It’s the best place to be in Vancouver, 5 star service, restaurant was neat.
Server was on her A game. Loved it in Total
They were buys but I had the waiter if the kitchen could cook for us. He came back and the chef did. The GM suggested a few whites as well. The wines and the service and most importantly the food were outstanding. Definitely will be back
Thanks
The overall experience was really good. One of the entrees just did not meet expectations however. The ling cod cioppino was dry, tough to eat and I thought should have had more broth
Chowder and apricot mousse were the only highlights. Lamb shank was too salty and tasted like costco chicken. Long cod was very salty too and slightly overcooked. Although the chocolate terrine tasted rich, it's like stone hard. There's no much service. I don't feel very welcoming.
We went for dine out Vancouver for our anniversary and everything was amazing. The food was so good and the service was one of the best we’ve experienced. On top of that they gave us a special dessert for our anniversary which included earl grey sorbet...it was outstanding.
The food was great and the service was good. We would go there again.
Anniversary
Tanvir/Raj was dope. Made the evening much better and food was great
Good service and good food. Wine list is very good, lots of choice, even if mark up is on the high side. Good selection of wines by the glass.
We will go back!
This is a serene place to enjoy fabulous food and wonderful service. The servers were attentive and knowledgable. The menu was varied but not overly extensive and the wine list was very good. We went for Dine Out, and the rest of the menu looked to so good some of us opted for the a la carte items. We loved it so much we will definitely be going again in the near future.
It was all nice and fine.
Seating was very good regarding Covid, ( we sat in a booth).
No complains.
A must if you love seafood and our waiter (Robert) was amazing.
Under COVID-19 the team at Boulevard have done a great job to make you feel safe. Food is awesome, we had the seafood tower for 2, which is a great appetizer.
We booked with Dine Out Vancouver and enjoyed the set menu. The waiter helped us with our wine selection and choose a very, nice white wine pairing. When his original choose was not available, he matched prices with a higher priced bottle...very much appreciated. We had drinks in their bar before diner, and that was also very nice as well.
Boulevard is tops in Vancouver.
Excellent as usual, we felt safe after they had closed for two weeks after Covid exposure. Food was fresh and staff wonderful. Very good Covid protocols.
We know we can rely on Boulevard to provide consistently high quality food and beverage, and again, we were not disappointed! Top marks to the culinary crew, and the wine/food pairings for the Dine Out menu were excellent!
Awesome dining experience
Every detail was perfect. Service was impeccable; each dish exquisitely executed, and the accompanying drinks/wine were complementary. The service was exceptional throughout, and staff have been well trained on covid protocol and put them into practice.
We enjoyed the seafood tower for two, steak entrées, and imaginative desserts. You can’t go wrong with any choice - each option is delicious and memorable. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning soon.
Best cornbread ever! And probably best clam chowder in Vancouver! Lamb shank is really beyond expectations. Service is truly exceptional. Would definitely spend my important day here again.
Excellent quality and attention to detail. The seafood tower was the winner, but something as simple as a hanger steak was also cooked perfectly. Lovely service...
I can’t imagine celebrating big milestones anywhere else but with the professional, courteous team from Boulevard. My family absolutely love the food, the staff, and the ambience here! Thank you again for another memorable night! Cheers to the next outing 😉
We did the prix fixe menu and it was delicious! We also tried the London Fog dessert in addition to the chocolate mousse and it was incredible. Will definitely be back!
Could not have been more impressed with the food quality and presentation at Boulevard and Chef Roger. Service was also exceptional - you have 2 more FANATICS as of Wednesday night.
We had a lovely evening at Boulevard Kitchen and Oyster Bar. Service was wonderful (although quite a wait even with reservation).
Creative and delicious food! Always fantastic and friend service. Would definitely return and highly recommend!
Top class all the way.
Always a great experience at Boulevard. The feature desserts were unreal!
Warning: Covid-Review... as usual the food here is exceptional with no complaints and only compliments to the chef and cooking team.
Ambiance in chandelier room poor. The sound from other patrons echoed loudly and the decor was a bit bare.
The server, although knowledgeable in what was in the dishes, he made no effort to explain the flavour or bring in any emotion on the food. I like to try new dishes, but settled for my fave, Sablefish as I knew it would be a winner. I wanted to try the pork or Arctic Char, but the server truly made them both sound boring.
In any event, things went great, just could’ve been better
It was okay, it wasn’t that great. We were expecting something remarkable based on the reviews. Food and service wise. A little disappointed.
I have wanted to try Boulevard for a while now, and our 28th anniversary seemed to be the opportunity. This restaurant did not disappoint. We were welcomed with an actual hand written 'happy anniversary' card, and it got better from there. The seafood tower is the best in the city, by far. Our server was friendly, extremely knowledgeable and helpful with the extensive wine list. We were treated to a (delicious) complimentary desert. All the nice touches added to a wonderful meal and overall experience. Boulevard, you knocked it out of the park! We thank you and we'll be back.
Fantastic experience! Delicious food and friendly staff!
Never disappoints! Good options on the menu for all in our party.
My fiancé and I celebrated the new year at Boulevard on Jan 1 to avoid the crowds, and it was just delightful. We ordered all 4 of the recommended specials as appetizers because each one sounded delicious. I ordered a turmeric sour and it was amazing. Service was attentive, but not overwhelming. Ambiance was as beautiful as I remember, with just a few guest sprinkled throughout. I highly recommend the restaurant as it’s not lost its charm for over 10 years (when I last visited)
The food is amazing worth what we paid for. Very different from ordinary restaurant as expected. Very delicious. The service is exceptional. 5 star
Amazing! My husband and I came for our anniversary dinner on January 1st. Everything was perfect! We will definately come back!
Came for NYE set menu and the food was disappointing, we both left the restaurant thinking that was not special and wasn’t worth it.
My partner and I went here for NYE as it's our custom that instead of buying each other Christmas gifts was go to a nice restaurant for NYE (what better gift than the gift of excellent food?). When Covid hit and all the restaurants were shutting down we were kind of afraid our tradition would die but thankfully a lot of great restaurants managed to remain open (even if alcohol cut off was 8pm with 24h notice - BAD government!). One of those places was the Boulevard! We made a reservation for 5pm and were seated once the doors opened up. Having a slight walking impediment the hostess was very gracious to ask whether I was okay with stairs or if I would prefer a table on the ground level, which was a service above and beyond what I have experienced in other places. Once seated our waitress introduced herself (Angela) was a complete joy the entire night! She was extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing night - oh and she knows the oyster menu which I had her repeat at least half a dozen times (the oysters were delicious btw)! I dont think our water glasses went below 80% the entire night she was so attentive. The food was of course amazing, I really didn't expect any less though to be honest - what can I say I love my foie gras and the menu was bleeding it. Our night was definitely one of the best we have spent for our tradition and we definitely would love to go back. Thank you to the Boulevard staff for treating us so wonderfully on this night, I know it's been a hard time for a lot of restaurant and service staff so we appreciate you and all the work you did for us! The government has done a travesty upon hard working Canadians but after our experience I still see that we have the spirit of carrying on and fighting for our future. Thank you again Angela, & the staff at the Boulevard! Happy New Year & God Bless.
We enjoyed our experience at Boulevard. Food was very tasty. Service was excellent and our server was particularly enjoyable. Drinks were great too!
We were there for Happy Hour, a quick drink before dinner. We had local oysters and salmon pate. They were both fantastic and great value. The oysters were fresh, plump and juicy that are far superior than those at Fanny Bay Oysters we had a few nights ago. Our drinks were just what we wanted - good quality and tasted great.
Our server Yvette was friendly and accommodating. We had a great time and definitely will return soon. Next time we will try their seafood tower which is also one of their signature dishes.
Would like to see more local wines and know where my food is from on the menu. Also clam chowder should be called fish chowder since it is fish based and not clam based like a pure, good quality clam chowder should be. She show ingredients for allergic people.
