   Me and my husband tried the Dine-out menu. In generally the food is too salty for us. The wire pairing is okay for the appetizer and main dish but not dessert. The environment is super noisy. The distance between tables is very good and the service is pretty good.

   Recommend for Dine out 1.Prawn toast with shellfish bisque- so flavourful 2.Wagu beef - good, but would try a different entre next time- tender, but not as flavourful as hoped 3. Apricot chocolate mousse- intensely flavourful-did not disappoint 4. Fanny Bay Oysters - really good

   Lovely dinner! Steelhead appetizer was wildly delicious, great textures as well, will be coming back just for that. Kale salad was also excellent, great comte to top it off. Cavatelli was also very good, really well balanced sauce and fantastic pasta. Ling cod dish was almost great, cod was very underdone, and I'm happy to have lightly cooked fish. Rosti was very good and I liked the ham hock and borscht emulsion, but the beets were underseasoned, noticeable because of how well seasoned everything else was. Pannacotta and cheesecake were solid, not a typical presentation and not overly sweet. Wine pairings were good, first course in particular. Very efficient service.

   We were there for a birthday during dine-out season but it was great that we weren’t limited to only the dine-out menu. We ordered the kale salad, hanger steak, and lingcod. For dessert we had cheesecake and praline bar. Food was delicious. Unfortunately the lingcod was overcooked. I had to send it back but it was rectified immediately by the server and manager. The way the manager and server handled the situation was very professional and greatly appreciated. The issue was addressed, they apologized, and it was corrected. That alone would make me come back. The ambience was very nice. It was dim and the noise level was a bit on the loud side but it was still lovely. We had a great evening.

   How do you write a review when an experience leaves you speechless?! My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary along with a our best friends who also have a similar anniversary date. Larry, our server was awesome. He took the time time explain each of our selections, give suggestions based on our tastes and managed to crack a few jokes. The food was incredible! We were blown away by chef’s creative and calculated combinations of flavors, textures and craftsmanship. And to top it all off, we were treated to complimentary champagne and desserts to celebrate our very special occasion. Without competition, Boulevard has risen to the top of our list fine dining experiences. Only twice in my life so far have I had the opportunity to enjoy a 10/10 dining experience and Boulevard is one of them! Thank you!

    I went with my wife for our anniversary. The food was good but the only outstanding dish was the seafood bisque. We tried the Vancouver Dine out menu. Service was very good, however, even when I said on my reservation it was our anniversary there were no comments by the staff regarding that event. I would like to go again but probably not with the dine out menu. We also tried the oysters which were really good.

    Very disappointed and we had to change to another location in the last minute. The waiter only told us that kitchen couldn’t make any hot food that night. We booked long time in advance and it was supposed to be a special occasion for our group. When we paid the bill, they didn’t offer any discounts or offer anything special to us for the future visit. Really disappointed considered this was supposed to be a well known high end restaurant in downtown Vancouver.

    Couldn’t rave more about how wonderful our visit was! Brought my boyfriend here to celebrate his birthday, our server was so knowledgeable and friendly. As well, we had excellent service from the sommelier on shift to help us choose a bottle of wine :) food was outstanding, will definitely be back again. Thank you!

    We enjoyed our meal so very much. Absolutely delicious! I've stayed at the sutton many times and I regret not having gone to the restaurant until now. We will definitely be returning!

    We were impressed by the food and dessert. The raw oysters were delicious and grilled sablefish was near perfection. Minor qualm was the food tended to be slightly on the salty side. The dessert is a must try and we ended up ordering two of the chestnut-buckwheat merengue-ice cream. If someone told me this was a Michelin starred restaurant, I would have believed it!

    Menu has lots of selections. Big portions. Ordered the 50oz Tomahawk and the meat was soft and tender. I recommend getting the seafood tower as it has a lot to offer. Very good service.

    We had an absolutely magnificent meal. Every dish was special, and the service was excellent. Good product knowledge, friendly … knew when to be there and (equally important) when not to be there. Yes - it is expensive, particularly the wine list - however it is absolutely worth it. It is a treat.

    Booked this for a holiday outing with my husband, we were looking for a downtown upscale spot before a show. Well, expecting an upscale setting we were very pleasantly impressed by how incredible and delicious our dishes were. Imaginative, fresh and absolutely delicious. The cocktails were exceptional as well. We’ll be back for our next special evening out.

    Our Christmas present to each other was a night out—“Pink Martini” at the Orpheum and the ‘Staycation’ promotion at the Sutton. Hotel plus parking and a $150 gift card to this restaurant. Our server was perfect and the meal was too. Thank you for a most wonderful time.

    The meal was excellent, we had the seafood tower, hanger steak and lamb shank. Desserts are a must. Wine list is extensive, great selection by the glass as well. Service was friendly, professional, all around great. Will definitely be back.
