Views of the Paramount sign on Washington Street reminds one of a little Times Square. Floor to ceiling blu lights and all around glass windows make a perfect ambience to celebrate a special occasion and act as a perfect background for pictures. Enjoy our fresh seasonal menu like our Sirloin Steak and Rack of Lamb. Vegan and vegetarian options are also available and it’s very gluten free friendly.Blu Restaurant and Bar is located on the 4th Floor of the Ritz Carlton Complex, inside of EquinoxSports Club. WINDOW SEATING IS NOT RESERVABLE AND GUARANTEED, IT’S FIRST COME FIRST SERVED. We went to Blu before a show and they were aware that we had to be out of there by a certain time. Our server was fantastic. We never had to wait for a drink or to place our order. The food was very good and the views of the from the 4th floor were pretty cool!! I'd definitely recommend Blu for a pre-show dinner.

We shared the cauliflower popcorn appetizer. The sauce gave it a very nice “kick”. Flavorful. The seared scallops were deliciously seasoned. The lobster risotto was decadent. Service was excellent. It was a very pleasant experience for our first dinner in Boston.

I had never had the pleasure of dining at Blu before. The reviews and pictures online looked very positive. I wanted to go to a place that had a lot of atmosphere and was quiet enough that my dinner companion and I could actually hear each other speak. When we were shown to our table I was quite literally blown away by the amazing view. Blu overlooks the theater district in Boston and at night when everything lights up it looks absolutely gorgeous. The wait staff was top notch, incredibly polite, attentive but unobtrusive. The food was prepared quickly and seemed to be served in no time at all. When the dishes did arrive they were delectable, so tasty and given a lovely presentation on the plate. I had a wonderful time with my companion and we lingered for quite a while chatting and soaking up the wonderful atmosphere. The dining area was nice and quiet and very conducive to intimate conversation. When it came time to catch our movie I almost didn't want to leave. I cannot recommend Blu highly enough. It's an amazing fine dining experience and I would go there again in a heartbeat.

Everything about this restaurant is perfect. I had the rack of lamb that was cooked to perfection. I told our waiter Val, who was outstanding, that I loved mint jelly with my lamb. He immediately went into the kitchen and came out with some. My husband had the scallops. Delicious! Sat by the window and loved the view of Boston. We will definitely go back and ask for Val!
