We love this place and have been coming for many years. Amazing Indian food and fantastic service.
The food was good. If your craving Indian food a good place to pop into. Atmosphere not the best. They ran out of quite a few things. No alcohol except for beer. Could be COVID issues. Prices very reasonable.
Good food, staff friendly and polite. The Butter Chicken is awesome but the curries are very good also. Easy to order online if you don't want to dine in. The beef samosas are delicious. Value for money, excellent.
By far the best Indian restaurant we have ever been to. Food was outright amazing. Service was top notch. Clean. Followed all covid protocols. Can't wait to go back
Service was terrible. We didn’t get water until 30 mins in. Was left alone with appetizers for 1 hour. Had to go hunting for the wait staff most of the time. Restaurant was overall unclean. Washrooms were disgusting. Sinks hadn’t been cleaned in days. Soap dispenser wasn’t being used. Paper towel dispenser wasn’t being used. Lights haven’t been dusted in ages. Everything was overpriced and sweet. Even the spicy foods were sweet. Had to give back our biryani because it was sour. Overall a pretty bad experience and won’t be coming back again.
Great food and menu selection
Really enjoyed everything but especially the tikka chicken
Great food - made fresh to order
Raj (the owner) is always pleasant and personable. I have been coming there for the last 3 years and it always leaves a lasting impression.
Always a great meal
Good variety of food and great service. Terrace is small on the sidewalk but very pleasant and shaded effectively with umbrellas.
This is the best Indian Restaurant I have ever been to by a long shot. Server was fantastic. We asked for a reccomendation, he suggested a few dishes + an additional appetizer. We had the Beef Samosas, the Butter Chicken with Rice, The Vindaloo with Garlic Naan and the Tandoori Chicken Wings. For every bite we took of a new food the we were just shocked by how amazing it was. The Tandoori Chicken Wings completely ruined regular chicken wings for me now because I can never have anything else ever again they were that good, and the Butter Chicken my boyfriend cited as the best dish he had in years. Server was fantastic - super friendly and chatty, refilled our water plenty, gave great reccomendations. Service was incredibly fast but they still gave us space to finish our appetizers before the meal came. Overall one of the best restaurants I have been to in a while. Patio is very average as it really is meant to be an indoor dining restaurant but its in a quiet spot so was still great.
Restaurant was cold .. most people kept their outdoor jackets on.. food was pretty good.. so was service .. ambiance was mediocre
Best Indian I’ve ever had! Go for the food and you won’t be dissapoonted
The Team did an excellent job accommodating us. All protocols are in place and felt very safe to be there. The food was delicious; very flavourful and portions are generous. Well done despite all current restrictions in place.
It had been years since I'd been to Bombay Bhel. I used to be a a lunch regular but then moved job locations and hadn't been back since. As I remembered, the food was incredible, service polite, friendly, prompt, and considerate. It's pricy but really the best curries I've had anywhere. Really great from start to finish.
We were seated very promptly based on our reservation time. Sanitizer when you enter the restaurant is available, all staff wearing face masks, every table is spaced out more than 8 ft apart, and sanitizer also available on our table. Everything from start to finish was perfect
Amazing first meal after covid re-opening. Sanitizer at the door and at the table. Our servers name was Jaspreet and she was such a sweetheart. She followed all safety protocols. Food was out of this world. Beef samosa was mouth watering. The butter chicken definitely lives up to the hype if Toronto's BEST Butter Chicken.
Excellent food, excellent service and great value!
Spicy food. Good value for the price. Service could be better.
Food was amazing and the service was great.
It was clean and nice to see hand sanitizer all around.
Can’t wait to go again.
Wow. The service AND food was amazing. It was our first time out since the Covid-19 shutdown. The server was polite and gave tons of suggestions. Sanitizer as soon as you entered. Restaurant was spotless. The menu was a single use. Tables had santizer. New and updated menu. The Pav Bhaji was sensational. They even had Doubles, which are probably the best I've had in the GTA. Music was a good vibe.
Decent Indian restaurant. The tables on the parking. The food is not fancy but tasty. Overall - if you are looking for cheap place to sit in - this is it.
It was nice and not too hot when we were there, but the blaring 90s pop music may not be for everyone.
Services is excellent. Food is amazing and authentic. Need to go back to try other food on the menu!! Must go!!!
Went for a casual date night and we were pleasantly surprised with this hidden gem. Amazing service, even better food.
Lamb biryani wow. Butter chicken wow. Chilli chicken wow.... All with garlic naan... Best restaurant ever
Excellent food and good service.
They have butter chicken samosa's on a hidden menu. You have to ask for them. UNREAL.
Butter chicken samosa are amazing. Followed by a hakka style chilli chicken and butter chicken. Both being easily the best we have ever had. Garlic naan is so fresh. Might be the best Indian food we have ever had
Very cold inside restaurant
Absolutely lovely. Food, service, ambiance was all on point ... I will definitely be back
The rice was a little undercooked. The garlic naan was great. Good portion. Prefer the goat curry to lamb vindaloo.
Food is good as usual. Their beef samosas is pretty much why we go there. Love their usual dishes like Tikka Masala (chicken, shrimp, lamb). Our waitress was a bit of an air head. She rarely came by and we waited long to place an order or receive napkins, utensils, etc. Last time we were there, same waitress, same service level no matter how small or large the group size! She would give the water to another table when we ordered the water! The food would arrive and we would have no utensils. We ordered Indian beer as we wanted authentic Indian beer but they gave us an "Indian" beer made in Toronto. Don't waste your money on alcohol in this restaurant.
Had to go 2 nights in a row. Yes, that's how good it was the first time. Hands down the best butter chicken EVER
Lamb Biryani, Butter Chicken , garlic naan... Wow. Absolutely mouthwatering.
Wonderful food, very tasty. Lovely decor, and great service.
Food, ambience, and everything was great. We were in no means in a rush, but the service (being greeted, getting water refills, receiving the bill, etc.) all took at least 2-3 times longer than any other restaurant we've been to, and we went at a time that there was only about 6 others in the restaurant. Overall, great food!!
Lamb Biryani was so flavorful and tender. Butter chicken is easily the best I have EVER had... With garlic naan
What a great surprise. We didn't have much expectations but it turned out to be one of the best Indian restaurants I ever visited. Very authentic.
Great food with amazing service. And the ambiance is very nice.
