    A full service restaurant within an inn - a wonderful option while traveling I75. Essentially a comfort food type restaurant with flavorful food. Both breakfast and lunch were delicious.

    Boone Tavern does not disappoint. But occasionally the kitchen does. Long wait for breakfast to come with only three tables full. Omelette the first order was burned far from acceptable. The second order 10 minutes later was excellent. Eggs over easy were bouncing far past hard on her avocado toast. On a side note, bmy BFF said they were scrumptious.

    We just moved to Berea, KY from VA and had to try out the Historic Boone Tavern …..and I must say we were very pleased with our dining experience! From our interaction with the hostess (Essence) to our Service from Carma we could not be happier with our first time at this restaurant!! Atmosphere, Food, and Service are all great! Fine dining done well!

    Overall it was a very good visit but we kept waiting and waiting for our spoon bread! The people next to us got theirs even though they arrived after us. Plus, where we were seated was freezing. I kept telling my husband to put on his coat but he wouldn’t.

    This was our first time here. Could not have asked for a better experience. Service was outstanding and the food was even better. We started with the crab dip and followed that with the hot brown and my wife had the cream chicken. Both were fantastic. Would also strongly recommend the blueberry old fashioned

    Food was real good. Place is beautiful. Our server was bad. Server was not presentable ( pink hair/ huge nose ring and 2 inch fake nails) and took a extremely long time to get our order… did not return with items asked for…. And took extremely long with things she did bring. We were there on a slow night. Restaurant was not busy. Other severs seemed much more productive and presentable.

    Making reservations made it easy! We got in and out servers were great, helpful, friendly and prompt. The hot food hot, and the cold food cold. Cloth tablecloths and napkins furnishings etc made you feel special! Will be back. Thank you so much for the great time?!!🤗 KD

    I’ve eaten lunch there several times and it’s always delicious! Definitely a nice place to meet up with friends and enjoy a good meal, very nice surroundings and service too. It’s always a top pick for seeing old friends in my opinion and I love the porches, outdoor seating and beautiful flowers outside which are changed with the season.

    Food was good but not outstanding. Menu was very limited, especially for brunch. Prices were reasonable. Good portions. Waitress was pleasant but absent often. Waited for coffee refills, check and to go boxes. Restaurant was not busy and waitress stayed in kitchen most of the time. Hotel was lovely to see. Won’t be back to restaurant.

    Classic southern menu with flavorful twists. Try the deep fried deviled eggs. Unique blend of flavors and the blackberry jam drizzle is just the right finish. We return whenever our travels take us near Bearea, KY. Don't you miss it!

    We drove from Louisville to Berea to celebrate a friend’s retirement. The retiree had never been to Berea, so the entire day was a new experience for her. We had a delicious brunch with excellent food served by lovely Berea students. Bothe young ladies were literally and efficient as they waited on us. Thanks for making this special occasion much more enjoyable!

    We were seated promptly, service was at out table quickly with water and to get drink order. She returned quickly with our drinks and took our order. Our food was delivered within 15 minutes and was great. Not much more you could ask from a Restaurant. This is for open table: on the confirmation email, one place said our reservation was at 4:30 while another had the correct time of 5:30. Very confusing.

    Stopped here for lunch on my way down to Tennessee. Great lunch, ample portions, couldn't drink since we were driving but split an appetizer and the Hot Brown and it was more than enough for two of us. The server was so attentive and gracious, and after we ate we were able to stroll through some of the local art galleries. Great place,

    We really enjoyed our dinner of comfort food. We had never had Hot Brown or Chicken in a Nest before. Both were delicious, as was the incredible bread pudding for dessert. Our server was very efficient with southern hospitality.
