From the appetizer to the dessert everything was so delicious.
The seared foie gras was perfectly cooked and every bite of it was a feast!
Our waitress was perfect.
We strongly recommend this restaurant.

Had to wait a little for our table even though we had a reservation but the wait was well worth it. Our server was friendly and attentive. The food was excellent!

The restaurant is part of a hotel and in the central area of Vancouver. Our server was warm and inviting. We decided to sit on the patio as it was a nice day and we were there for lunch. We shared a seafood tower. All the items were delicious. The oysters were crisp and clean (although being a former oyster shucker, I can't get over how much places charge for oysters now). Be sure to ask for bread at your table, as the mini cornbread muffins are outstanding.

Went in for my anniversary and was extremely excited and planned to get both the tasting menu and the wine pairing. I called ahead and asked them if they could accommodate a pescatarian tasting menu, they said of course. WARNING if you have a food allergy or dietary limitation this place is dangerous for you to eat at.

1. I had a fish served to me with “pastrami glaze” I had to remind them I don’t eat meat and they ran it back to the kitchen
2. Next I had my wine pairing given to me explaining that will compliment the beef bone marrow in my dish - again I pointed out I don’t eat meat
3. The dish came to me and was just scraped of the bone marrow - not created for pescatarian
4. They forgot what my husband was eating and brought him white wine for his wine pairing with duck, and then quickly brought him a red wine to adjust
5. The course they replaced the duck for was cod for me- but it tasted so soapy I couldn’t eat it

By the time we got to dessert I just wanted to leave, they took a very long time on the check over all just a sad experience for a special night that costed over 350 dollars

They made a very nice effort to acknowledge our anniversary. The food was excellent, the service pleasant and helpful. I would have given them 5 stars if my husband's Manhattan was a little less stingy.

We had the tasting menu, and the main course - a duck/marrow concoction - was awful. The texture was like gristle, and the taste was not much better.

The seafood tower was excellent. The seafood linguine was disgusting. No other way to put it. Sent back but dinner was ruined. Won't be back. At this price point the dish they served was inexcusable.

I cannot find the words to express how lovely our dinner at the Boulevard Kitchen was . The food was delicious,. Our waiter Rafik D was most attentive, and knowledgeable in guiding us with our choices . From the oysters with the accompanying Espuma and Mignonette , to the Fromage Blanc & Praline bar , our taste buds were very happy:)
I cannot wait to go there again .
My compliments to all who work there .

I took my husband here for his birthday and the restaurant made an extra effort by giving us a nicer table, having a birthday card waiting when we arrived, and providing a complimentary slice of birthday cake. We had the tasting menu, which was very fresh and tasty, with locally sourced ingredients--standouts were the halibut, the duck, and the elderflower jelly dessert. We also had the chocolate souffle which was amazing. The service was stellar--attentive and friendly but professional, just how we like it. A great place to celebrate a special occasion.

We had a delightful dinner on the patio here with excellent food. I would not have wanted to be inside, didn't love the atmosphere somehow. It was very expensive and our poor server seemed overwhelmed. Think it was graduation and he said something like there are a hundred people in there! The wine ordered to go with the oysters, arrived well after the oysters. The sable fish was very good. The halibut in bone marrow seemed overcooked. Bottom line, it was nice to sit outside and food was very good but very expensive. And service lagged---but it was also graduation time so may have just been a bad night for them.

The food was excellent and looked like it had been plated by an artist. The restaurant is large and quite noisy. There were a couple of kids near us; absolutely not a place to take kids! Our server was very helpful and knew the details of each dish. We liked that the menu was relatively short. It was our impression that they only serve what they are great at. This is a place for foodies, not families.

Wonderful evening at this place. The team, from the manager to the water servers were courteous, professional and prompt. The food, especially the fish plates are really well done and beautifully presented with a nice combination of flavors and textures. Definitely our favorite place in Vancouver.

We had just arrived In Vancouver for a night before our cruise and searched for a restuarant near our hotel. We were not disappointed with the Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar. We had the Seafood Tower for 2 as a starter and then I had the short rib to follow. My wife had the NY Strip steak. All the food and Service was excellent although the restaurant was quite noisy.

Requested banquette in reservation. 3 friends, we arrived well-dressed, but told banquettes for larger parties. Seated against wall right behind reception stand up against woman at table with basinette for young baby. Asked to move. Placed us in middle of section not open yet. Moved again.

Got simple and precise drink order wrong. Server changed midstream. Server absent for long periods.

Dishes not as described by server - e.g. pork chop served with potatoes, not with mustard spaetzle as described.

Loud atmosphere, looked suitable for people with bad taste in clothing but a lot of money to spend.

Kitchen was terrific - great food. But very badly managed, staff poorly trained. Lousy atmosphere.
