaff are professional and knowledgeable. All our questions were answered thoroughly and clear explanations provided. We will definitely be going back.

    Happy we gave this place another try. I've been several time and it was always amazing. Last visit, unfortunately it was very disappointing. We decided a year later to give it another shot! It was great! The waiter was extremely friendly, the service was good , the food and beverages were amazing. Great night!

    My friend and I were blown away by the food! I had the duck leg with mashed potatoes and seasonal veggies and she had the spicy cajun jumbo shrimp with rice. We each had a glass of wine, a coffee and a dessert. Came to about $90 per person including tax and tip. It’s a small place but practically doubles in size in summer with a spacious terrasse. Great for small groups for special occasions or an intimate date. Highly recommend!

    The jambalaya was disappointing, the crab cakes were fine. The Sazerac was outstanding. Noise level was high because the restaurant was full, and that’s OK, it proves that you have a good business model. But you shouldn’t play your music so loud when your restaurant is full, it makes it difficult to communicate with your dining buddies, hence killing the ambience. Glad you have a Hurricane on your cocktail menu, I’ll definitely have on next visit!

    This was our first visit to Nolah. Our server Jennifer was very attentive and sweet! You won my heart at the bread with whipped Chipotle Honey butter ❤️🧈. We tried fried chicken, hush puppies which I loved and crab cakes to start. Our main was Lobster Mac and cheese. The flavour was very good and creamy, it was satisfying but we did find the lobster tail to be on the small side. my husband enjoyed his Mojito. We will definitely return. Next on the list is the shrimp and grits. Lovely place!! Thank you 😊

    Food fantastic as usual. We had the octopus and lamb shank as mains and raw oysters as the entrée. Every thing was excellent.The noise level was high as it was a Saturday evening but this is expected as the restaurant is quite small. Always love coming here. Server Chris was attentive.

    We are becoming regulars here as the food and the service is outstanding. Chris has been our server for the last 4 times and he is kind and extremely professional. This is a jewel in the West Island. If you haven’t been you must go!

    Quel excellent resto! Définitivement mon préféré dans le West-Island. Les plats sont non seulements délicieux mais aussi spectaculaires. Les cocktails sont très originaux et s'agencent bien avec les mets. Le service est extrêmement professionnel. C'est toujours une expérience que d'aller chez Bistro Nolah.

    Best discovery of the year! We were served by the awesome Chris, who clearly knew his menu and could give us honest suggestions: never underestimate the customer service, it's 50% of the experience! Everything was fresh and tasty, we went as a family and tried as much dishes as we could: the fried chicken is a must and the jambalaya is outstanding, both as appetizers. As meals, the Joues de boeuf were melting in your mouth, the catfish was just perfect and the ribs were super tender as well. Great place, we'll go again for sure as we can't wait to try the corn soup, the mac'and cheese, the gumbo, the... well, everything! Awesome place in the WI.

    Great food. The best fried chicken I have ever had. The lobster Mac and cheese was also great. Our server was really nice and really on point. Explained the menu really well, to the point I wanted to eat everything. Highly recommend!

    Have been going to Nolah for 10-12 years. It has been consistant with the high quality of tastes, never varying menu except for the days specials even though neither of the owner chefs are no longer in the kitchen. That alone is a testament to their abilities as truly great chefs know how to transfer the subtleness of their touch. Service is always top notch with wait staff well versed in all the days specials. Matthieu is especially the epitome of a great waiter. Cheers to you all. John
