I had a salad Nicoise with salmon. Salmon was dry. Waiter was very friendly. We got a table at the window which was very nice. All in all a good experience.

Great spot for casual dining. Tables nicely set apart. High ceilings and lots of windows. Good food and prompt service. Nice addition to downtown lunch spots.

As usual good service and quick seating with reservation. Disappointing that they had changed the lime tacos so now you had to buy two starters. The other version was a low cal meal perfect for a person on a Jenny Craig diet. Otherwise everything was good. But unless they bring back a 300 calorie meal I won’t be back for a while.

We requested and were given a window table. So beautiful at night with all of the lights in the office towers. Delicious chicken breast with angel hair and better than most calamari. Our server was new and inexperienced but friendly and tried hard.

We meet before each time we attend the VSO concert. The last 2 times we found the service quite slow. We enjoy the restaurant and it’s proximity to the Concert venue. The food has always been good.

My friends and I have been a number of times and each time we have found the food to be tasty, the service is very good and the view is lovely. Also, your coffee is great! Always a pleasure to eat there.

This restaurant is convenient for meeting up with a friend prior to theatre or ballet, but the food is dismal and overpriced, so really cannot be recommended. I am sure Nordstrom is just cashing in on their name to charge a lot for mediocre food and over-priced wine. I had a poor quality focaccia offering that was mostly dubious tomato sauce with some sort of sausage. My dining partner did better with the soup and two chicken tacos. There are much better options for early evening dining in downtown Vancouver than Bistro Verde.

Exceptional service by Brendan picking up on delay to certain appetizers from afar, checking the order first and then rushing to get things back on track.

Food and ambience solid as always.

Perfect place for lunch with a friend. Our server was friendly and helpful and didn't rush us. Food (big salads) came quickly and they were fresh and tasty. It was fairly quiet so we were able to talk easily. Our server recommended the chocolate cake with caramel sauce for dessert so we shared a piece and it was delicious. We will go here again!

The calamari was rubbier i asked for extra lemon did not get moms plate was ok but it was not a place I would go again especially when there are so many places to eat there I paid almost 50 with tip and l left hungry what a waste and shame

I have visited this restaurant before, but this time I really felt I was being rushed. I wasn’t asked if I wanted my sandwich at the same t8me as the soup, and there was a choice of salad or fries with the sandwich, but I wasn’t given a choice. The service wasn’t up to the normal standard. Disappointing.

We arrived Saturday evening at 7 30 and were seated promptly. The first thing we noticed was still dirty tables scattered throughout the section we were seated in. The wait began for someone to approach our table. Finally at 7 50 the waiter came over, just as I was searching open table for an alternate venue. I told the waiter we were considering leaving. We asked if he was able to serve us....he said he was. We decided to stay. Service was slow and patchy all night long. Very inexperienced, poorly trained staff. Food was very good however, only to be let down by lack of attention by staff. 2 menu items not available including one dessert. In the end we decided not to have dessert and left the restaurant. While the waiter was "apologetic", I blame management for poor training and quality control practises. Nordstrom has a good product, but only as good as the delivery. Unfortunately, I think we'll take our custom elsewhere. Not recommended at this time.

We have been to this restaurant on several occasions and enjoyed the food and the service. On this particular occasion we were getting caught up with some friends we hadn't seen in some time. The server was quick, tried to take our order before we had our coats off. Once we had finished our meal, no water or coffee refills were offered. Five minutes past that time we were advised by our server that the table was needed and we had 15 minutes to wind it up! Personally I thought this was very tacky. Upon departing I spoke to the hostess and asked her to share my comments with the Manager. I also noted that no one was waiting for a table at that time. We arrived at 11:45 a.m. with a reservation and at 1:10 we were asked to leave.

"I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friend's home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. Service was well-timed and friendly. We had requested a window table and we got that. thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our food was very delicious and Their bread pudding was out-of-this world."

Their service and quality has really dropped since they first opened this location. Upon our arrival we were rudely greeted by the hostess. Our waiter was very kind and courteous, but the table was dirty and so were the plates. In general the quality of service and food has really gone down since my previous visits when they first opened.

Great spot after shopping at our favourite store! Also, a great spot to park your husband/partner if they do not enjoy shopping! They can have a drink at the bar and watch sports while you shop!
Also, a good spot for pre-theatre as the service is fast.
The calamari, flat breads and salads are great for sharing!
The chocolate cake is to die for! It is the best chocolate cake in the city! This is worth the drive!

We really enjoy this restaurant. However, we have given it only a 3 star rating due to the service. It was friendly but very slow. We have been here 4 times, and the service has been disappointing each time. There seems to be a lack of training. Opening wine and pouring it seems to be beyond the skill set of any of the servers. Consistently given the wrong orders. There is a lack of professionalism and interest in making sure everything is alright with the customers. Basically very slapdash service.

We came in for a casual dinner after work and to celebrate a friend's birthday. Right from the moment we were seated, our server, Alex, was amazing. She was very friendly and personable, anticipated what we needed and made excellent recommendations on food and dessert. The food was excellent, especially the burrata, and the brussel sprouts. I thought the prices for drinks were a little pricey but I don't drink often, so I wouldn't know. We've come here for work lunches and always enjoy.

I was a bit disappointed by the food this time, usually it's quite good. I ordered the cilantro shrimp salad and it didn't seem very fresh and had very little dressing in it. The shrimp were over cooked and cold, I believe they are usually warm. The service was good.
