   We did brunch (small plate) and the food was amazing. What made it even better was our server, Katie. She was so nice, professional, and helpfully. She absolutely made our meal the best dinning experience we had in Vegas, and we’ve dined out every meal at different restaurants over the last four days. We’ll be back and we highly recommend.

   Very small and expensive portions of blasé food. The seafood enchiladas had very little seafood and less flavor. The chicken enchiladas tasted like boiled chicken with a little plain red chili sauce. The service was terrible. Not worth the price they charge.

   Great service on a very busy Saturday before the Taylor Swift concert! Every person we encountered was top-notch! Food was very good! Only criticism—too much ice in the cocktails, not enough beverage!

   A bit of a wait, even with a reservation, but the food was excellent. The brunch unlimited small plates was a great experience, always had food, the horchata french toast and chiliquellas were the best on the menu.

    We were seated outside and the temperature was 50 degrees. We asked to be moved closer to the outdoor heaters, no one ever came back. We asked to be moved again and they at least moved us to a sunny area. We asked for coffee and they brought it in a paper cup..thats not a big issue but just to give you an indication that they were running low on cups. The waiter also mentioned they were running low on plate ware. We had the endless small plate brunch menu and it took 30 minutes before we got out first order. The waiter said the kitchen was backed up and to order any additional items so they could get them in. 25 minutes later we were still waiting for a second order. I was wondering if they put is in the cold just so we would not order any more plates...they were trying to freeze us out. Lol. After an hour and a half and only ordering 3 small plates we decided to leave. There were a number of other patrons complaining about the cold and asking to be moved while we were there.

    Border had been my fav Mexican restaurant in the country for years. The quality of their food has stayed incredibly high over the years. Flavor for days, Variety, and always fresh. Ohhh and their Brunch is off the charts.

    Such a cute restaurant! It’s pretty large so there’s lots of room. Pretty relaxed and chill atmosphere for apps and drinks. Super friendly staff and airy ambiance. We ordered the Aguachiles, short rib enchiladas, and caramelized plantains and it was amazing!! The enchiladas had a very unique flavor and they had one of the best (non-spicy) ceviches I’ve ever had.

    Their menu has many items marked as gluten free, however I got sick a few hours after eating here. My dish that was supposed to be dairy free (and even confirmed with the server that there would be no cheese) had cheese on it. Very disappointing.

    We had reservations at 12:45pm for 6 people, was not seated until at least 30 minutes later. Most likely longer. We did the the all you can eat Border Brunch and it was not worth $45 pp. It took a long time for our food to come out. On top of that it was very unorganized. When we asked about the food, the server told us that there was a glitch in the system, and to compensate they sent out a lot carb heavy dishes that we did not order. Then got only one or two of the protein dishes. It was not an enjoyable time. Luckily the food quality did taste good. The staff was fairly friendly, except our server was a little dismissive when we expressed concerns. I have been there 3 other times and have not had this issue. They also changed their menu, seems like there are less protein dishes. I will probably try them out again, but would try to avoid peak hours.

    Good always good. Value for price of guacamole a bit disappointing. Very tasty but essentially a large ice cream scoop size portion for $14. Otherwise all good.

    Beware, they will ask if you want chips and salsa, set several baskets at your table and then charge you $5 per basket! We did not need three baskets, but weren’t given a choice, and assumed they were complimentary as with most Mexican restaurants. Yes, they were good and we would have paid for two baskets but it would have been nice to tell us they cost and to ask how many we wanted. Felt deceptive. Our server was very inattentive, we sat for 40 minutes waiting for the check. He never checked on us once we got our food. Food was good, but overpriced for serving sizes, but it is Vegas and in Mandalay Bay so to be expected. Not easy to find also, so allow extra time and ask for directions in the casino. They were out of the short rib enchiladas that I was set on ordering, which was a disappointment. The steak Caesar salad I ordered instead was good and the steak was cooked perfectly. The al pastor tacos were very good also. The steak quesadilla was a bit bland.

    Chips were overly salted, chicken tortilla soup was also a salt lick. Tacos al pastor was a gigantic pool of oil with some meat. This place is trash.

    This is our go to Restaurant. Always I feel We get great meals and service. The staff are always courteous and happy to be there. You can tell when someone likes their job. Can’t wait to go bake and try something new.

    This is the 5th time within 3 weeks I’ve eaten here. The hostess stand needs mounds of improvement. Unfortunately the system they use is cumbersome, inefficient, & frustrating. You have to wait 30 minutes in a reservation line in order to get a table you’d reserved a half hour ago, it is odd when first opening at 11 am that you have to wait 15 minutes in a reservation line. It is odd, seeing the extremely long lines and tons of empty table and this is throughout the day into evening. The hostesses are frustrated answering questions, will only allow you to speak to them in front of the stand in between a rope that allows 1 foot standing room. People were tripping and handicapped unable to be seen or fit through. Although I arrived before opening with a reservation, another lady was behind me we were sent to the bar area to stand, and weren’t allowed to sit at the open bar, but had to wait to watch 3 other parties be seated, one at the bar, one at the bar tops, and one inside the restaurant. We watched them all be served first and were forced to wait. The second round of drinks took 30 minutes. The kitchen is fast even though the waiters tell you it will be 20-25 minutes for food on the weekends. The food is edible art, worth the wait and the harassment from the hostesses. The managers are on overdrive working fast and hard to make up for the wait staff and complaints. They are kind and open to listening. The brunch menu is so worth it. It is fun, surprising, flavorful and something you don’t see during the week. I could eat here every day, but don’t be hungry bc to get a table even with a reservation is a wait, the bus boys greet you before a waiter does, the waiters are so painfully slow, your food comes out before your drinks do, so the best bet is elbow your way to a space at one of the bars. The bartenders take & enter your order, make your delicious cocktails right then, then swoop in with silverware. Indulge in the Border coffee too….divine.

    The brunch experience was unique. I enjoyed tasting the different tapas especially the Birria Hash & Egg and the Barbacoa Benedict. I was also able to customize them to my liking. Our server was very friendly, but it did take some time to get each set. The bottomless mimosas were actually wine based and included small mixers of juice. Overall, the food and service were good but it seems to be a one time experience.

    We were a party of 5 and it was busy. The server insisted we do family style instead of the usual individual small plates. We didn’t really get the experience we wanted. I wouldn’t go back based on that experience.

    Brunch at Border Grill is a delicious experience. The small plates are creative, tasty, and perfectly sized for tasting multiple entrees. We loved the breakfast tacos and Benedict. The meats incorporated in dishes were wonderful. Our server was clearly experienced in managing brunch customers—she accommodated the member of our party who didn’t eat meat; and she made a point of making the meal an extended gathering—we never felt rushed. We love Border Grill!
