   We really do like this place so I’m sorry to write a mediocre review this time. 1. When we first arrived, they seated us in one of those half round booths. I have a large purse. We all have winter jackets. None of us are petite. They change the table without hassle. 2. The waiter seemed to push us into ordering right away. We all got the feeling he wanted to get things going. Unfortunately, we wanted to take our time reconnect with one another, and not be rushed. He got it after a while. 3. When they brought the food, two of us had ordered a dish which they got wrong so the gentleman ate their food while we waited for our dishes to be prepared. The waiter was kind, and owned the mistake which we appreciated. 4. When it was time to go he brought us the check and to go boxes, but did not offer us anything for his error. Not that we expect it but a complementary dessert might’ve been the right thing to do. 5. After he brought us our credit cards, he said, would you like some water before you get back in the car? He may have met well, but we felt he was pushing us out. In the end, we had a nice time because of our visit. The food was pretty good, but not I wouldn’t say amazing. Kudos to the bus person she took care of us, refilling our water and bringing us fresh bread frequently - she was unobtrusive, but extremely attentive. Where do we return? Yes we’ve been here before and had a better experience. We like it but there are lots of amazing places to eat so maybe we won’t run back quite so fast.

   Food as always was 5 stars. Our server Timothy was awesome! Very professional and so personable! Will def request him for our next visit! As I mentioned when we were there, my family has been part of the Bootlegger fan club since the 1960s when they were on Eastern Avenue! Truly a gem amongst a ton of restaurants in our town. I always recommend when given the opportunity.

   You must have the Alfredo their sauce is absolutely the best! Any plate that has the Alfredo will do also, we frequent this restaurant and have never been disappointed.

    I had the escargot and it was quite chewy. The rest of the food was delicious. I thought it was a little expensive. The service was exceptional! I had left my purse and realized it when I walked out and they had retrieved it and they put it behind the hostess station! I appreciate that they had called me right away! Thank you!

    This restaurant has been on my list to try for a while now. I am mad at myself for waiting so long. Bootleggers is one of the best restaurants in Vegas. The food is amazing, the service is great. This will now be on our top 3 restaurants to eat at.

    Came here after finding out Giada was completely booked. I ordered the iceberg wedge (salad) and veal parmigiana, substituting the angel hair pasta for Fettuccine Alfredo. The waiter delivered some complimentary bread bites with marinara sauce. The bread bites were buttery bits of goodness, complimented by the robust marinara sauce. The wedge salad was fresh and crunchy. The crispy pancetta in the house bleu cheese dressing was creamy, tangy goodness, and not overpowering. This left me wondering how the veal parmigiana would fair. The veal parmigiana was crispy, even when covered with mozzarella cheese and marinara sauce. The marinara was packed with fresh tomato flavor and a kick of the right blend of olive oil and fresh basil. Every bite was a harmonious blend of flavors. The fettuccine Alfredo was creamy with the perfect amount of Parmesan cheese and garlic. My only regret was not having enough room for dessert. Definitely recommend.

    We made a reservation due to the high rating. However, this high rating is very misleading. The service by the woman in the bar was nonexistent, with only 3 tables occupied and no one at the bar she never came back to check on us. She seemed very unhappy to be there. She didn’t smile and was short with us when we asked questions. The food was barely ok,I really was trying to like this place despite the server. I was expecting a decent meal based on the ratings. The salad was overpowered by dressing, it had wilted lettuce and garlic bread was NOT hot or fresh. The Penne with meatballs was bland. My husband’s Salmon dish was just ok too. This place is not commensurate with the high ratings. Skip this restaurant, anywhere will be better in service and food.

    I must say I've eaten at numerous Italian restaurants across the globe and Bootlegger's Bistro is a standout for it's straighforward approach to authentic Italian dishes. The food, service, ambience...everything was done with care and attention to detail in an unpretentious way!! I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant for any occassion!! 4.8/5 stars!!

    We discovered Bootlegger's several years ago and have always enjoyed our meals there. We introduced another couple to the restaurant for an early New Year's Eve dinner. Each of us had something different and we were all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We were too early for the live entertainment this time, but that is always a treat as well. The service was impeccable, our server was personable and attentive. The restaurant was beginning to get busy for the big night, but everything was great. The only minor irritation was that the music (recorded) was a bit too loud for easy conversation. I recommend Bootlegger's for some great Italian food, cool atmosphere, and great service!
