Bistro Verde - Nordstrom Pacific Centre
Bistro Verde is located in the heart of downtown Vancouver on the third floor of Nordstrom Pacific Centre with floor to ceiling windows overlooking Robson square and the Vancouver Art Gallery.
Scratch made fare, craft cocktails and a wine and beer list with great local gems make this a destination restaurant for any occasion.

Sunday 11am - 9pm
Monday - Friday: 3pm-6pm & 8pm-close
I usually bring my team or clients because I like the ambience but the food is ok. One of my favourite dishes is the Brussels sprouts frites - unfortunately today’s version was not that great - not too many Brussels sprouts mostly leaves and mostly burnt - I never complained about it - usually it is quite good but today was blackened sprouts
Overall it was a very aged experience and the Bistro met my expectations.
The food and drinks are shockingly good! Definitely a better option than Earls, Joey’s, etc.
Never disappoints! Roma tomato soup is luscious as usual. I have tried to reproduce at home but it always pales in comparison.
a great restaurant that I will visit again as it is close to my office.
Always delighted with the food, service and entire experience. So amazed this restaurant is within a department store!
Beautiful view of Robson Plaza, Art Gallery and Court House. The food is very good and the service is professional and friendly.
Great view of Robson square and the Vancouver art gallery. Food was fine, albeit a little over-priced, but then it is part of Nordstrom...
Good over all. Waiter was very attentive.
Coffee was lukewarm
Server was lovely but not as attentive as we wished
I have visited this restaurant since it first opened. Just loved the Chili prawn pasta. Service always very good. However, my recent visit was very poor the service was terrible. Lots of mistakes. Disappointed to find that the menu has changed and that they have replaced the Chilli prawn pasta with the prawn chorizo sausage pasta. This had very little taste and was unappetising. So, not sure about revisiting Verde in the future.
I was pleasantly surprised. Really enjoyed my lunch. Service Good, staff friendly and helpful.
Service was fast and friendly but food was ordinary to mediocre. Drinks were very good however
This was a meeting with business friends. I had difficulty making a reservation by phone and finally used Open Table which was excellent. I was warmly received and seated and offered a drink while I waited. When they arrived we were well attended and our order taken. The choice of food was good and was soon served to us. We stayed quite some time after finishing our meal as we had much to discuss and were not interrupted or made to feel that we should go. Altogether a very enjoyable experience.
A $9 salad，but looks like something leftover rather than a dish
We had a lovely lunch with a beet salad and fresh halibut!
I often stop in at the Bistro and have had great meals and serv
This a very convenient restaurant to go to when down town. We always enjoy the food and ambiance. Only thing that is troublesome is service can be slow!!
Food and service as always was exceptional and really appreciate the great service we receive from Randy and Marianne.
Was great! Food was awesome love the fries and enjoy the volume level a lot - very comfortable for catching up
Casual place to sit and recharge after shopping at Nordstrom. Good food and good service.
Arrived 15 mins early and pleasantly taken to window seat Waiter pleasant when around but left long periods before checking on order and dessert One dessert menu so he would gain time away while we took turns reading it. Favorite fig salad no longer on menu. Service reflected in 8% tip we left .
It was okay. The servers were good, the food was okay. I usually sit at the bar and watch sports-it is great for that. A little disappointed that we reserved and ended up right by the kitchen, when the restaurant wasn't full. We would have asked to be moved but the other people we were meeting were already there and we didn't want to make it an issue.
Recommend reservations and ask for a window seat.
Great for watching what is happening down at street level. Look over to Robson Square and the Art Gallery. A very convenient location for attending events at UBC Robson Sq. or the Art Gallery. We had a light dinner meal - a calamari and a cilantro lime shrimp salad. Good flavours in the calamari. The tortilla crisps in the salad were very, very thin and a challenge to eat, but overall salad was perfect in quantity and taste.
Service was good - we were eating early evening and the restaurant was not full initially.
Business over breakfast. Underwhelmed by the breakfast sandwich which looked like diner food and everything was greasy! Especially the potatoes. I had asked for a table with some privacy (low traffic) but they wanted to put us by the kitchen. I asked to be moved since half the restaurant was still empty. Server brought me cream instead of milk, didn’t come back till coffee was stone cold. Then no sugar on the table so I didn’t touch my coffee. No water on the table to drink. Barely checked in. Didn’t ask if we were enjoying our meal. No refills were offered on our beverages or ever brought over while other tables were topped up. We had to wait a good 15 minutes before they came to pick up our payment. There was honestly NOTHING good about this visit!
Nice views from table windows. Reasonable food..not gourmet but certainly good. Noice level not too bad...can be a loud room but tables by the window seem to be quieter. Enjoy Verde for lunch with an art gallery visit. Have been several times.
Excellent, attentive and un hurried service and good food.
Sunday lunch. I have a mixed review of this place. Beautiful views overlooking the law courts and art gallery, and the food was quite good for the price. However, room was not full yet the service was slow and disorganized. There were many servers so not sure why this happened.
Wine was more expensive than the food. We were there at 6 pm on a weeknight. It wasn’t at all busy but the staff were more interested in chatting amongst themselves then in serving us. The crab roll was tasteless.
My sister and I first discovered Nordstrom's restaurants while on a shopping trip to Seattle. We were delighted to find a venue that served good, fresh food with attractive plating in a relaxed, comfortable and elegant setting. I was delighted to find the Bistro Verde just across the street from the Vancouver Art Gallery, which I enjoy visiting when in the city. Every time I have lunch at Nordstrom I am impressed by how consistently good the meals and service are. The maple apple crisp makes a delicious accompaniment to afternoon coffee.
Went here for a Saturday night dinner with my wife. Everything that we had was amazing: tomato basil soup, Brussels sprouts, flank steak with potatoes au gratin, salmon niçoise, crème brûlée, and white chocolate bread pudding. The white chocolate bread pudding was especially delicious. Would definitely go back here again. Very good value for portion and quality that you get.
Food took a very long time to arrive. We were first seating and the restaurant did not seem full.
The location is great, the venue is wide open and bright , the energy is good.
Great place for business lunch. Consistently good tasting food. Reservation is recommended for lunch.
Been coming to this Bistro for awhile with friends n never been disappointed
with the service and food . Only complaint I have is the noise level, very loud!
Will recommend to my friends /visitors.
We headed here for an early lunch and arrived at 11:45 to beat the lunch rush. We had a reservation and were seated right away, in quite an empty restaurant. Given that, we were surprised when our order took almost 25-30 minutes to arrive. In that time our waitress never once came to check on us. When our orders did come, each individuals plate came at a different time, creating an awkward “to eat or not to eat” situation.
At the end of the meal we let our waitress know we were surprised our food had taken so long and she attributed it to the “busyness”, which we found surprising given the emptiness of the restaurant when we arrived. Overall, the service was poor, and the food was underwhelming and overpriced.
Great service, not intrusive but attentive none the less. This is hard to find
Food was great. Always love it here. Server didn’t come back around for a coffee fill up but otherwise it was all good.
Great service at the bar during lunch hour. Attentive but not intrusive which I appreciate. Food was good and consistent as usual.
Always a satisfying experience.
Server was very friendly & efficient. Food excellent. Since I usually come at 11:00 a.m. my only complaint is that it seems everyone gets off to a slow start.
