    We had gone to this restaurant on Father's Day for brunch and had an awful experience. We decided to give it a second chance for dinner. There is a reason they have so many open reservation availability on short notice. This time was worst than the last. Ordered the brussels sprouts and spring rolls. They were just OK, not as good as the last time (which was the highlight of my meal on Father's Day). They serve their adult beverages in the big plastic cups they serve water and soda in. When I asked for a second, the server took my cup and straw and made the second drink in it....pretty classless. I appreciate my cocktails in an adult GLASS and expect a fresh one for each drink. It's not like it's a free refill. We ordered the spice crusted salmon for dinner. Why bother to ask how we want it prepared if it's not going to be served as requested? I asked for well done and it was raw inside. My husband's potatoes were dark and crispy and mine were mushy. I told the server my salmon was raw inside and her response was: "I didn't cook it." She asked what I wanted her to do with it and at that point, I was done with this place and said I wanted nothing. She did come back and I told her I never said she cooked it and she apologized. We asked for the check. The owner came over and asked how the food was and I told him it was gross. I told him we were there before and it is just as bad as the first time. He said he would have made it right, but after the server's snotty comment, I was completely turned off. He said he hopes we'll give them a second chance and I said this was their second chance and we won't be back. I tried to upload a picture of the raw salmon, but Open Table is giving an error. Do yourself a favor and eat someplace else!

    We came here for our anniversary dinner and unfortunately it was disappointing. We got a few apps, calamari, crab/shrimp cake and ahi tuna. The calamari and crab cake just tasted bland and fried. The tuna was good except the Wasabi sauce was way too hot and there must have been star of anise somewhere in the dish bc the last bite was crunchy and tasted like I had a mouthful of licorice. I got the duck - it had good flavor but was a little chewy. The description called for plum sauce but there were just a mound of crasins mixed in with the corn and fried rice. My husband got the surf and turf and was just not impressed. Our server was nice. Be careful of the tables, it seemed like they were painted black at one point on the edges so my husband had to take his jacket off as to not ruin it. We only noticed this because we were wiping down the table with a wipe because we had our child with us. I knew the prices were too good to be true here. This could probably be suitable for an early 20s crowd but we will not be returning.

    Rick was an excellent server. And, the manager as always, was attentive & remembered us from previous visit, even though it had been a while. The duck & ribeye were delicious, as were the sides. The music from the bar was a little loud, as was the private party near the patio, but it still made for an enjoyable evening.

    We had lamb, scallops, and steak, and each was cooked perfectly, absolutely delicious, and the sides and dessert were great. Service was great: friendly and correct without interrupting us. A wonderful evening!

    Although I made reservations more than a week in advance and there only four of us, we were seated in what I could only describe as the overflow area. Plenty of folks sitting in the main dining area… Just not us. How do I secure a table in the main dining area versus what certainly felt like secondary space since there was only us and one other table with two folks?

    The salmon was to be cooked medium but was served to me raw. I sent it back and when returned it was mostly medium rare to medium and very rare in the center. I did not return it again as I wanted to finish eating with the rest of the group. This is unusual for this restaurant as past meals have always been excellent. I would still recommend them as the food received by the rest of the group was very good.

    The food was great and the server was very polite. We sat in a booth at the bar, so we were served by the bartender. She did well considering the volume of work she was required to handle. We did ask for refills. The food was great and offered a fair price. My wife had an entree, beer and glass of wine. The total with tip was $76. The atmosphere was comfortable and noise level was acceptable. Good experience overall.

    Only thing that was a problem about my meal was the broccoli. The broccoli came out cold, hard, unseasoned and just down right unenjoyable. There was no type of action taken to correct the situation neither which is pretty alarming for the price of the food.

    Unusually good food! Salmon best hubby has had in a long time! Chicken with feta was so good I didn't want to leave any! Dessert options amazing. Service was personal and efficient! Our new favorite restaurant!

    From the moment we entered the restaurant, we were delighted. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our server was superb and so thoughtful. The food outstanding and the presentation lovely. The only hitch was an incredibly loud man in the next booth who kept shouting “incredible.” He made conversation a challenge until his food came. Then he was busy. This is one of my favorite restaurants.

    The server kept interrupting us to make sure "everything was ok". That is not appropriate. Probably happened 4 times during our short lunch. Please train them to observe and keep a watch out. We would not be in a deep conversation if something was wrong or we needed something.

    Above average steakhouse dinner… my husband and I both had the filet and ribeye, both cooked well to our request but the flavor was average. The balsamic reduction they served with it was good so it made up for some of the lack of flavor. We also ordered the asparagus and Fries as sides. The asparagus was cooked nicely but we only received 4 pieces and the fries were unseasoned frozen waffle fries. If I’m paying $40-$50 for a steak dinner I would appreciate the sides to be somewhat up to par. I also ordered the ceasar salad which I would give a 10/10.. I would go back to try their other sides. Service was great, our server was friendly and attentive!

    We had a business prospect and his spouse out at the BLEU. The Goat Cheese Crusted Chicken was so very good. I ate every last bite! The sauce over the chicken was incredible! Every detail was perfect! My husband had the salmon and said it was also exquisite! We will definitely go back. We have been going there for years but they have upped their game and I will make this my favorite!

    After reading the reviews, I wondered if we went to the wrong place because our experience was nothing like the exceptional reviews. Asked the server if there were any drink specials for Father's Day. She said $5 mimosas. We ordered 2. She then came back and say "they" changed it and the mimosas are $7. Our entrees came out before our appetizers. The fried brussels sprouts were tasty, but way too much oil. The "grilled" shrimp was not grilled at all and more like poached. Only 4 shrimp....most places give you 6. Asked if we could have the omelette made with egg whites. Server wasn't sure, but said she would ask. Never came back and confirmed, but it did show up made with egg whites, but was really flavorless. Salad was just plain old bagged salad. Twice someone came to our table to serve us someone else's food. We were out of there in less than an hour. Skipped dessert here and went to a local coffee shop. Should have skipped the meal and went straight to the coffee shop.

    Bleu is a restaurant with a French name but the food has a definite Asian influence using primarily vegetables, seasonings and sauces that are Asian. The food is good and the service reasonable though not especially attentive. Tables are close so the noise level is high. While certainly worth a visit, I wouldn’t recommend it for an intimate romantic dinner.

    I have never had a bad experience at Bleu, in fact it is my business go to location. The food, service and atmosphere are always top notch and consistent. In their defense it was Wake Forest graduation, however, other guests are just as important. First, the floors were so super slick the 4 of us almost went down, trying to go to the restroom. Then we felt rushed the entire time we were there but toward the end of our lunch, we were extremely rushed and had our table pushed while my friend was still sitting in her seat trying to get up fast enough but couldn't and was pinned between the table and sitting in her chair. The chair leg was caught in the groove of the floor tile, she was embarrassed. When the table was shoved my other friend at the table had something sharp connected to the underside of the table cut her leg. The entire time we were trying to move so he could move our table over to make room to expand the neighboring table for a large party. Moving our table was understandable, unable to wait for us to get up and out of the way was not. We felt like we should have just been told to leave since they needed our space. It really put a damper ending to a really nice get together for a friend who unexpectedly had to leave her job to care for aging parents. I know people have bad days or stress loads to make everything go smooth, but this was just not right.

    Surprised my wife with a Mother’s Day dinner…Restaurant is lovely service is lovely but there was no mention of a pre-fixed menu when literally all I wanted was a steak and a side of French fries….ordered the smoked wings as an entree and although my wife was very pleased with her meal (scallops)…those were..by far…the worst order of wings I’ve ever had…they were hard fried…if you smoked them I certainly couldn’t tell..and still had feather strings on most of them…my order being such a small part of the bill and my wife being so pleased, I chose not to complain….But man that entire experience for me was incredibly disappointing..Unfortunately I won’t be coming back..
