Great special occasion dinner for two. It was a weeknight and "off-season" so the restaurant was relatively quiet and we did not feel rushed. I mentioned in the OpenTable reservation that we were coming to dine to celebrate my wife's birthday. Without saying anything while we were there our host brought my wife a very nice piece of chocolate cake with a candle after we were done with our main meal. It was a perfect ending to a wonderful dining experience.
I absolutely love this place!!!!!
For sure is my favorite restaurant.
I came too brasa before but this time the meat was too dry and didnt taste as good as last time
Our first visit and will not be our last. The eating and serving concept were fantastic. If you have been there and never tried the pineapple...omg what you missed. The overall ambience, service and quality of the food make Brasa one of the top restaurants I have ever experienced. Take someone you like or love and you will not be disappointed.
Great vibe, great food and great service! Servers were really pleaseant, food was fresh and well seasoned and live music gave that extra touch.
Right from the start! The young ladies who greeted us and showed us to our table to the amazing wait staff, the meat gouchos and the bus boy! All staff delivered amazing service! Friendly, chatted and were fun! But not overbearing or interrupting our meal or our personal conversation! Absolutely will return and we have already told family and friends that it is well worth checking out on their next trip to Niagara!
My friends and went for my birthday the food was great I loved everything. But the service was terrible. Our server never came back to our table to refil waters and get other drink orders he was very inattentive when we told this to another crew member who told the manager, the manger never even came over or offered anything. They then brought a dessert out after me telling them I did not want dessert. Very dissatisfied
I was not impressed with the food, compared to other Brazilian Steakhouses. It was good and tasty but nothing out of the ordinary. Salad bar had variety. The Service was stellar, everyone was nice, helpful and extremely professional. The lamb and pineapple were awesome, everything else just good. Nothing to complain about, I was just expecting more base on the restaurant description.
This place is way way way over priced. The salad bar was average at best and you have to wait for the gauchos to come by with the meat. I had to ask several times for a gaucho to come by. Anyway if you want to spend this kind of money on a meal do yourself a favour and go to The Keg.
Disappointed as we were celebrating a special occasion so we're willing to spend more than we normally do on a meal .... no shrimp which I was looking foreword to and for some reason the lamb only came around once which my husband was looking forward to. Asked both our server and one other for horseradish and it never came. The mashed potato bowl along with the only hot vegetable ( carrots ) was empty both times we went up .
We would love to save up and try again
It was our third time visiting your establishment and once again we were amazed at the whole experience. I have recommended Brasa to many of my customers, friends and family.
Tasty and interesting experience; awesome service.
Meat was good but the buffet was very disappointing to say the least.
Did not meet expectations. Disappointed in a meat, salad bar is good. Buns were sweet. Will not come again and will not recommend. My wife had a birthday and no one acknowledged it even though I advised when booked.
Good food, excellent service.
However, the best meat type tenderloin is our favourite, however they only serve it wrapped with bacon. And we don’t eat bacon. It’s unfortunate.
Everything was pretty good. The only downfall was there wasn’t any All You Can Eat Seafood, as advertised on the website for Friday & Saturday. We were there on a Saturday night.
Food tasted great with a nice atmosphere. Service was good. My only complaint is that we didnt get a choice of all the meat that was on the menu, even after asking for it to come around to our section.
Frood was pretty good. I was disappointed that my favorite cut of meat was not as good as the other samples. Bacon wrapped fillet. it was way to well done for me. others at my table also commented on this.
Expensive restaurant, but sometimes you get what you pay for. Both the food and service were excellent.
Our server Racheal was amazing! She was busy as the restaurant was too, but she still checked on us when she could!
Also, we appreciated Ceasar as well! He was one of the meat servers and he laughed with us, and was very informative about the food! He was so friendly and kind!
We will definitely return!
We were blown away by the food at Basra! The food and service were amazing and the buffet was outstanding. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves steak and wants to go for a nice fancy dinner in Niagara Falls.
Was my first time going with my boyfriend, it was a very enjoyable experience, all the meats were delicious and the buffet had lots of variety. My boyfriends only comment was he was hoping the meats had more option for being cooked well done, most were medium and a bit too pink for his liking, but he did enjoy it all.
It was a very nice experience I will be back, staff was very friendly and food was good specially the meat. Salad bar wasn’t as fresh as I was expecting. Overall everything was good.
We as a family have come to Brasa many times. However it’s been a while since our last visit. The price was incredibly high. We used to pay $35 in around there now it’s $60 a person. That’s way to much given the fact the meat selection is limited & chicken wings is one of the choices. Great food but the cost is not worth it in me & my families opinion.
My wife and I have been counting the days down till we had our night out away from the hustle and bustle of family and life . We had a fabulous time and dinner at the Brasa Brazilian Steakhouse . We will be back again soon for our fourth time!!!
Very good selection of seafood and vegetables in the buffet. The cooked salmon was excellent, the smoke salmon tended to be a bit too salty. The only shortcoming was the burnt asparagus. All beef entries were excellent. Tender, tasty and not overcooked. Unfortunately the same could not be said about the pork. Although the parmesan pork tasted all right it was overcooked and dry. The chicken was overcooked as well. The service was excellent though. All servers were were polite and helpful
This is our 400th time here.
It seems to be on the steady decline. We went on Thursday night, it was slow, time of year.
Most of the meats were over cooked, dry and way too salty. They were trying to get rid of the meat as one server plopped a massive peice on my wife's plate. She wasn't going to eat that....
Seems it's only top shelf when Jamie is working.
Gonna take a break and try new spots.
Maybe they will go back to the best of the best one day.
Our first time there and we can't wait to go back. So much fun and the food and service was fabulous!
Fantastic antipasto bar. One could actually feast on that alone. While most of the meat cuts were good, the garlic steak was dry and we did not detect much garlic. The rib eye was quite tender, and the pineapple is the perfect finish to the meal.
Very pricey, long wait for meats to come by, and overall a very tourist experience. Wouldn't return..
When I made a reservation I asked for a name card to be placed on the table. It wasn’t done. When I asked one of the girls at the reception she told me it’s ok and I’m fine without it. I can give her the benefit of the doubt that she may have misheard what I said, but it still doesn’t change the fact that I did not get my name card on the table.
Food was very average. Serving was slow so you lose your appetite by the time the guy with the steak walks out. The appetizer buffet was also very average.
Overall I expected a Brasa to give me an amazing experience which I was willing to pay the high price for, but unfortunately that was not the case.
Asked about the gluten free options and our server told us we could have any of the meats except the sausage and that the salad /hot food bar would have everything labeled. So we went and filled our plates with what we thought was GF foods— starting eating and then our server showed up with a “foods to avoid for gluten intolerances”. Sheer panic when we realized the food was not obviously labeled properly since we had consumed food that contained gluten!! The allergen card also noted that the chicken AND lamb were also not to be consumed if you had a gluten allergy. Lamb was also on our plate. So being wrongly informed really ruined our experience, not to mention that we did not even have a full meal but enough to cause a major problem the management wanted to still charge us the full price $99/person for NYE. Not okay! After complaining for quite sometime about the lack of information, labeling and concern for our well being— they removed a dinner from our bill, still charging us for one person. The management also tried to tell us what they “usually” do when someone had an allergy, ie walk the guests around the food bar to show what can be eaten etc. which made us more upset because nothing like that even remotely happened! We spent our NYE sick. This restaurant had so much potential but obviously don’t take allergies seriously.
Bad experience! Would not go back...ever.
Our visit was good .. Food was HOT and there were so many options. The garlic steak and bacon wrapped tenderloin were amazing .. Hot Buffet had good selections with lots of seafood..
We were seated at the back far corner which could have been much nicer if we had a view. Our waiter was AMAZING and went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met.
We would definitely return for another New Years Eve Dinner
Save your money. Go to a real steakhouse. Not worth the money they charge.
Food and service was great. Wish they would have mentioned online that pricing was $100 pp for new years eve dinner. Went in assuming holiday pricing of $60.
The New Years Eve menu was 100$ PER PERSON!!!!!!!! They don't tell you this before they start serving you, they give you a "complimentary" glass of sparkling wine, a dessert table with cheap desserts (a very limited selection), and a party favor (a headband that says happy new years). These three things increased the price by 40$ a person! I was very surprised and not impressed at all by the huge increase in the price (usually around 55$ a person, which is already very pricey to begin with).
New year’s eve was perfect! The menu and service were great!
Their prices are different been listed on the website we ended up spending a lot more than we thought
I had made reservations to come to Brasa for NYE. Food was good, service was excellent and I really enjoyed the live music. The one thing that was very surprising for me was the bill; at no point from Brasa's website, OpenTable reservation, or our host indicated that dinner was $99/person. At the time of reservation, I had assumed it was $59/person since it didn't state holiday prices on Brasa website's FAQ and it seem the higher stated fare was a reasonable assumption. Had this been informed to us by our host before we were served (even if we had sat down), the bill wouldn't have been such a shock and I wouldn't have felt pressed to write this review.
For future patrons inclined to book Brasa on a holiday, I would advise calling in advance before making a reservation to avoid any shock at the bill.
