Went here for a Saturday night dinner with my wife. Everything that we had was amazing: tomato basil soup, Brussels sprouts, flank steak with potatoes au gratin, salmon niçoise, crème brûlée, and white chocolate bread pudding. The white chocolate bread pudding was especially delicious. Would definitely go back here again. Very good value for portion and quality that you get.

Food took a very long time to arrive. We were first seating and the restaurant did not seem full.

We headed here for an early lunch and arrived at 11:45 to beat the lunch rush. We had a reservation and were seated right away, in quite an empty restaurant. Given that, we were surprised when our order took almost 25-30 minutes to arrive. In that time our waitress never once came to check on us. When our orders did come, each individuals plate came at a different time, creating an awkward “to eat or not to eat” situation.

At the end of the meal we let our waitress know we were surprised our food had taken so long and she attributed it to the “busyness”, which we found surprising given the emptiness of the restaurant when we arrived. Overall, the service was poor, and the food was underwhelming and overpriced.

Food was great. Always love it here. Server didn’t come back around for a coffee fill up but otherwise it was all good.

Always a satisfying experience.
Server was very friendly & efficient. Food excellent. Since I usually come at 11:00 a.m. my only complaint is that it seems everyone gets off to a slow start.

Server was almost rude in rushing us to place our order. Didn't ask for our beverage order so we drank water. The host was very sweet so it balanced out. Food was decent. Fresh and well-prepared.

This was my first visit, my guest suggested the location. I have always loved the Nordstrom Cafe in Seattle so thought I would give it a try. I like that it is full seating and not cafeteria style like in Seattle. Food was good (fries were cold) and service was excellent, very attentive. I would come back but would not classify this as a place for a business lunch perhaps a casual lunch with a with a friend. Lovely atmosphere with all the windows and natural light.

Our server was excellent and the food was good and we had a nice lunch. The room could be a bit cosier. The view is excellent as we had a corner window table.

Our flight was cancelled and we stayed at the Westin Wall for the night. Since it was Chinese New Year and most restaurants were packed we thought we would try The Apron out. Was on Open Table and did not realize this place belonged to the hotel. Not to busy when we arrived and were seated in a nice cozy corner on the beach seats. We were both up to watch the hockey so that suited us perfectly. There were a choice of other tables if you did not want to see the tv. I had the spaghetti bolognese which came in a large warm bowl with a very generous helping of fresh grated Parmesan. The sauce was very plentiful and very tasty, much better than I thought it would be. Very hearty tomato flavour without the acidic taste you sometimes get, nice and rich tasting. Loved it. My husband had the Beef cheeks with yam gnocchi which was also excellent. Lots of been in a rich thickish broth, (between a broth and soup thickness), with yam gnocchi. This too was excellent, the beef cheeks were tender and tasty as were the gnocchi. We were very surprised that an airport type hotel had such excellent food, well priced and very good service. We stay at this hotel a lot, but never had the dinners. Will certainly try them again.

It was Valentine’s Day and my friends birthday. I made the reservation for a window seat, which we received but unfortunately we were seated in front of the kitchen.
I felt like no special notice was made to the special occasion. Our server was quick to take our payment but left without clearing our plates.
We decided to stay a little longer and have dessert and wine. We flagged down Chase ( who was awesome and helpful) since our server had disappeared. He found as a server to help us continue with our dessert and it was great.

Delicious food. Great service. Nice windows! Entree servings quite small. Complimentary bread and butter or mini appetizer would have been appreciated!

I was really disappointed in the salad I ordered, I believe it was a chicken and fig salad with cheese. The chicken on the outside was too crisp and tasted of oil, three small pieces, there was barely any cheese, the dressing was uninspiring and skimpy, I ordered more, I did not get good value for the cost I paid. Too much for so little that wasn't very tasty. I was going to bring my husband for Valentines Day and I have changed my mind. I was looking forward to introducing the Bistro to him, but I am going to take him elsewhere. What saved it was the view, and the wonderful server we had. Carol Siebert

Bathed in natural light (even when grey rainy Vancouver makes her appearance) with inspired views of architectural gems and good people watching, it's a great room overall. Our server, Alok, made our lunch experience even more delightful. I'd specifically request his service in future. Food inventive, inviting and delish!

When we come to downtown to enjoy the Vancouver Art Gallery, we always start with a meal at Bistro Verde. Service is always warm and gracious, food is lovely with something for everyone, excellent value, great view of Robson Square. An elevator ride to the street, and we are off to the gallery. Highly recommended for a high quality, casual meal.
