   Clam chowder was excellent. crab dip so and so. The seafood pasta was a little dry for my liking and my wife had the cod dinner which was okay. Service was excellent, drinks great but the price of entrees was a bit steep overall.

   The kitchen prepared two very nice plates, but we had to wait 40 minutes for them to appear on our table, by which time they had lost the shine of freshness-- had spent too long under a heat lamp? But it was Mothers' Day.

   We went for the Mother’s Day brunch. The food was very good, I had the salmon. Dillon our server did an excellent job, was very attentive and made our day feel extra special.

   Honestly I was very disappointed in the boathouse. Paying 10$ for luke warm beer , extremely slow service and extremely over cooked sea food. Not what I was expecting pay premium for dinner.

   Service was extremely slow. Ordered our food at approx 2:10 and took an hour for it to come out. Restaurant wasn’t busy at all. It shouldn’t take 2 hours for 3 people to eat lunch when you know what you want and order right away

    The friend who had the fish and chips said the meal was very good and I find that that dish can be hit or miss at some restaurants - but not at the Boathouse. I ordered the tuna poke bowl and it was fabulous! I would definitely order it again. It was light and tasty with fresh ingredients; quite filling too. The other friend had the 3-cheese omelette and she said it was good. We were seated at a window table on the lower level; water view and the clouds cleared but screens were handy in case shade was needed (it wasn't). It was a quiet area but since it was next to the door leading to the outside patio, it might be a busy and noisy spot to sit during patio-season.

    Two of us, each requested poached egg hard, both got medium, didn't bother sending back b/c not sure how efficiently and effectively could be corrected, eg, delay, rest of food gets cold while eggs replaces

    Our evening was so exceptionally good - the setting was great, the food was so very good, the wine was nice and cold - but, it must be said that our server was the best ever - she managed to get me something that wasn't on the menu at dinner anymore, I booked our 'birthday' dinner here because of the tuna tacos - they weren't on the menu anymore - but I got 'em, YAY!!! so good. Everything was good! Perfect, actually. THANK YOU.

    We were 45 mins early for our reservation and we popped by to see if there was any way to get in early. It was an instant yes! Absolutely amazing for a Saturday night! Then we were escorted to a table overlooking the water. Breathtaking! Our server we fantastic! Enjoyed everything! Our son loved the keylime pie! Can’t say enough about this Boathouse location.     Dylan was our server and he was excellent; timely service, did not rush us, made great recommendations. Unfortunately the renovations underway at the entryway made for a few periods of very loud noise, hammering, etc. Will definitely return to the Boathouse and high recommend the roasted oysters, and Chop Chop Seafood salad.

    Our service was good as well as the food but that was it, just good. As for the value due to just good service and food the amount paid was under valued in my opinion. Now adays people want more for what they are paying and that can be just as easy as a kind attentive server and a hot clean plated meal. All three of these together make for value added dining and the Boathouse was not up to snuff.

    Super friendly bartender and good meal. Chowder soup is just outstanding and the reason I came there. Little expensive for what you get - but that is how it goes these days.

    Because of Valentine’s Day, we were only able to order from the set menu. My boyfriend was not too happy with the 6oz sirloin with lobster tail. The steak was a bit rubbery even though it was cooked the way he wanted. I ordered the mix seafood grill which was great. When we got served with bread, there was no cutlery provided. Only when the appetizers were served and the buser was asked that we got the cutlery.

    I had the Happy Hour sliders and was dissapointed. The chicken was battered and I would rather have three tiny ones apposed to the two large ones. Just my opinion.

    Came for brunch on New Year’s Day and the food was great!!! I will definitely come back again. Service towards the end of our brunch was slow that was the only negative thing. Had to wait 20 min for the waitress to come back.

    Firstly, let me say the food was outstanding. Service was so-so, we waited a long time to get served but this was probably due to being December 31st. A lot of menu items were not available even though this was a fixed menu with reservations. We had to change what we wanted at various points because we were not informed right away that the items were not available. Again, food was delicious, but not being able to order what we wanted (we checked the menu prior to actually reserving) and slow service was very disappointing.

    We enjoyed a beautiful window table with fabulous view of the river. The server was very upbeat and friendly. All 4 of us were very happy with our 3 course meal selections. The portion sizes were perfect and the food was absolutely delicious. We left feeling very happy with our choice of The Boathouse, New West for New Year's Eve.

    Went there for Christmas Dinner, waitress was not attentive & rude, food was cold, bland & not enjoyable. When we booked, it was listed as $55.00 per person and then was changed to $75.00. All around, not a great experience.
