The food was inconsistent. Some dishes were good and some were overcooked. Our seafood paella was overcooked, which made the seafood rubbery. Our server didn't bother serving us the paella to our plates and just left us the whole pan and walked away; same with the pitcher of Sangria we ordered. The red sangria was good, but it was impossible to pour from that ceramic pitcher without making a mess. The pulpo tapas was good, the pear salad and meat tapas ordered were also good. We came for the flamenco and noted that in our reservation. When we got to our table I asked about that and was told it's every other Thursday and sometimes they cancel, so no flamenco. It would have been nice if they told me that after reading the notes in my reservation since that was the reason we went on that specific day. The food wasn't impressive enough for me to rush back, and since I can't reliably determine when there will be flamenco without having to call each time...I don't think we will be going back soon.

The food was very flavorful, the best paella we’ve had around the area. Highly recommended if you enjoy good food and amazing flavors. The service is great, and the food is ready fast.

Two friends and I had dinner here recently. The food was quite tasty. We had the octopus (YUM), the cocktail meatballs (really tasty), the seared tuna with caramalized onions (good), and the spinach (which I didn't try), and I had the fish soup which was a generous portion with salmon, calamari, and shrimp. The bread was fresh and warm and we all used it to sop up the sauce from the meatballs. It doesn't sound like a lot of food but the three of us were quite satisfied and the bill came to about 40 each before the tip. Two of us had drinks. The restaurant is small and we sat at a round table by the door, which was open (probably to facilitate serving those who were sitting outside). I would have prefered a more air conditioned setting, but it is what it is. It was a bit noisy at times. I believe there was a TV on the wall.

The boquerones are just one reason we come back to bodega. Also, the food seems authentic Spanish cuisine and is very reasonably priced.
