    Excellent from start to finish. Kids menu has something for every picky eater. My daughter said the steak frite was very tender and delicious. My other daughter loves the linguine with meatballs. Adults ordered Lamb Shank which was perfectly done, and the Sablefish was a perfectly constructed dish. Veg side dishes are definitely worth trying also -spinach, brusell sprouts and broccolini. And the pear dessert was scrumptious. Thank you Boulevard and Chef Roger!

    It was a perfect evening to celebrate my husbands birthday! The crudo, octopus, sablefish and stripling was amazing. The poached pear vacherin was exceptional! Lily was our server and she was super attentive!

    I had an amazing experience at Boulevard yesterday for Brunch! Jorge, one of the managers, welcomed us so nicely and brought us to our table. The service was excellent, with the right level of care and class! The food was delicious. We had the crab salad, the carpaccio and the potatoes! Jorge recommended the potatoes and he was soooo right on their exquisite taste! Highly recommend this restaurant for the food, service and ambiance :-)

    Our seats were good but it is an open space was very loud. Go if’s was ok but not as good as last time. Scallops were overcooked and lobster bisque a bit salty. Halibut special was good We did not have dessert as we could no longer deal with the noise. Our server was fine but not near as good as the servers we’ve had in the past. We’ve always looked forward to our next meal at boulevard when completing the current meal. Not so much this time.

    This place is a disaster. After making reservations for Thanksgiving dinner over a month in advance we were sat next to the kitchen door and educated about the different of dates for Canadian Thanksgiving. So we pressed on ordering drinks from the bar that took thirty minutes to get to us, while waiting being told they had to restock booze from the basement. The cocktail that was finally served was a glass filled of bitters. Don’t get the Boulevaedian . It’s garbage. The only saving grace for this place is their oysters with side sauces and fairly decent wine list which are kinda hard to wrong on. When we finally got our overpriced meals my daughter received the wrong meal entirely and wasn’t offered any acknowledgment to the matter until she was half way into it. The chargers coming out of the kitchen are extremely efficient for delivering hot plates per the chef but the amount of staff activity and the noisy atmosphere were a side show to our waiter having to go all the way back into the kitchen to get a broom and pan to sweep a broken glass from the floor of our neighboring table while our table neighbor spent nearly a minute picking up the broken crystal. Bravo man but where were the staff at that point? Oh they were around alright. 👍 in fact the manager walked right on by the whole charade while the customer was knelt over picking up glass. A minute later the waiter comes in to save the day with the broom and with hands reserved for finer tasks. It grosses me out that he touched the rim of my son’s glass to check for a chip in it and he thinks nothing of getting a broom to sweep glass off the floor. Assigned roles for god’s sake. They should be ashamed for how this is run and the prices they charge. Shame, shame , shame…

Having looked into this in detail I am very disappointed that we failed to provide the accurate, hospitable and self aware service that we work hard at each day.     Our experience at Boulevard Kitchen was amazing. The staff were friendly, informative and really helpful in selecting our dishes. The wagyu steak was among the best we have experienced in Vancouver, and the fresh seafood was truly delicious. The food was well balanced between the flavours and the dessert was not only beautiful but savoury, sweet and just the right amount of tart. We strongly recommend.

    Our server Scarlett was prompt and responsive and even remembered us from a previous visit. Those little things stand out in a town full of great restaurants. Food and drink were delicious and on point. Noise levels a little high but a busy restaurant isn’t a bad thing. A fantastic upscale dining and special-occasion experience.

    We had not planned the day well and had late lunch before our reservation. Therefore we did not order a full 3 course meal for everyone. Our server was making some profound comments like our orders were “strategic” and not like the other patrons in the restaurant. We ordered a small platter of dessert to try and when he served the platter, he put it down with some force that startled some of us and emphasized that this was a “dessert for 2” (we were 4 adults and 1 toddler). We weren’t happy. To their credit, though, we got a few more pieces after. Perhaps someone sensed the situation. Food was good overall. The experience overall, not so much.

    Amazing desserts served by two year winning pastry chef we were told, and they were right. Very delicious rotating dessert menu. Try it before it's gone this season. The Lamb was very delicious and probably one of the better options for value. Was very surprised on its size. Service was friendly. Would recommend

    I love the atmosphere at Boulevard: it’s very chic and the top tier of fine dining in this city. We shared the seafood platter for two, the mignonette that accompanied the oysters was unlike anything I’ve ever tried. Our server recommended a beautiful bottle of Chablis and the gentleman who served the first pour was so knowledgeable. This was such a special experience and I can’t wait to return for another dinner at Boulevard.

    The food was very delicious and the ambience is cozy chic. We started with half a dozen of oysters, followed by lobster bisque and grilled octopus. So fresh, savoury and perfectly. We then had the sablefish and lamb shank. Both so so good. All the dishes were perfectly prepared, could not think of a thing to change. We noted to the waiter that we were sharing all these dishes. It would have been nice to have the soup dished in two bowls for us. Otherwise the service was fine. Nothing special like at Hawksworth, Blue Water or Elisa’s. Unrefined but fine. Will absolutely return.

    My waiter was condescending and aggressive where my guest and I felt uncomfortable. I remember this place used to be known for impeccable service. Sad to see it going downhill and I probably won’t come again.

    There was a polite reminder before we came and the arrival was well handled and understanding as my husband is hard of hearing, and table location makes a difference. The service was excellent and the wine steward was very helpful with the wine choices.

    All of the dishes we had were very good. The harvest salad and prime strip loin were amazing. Some parts of the service was a little unsophisticated but never neglectful.
