Well, this is the only restaurant that I go to in Calgary and it is the closest thing from a restaurant in Italy. So I do not need to talk about the quality of the food and atmosphere. But one aspect that has always caught my attention in all the years that I go to Bonterra is how it diverts from other restaurants in regards to the server's attire. Everyone is conservatively dressed, and the focus is on the quality of food and service.

What a great little spot The food was fantastic and service great. Who knew the patio was such a great location, I never would have thought to come here for patio dining. Now I wish more places had such a cozy, comfy environment for a patio.

We loved the starters (split pea soup and whipped ricotta) and well as our dessert (the best chocolate cake), however, neither myself nor my husband were impressed by the main dishes that were ordered (pork tenderloin special & short rib). We found they lacked seasoning (carrots were a bit too hard and pork was fatty).

Relaxing and great food. Staff were all very good and attentive.

It was such a lovely dinner and I had checked off that we were there for an anniversary when booking the table and didn't think anything of it. When we arrived they gave us champagne and were so lovely and wished us a happy anniversary. The food and service here are on another level. We will be coming back for sure.

I was delighted with the food and service. I’m celiac and they were able to cook up some gluten free pasta for my delicious bolognese sauce.

Food was absolutely delicious! My husband says it’s the best Caesar Salad he’s ever had.

This is in our top 5 best restaurants in Calgary! We just love it here... especially in the summer on their outdoor patio area. I just love the ambiance and beautiful outdoor planters.

The food was very good, but we waited for an hour for our food after our appetizers. Clearly there was a problem in the kitchen but our waitress never told us there was a problem or offered us anything while we waited not even an explanation. Only when we were leaving and we asked why our meal had been so delayed while everyone around us was served did she tell us there was a mixup in the kitchen.

Always amazing! We always have a great meal. The food is excellent and the service is always good. If you go in the summer the patio is one of the best in the city.

Awesome gluten free options, which is great for an Italian restaurant. Menu is frequently updated and changed, but always maintains consistent theme and level of quality. Have been here multiple times and never left dissatisfied.

We love going out to Bonterra Trattoria for dinner. It is one of our favorite places to go out. It never dissapoints. The whipped riccotta was delicious, and we both enjoyed our main courses of Short rib and Tagliatelle were both spectacular. Our server Amaris was wonderful and attentive. An evening out at Bonterra never disappoints.
