   Service was good but food was definitely not. Frosted flake French toast was dry and lacked flavour, and the breakfast burger was bland with slimy guacamole. Waste of $$. Wouldn’t recommend these items whatsoever.

   Marlow was fantastic. Good blend of personality and being there when we needed her. We had a nice spot by the fireplace, it was easy to talk with my wife and with all the soft surfaces and textures the overall noise level was perfect. Food was spot on and we enjoyed our evening.

    Four of us enjoyed a quiet Saturday brunch in a room for 12, which made conversation easy. I had mentioned a birthday in my reservation and after our mains, the birthday girl was delighted with a small, complimentary crème brûlée. Service was good but not intrusive. We will definitely be back.

    Although the price is higher here the food was amazing, the cocktails were excellent, we had great service and I loved the atmosphere. I would definitely come back and recommend.

    Duck was tough Schnitzel was dry and tough Brussel sprouts were mediocre Service was a bit standoffish and chilly. Pricing is significantly more than other dining establishments and the quality didn’t match the price.

    We were not of the understanding from the website that our option was brunch only when we booked. We were surprised that it was that. We all would have preferred if we had the option (esp on a Sat) to choose from a lunch menu or a brunch menu. Perhaps it was the larger groups that came in that swayed that? Not sure but thought uou would like the feedback. We would not return for a lunch on a weekend knowing this now.

    The cost does not represent adequate food Very small portion quarter of a potato 3 carrots with stems Salad extra $14 terrible and bread with the meal definitely should be included not charged extra Nice hostess and waitress but sadly that’s where it ends Sorry I really hoped for better spending 140$ was not worth it.

    Live singer for a delicious brunch! I highly recommend their specialty Shakshuka. It was a lovely Mediterranean tomato based egg dish with fresh sourdough bread. I added bacon on the side which was a wonderful accompaniment. The staff and management were extremely kind and attentive.

    My elderly parents were treated like royalty. They were accommodated by the front entrance and warm corner. The staff was amazing, with smiles and promptness. 🌹

    First visit. Reservations were for anniversary celebration which was mentioned on reservation. Arrived and was seated in a separate room with 4 tables (no other patrons were seated or refused to sit in this room). We were by our selves Friday evening. Didnt hear any music, see any other people or enjoy the atmosphere being secluded. No mention by hostess or server about anniversary. Not sure why you ask on reservation if your out for a special occasion? We planned and expected a special evening. Probably wouldn’t come out of town again.

    We made reservations for 9:15pm and we’re promptly greeted when upon entry. The staff was friendly and it was very lovely inside the space, we had a bottle of Pinot Grigio alongside our meal. I had the chicken special, my partner had the penne and everything was delicious. Our dessert was very tasty as well, anyone looking for a great date night out should for sure consider coming to Blackshop! Thank you for a lovely Valentines experience.

    Valentines dinner menu was not worth it. $90 for small portions. The waitress was new and didn't even ask us for drinks. Felt like we were in a cafeteria. Wont be back.

    The wait staff was very attentive and very efficient. The food from start to finish was scrumptious. It was a full house but the wait staff handled everything superbly and there were no long waits between courses. I will certainly be going back.
