Regionally inclined Punjabi cuisine is the main draw at this incongruously located Indian (one of eight branches worldwide), pitched beneath a vast block of flats. Having undergone a major refurbishment, the restaurant has emerged with a polished bar area decked out in dark walnut, while the dining room has been brightened up with cream walls, rich gold fabrics and statement glass chandeliers giving off a warm glow. Dishes on the revamped menu are absolutely faultless – witness crisp shreds of okra fried in the lightest of batters, perfect mouthfuls of tandoor-grilled chicken tikka, and juicy jumbo prawns expertly roasted in a clay oven. The meat in both our dishes was dried out, perhaps overcooked. It was obviously added to the sauce after pre-cooking. The sauce was interesting and rather mild for their “hot” sauce. Our other sauce was nice. The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere to it.

Overall pleasant atmosphere and food was good. My girlfriend is dairy free and they didn’t really seem confident of dealing with that but we were able to order DF options but just seemed like we had to drive that process and suggest them from the menu.

Third rate experience, the food is very bad. Dal Makhani was made in 2 hrs in pressure cooker ,the manager infact accepted that . Please please dont go to that place at all . Vegetarian platter was also very bad . I will. Never advise to go there

Excellent food, good ambiance and nice overall experience. However, service was not very good. It took over 40 minutes to get our food. The manager was amazing. He apologized and carried out the service. I would definitely visit again and again!

I had lunch at the restaurant yesterday. My lunch guests were both Indian Jains, so we had a strict veg lunch. It was absolutely delicious and the servcie was superb.
