Brasa Brazilian Steakhouse - Niagara Falls
The gourmet buffet features over 70 hot and cold items to accompany your meal including Brazilian-style potato, corn bread and polenta. Brasa is the best place to experience a taste of South America.
Brasa is also home to a sophisticated wine collection with a fully enclosed, two–storey wine room containing an extensive selection of world-renowned wines.
Prices: Sunday-Thursday CA $49.95 Friday-Saturday CA $59.95
But would like to see the following improvements:
1. Music should be set to the sophisticated ambiance, such as soft instrumental bossa nova
2. Servers need to interact more with customers
3. Some of the foods in the buffet lacked seasoning and texture, specially the black beans and rice which is the main staple in the brazilian cuisine. There was no stirred fried collards, also a popular side dish in Brazil.
Great fresh food, always happy with the service and the food
This is my second time. Drove from Woodstock,Ontario to celebrate my 63rd birthday. Brought the whole family.
it was enjoyed by all. Our table by the bar was very quiet and we could all hear each other.
Our server EddieP was fabulous.
We were a table of 4, there for a celebration. It was mine and my husband 1st time there, our friends have been there before. We were seated on the bar side. The waiter asked for our drink order as soon as we sat, to which we said we needed a minute. We than had to flag him down about 20 min later. The meat was extremely slow to come around. They seem to circle the main dinning room. We had to constantly tell someone what we were waiting for and would be told they would send it over. Sometimes we would have to ask 3 times. Some items like the sausage we never even saw. The waiter never asked if we wanted another drink and the water glasses were never refilled without getting someone's attention. The music was very sleepy.
More suited for a group as opposed to a couple.
However for a first time experience very enjoyable.
Food was good. Lots of meats to choose from. Buffet area for apps and sides had a good selection but I wish there was better signage as I missed some food I would have liked to eat. Place is pricey but expected since it’s Niagara Falls and it’s a Friday night.
even thow they new of it being a special occasion we where seated at a very tiny table against a wall and other then the hostess saying happy birthday that was it after a bill of $ 173 a free piece of cake wouldn't kill them.
Food was great and our service was good, the experience went downhill when a bug crawled across our table and waiter killed it and brushed off the incident saying the try to keep dining room clean but what can you do, bugs are everywhere
The staff was extremely attentive and friendly. The food was absolutely incredible. I honestly don’t think I can ever eat steak from anywhere else ever again. Will definitely be coming back in the near future!
Everything was great! However, this app allows for you to make reservations up until 15 minutes prior to closing. The restaurant technically closes at 10 pm on Sunday’s and we had a 9:45 reservation. We were told by the host that they seat until 10 but were then told our dining night be a bit rushed. It was clear the staff was irritated with our late arrival, and understandably so. We were not aware of the closing time being so close to our reservation. Reservations should not be available to be made so close to close.
Amazing as ever! Food is always delicious and service is top notch. They even comped us dessert as it was our anniversary!
Service is good and the bar is probably the best compared to other Brazilian restaurants.
However, I was extremely disappointed. The main reason I made a reservation and drove all the way there was because my wife wanted live music for our anniversary dinner. The website says there is live music on Sunday but when I went there I was disappointed to find that there is no live band!
I did not like that!
My family and I have been there a few times and everytime they hit one out of the park, great food
Wait staff was amazing. The servers were polite and helpful
A great place to celebrate a special event... A little pricey but totally worth it!
Great food and great staff. They were so welcoming and informative and made our visit so comfortable and fun. Would 100% recommend!
The only problem is the tourist tax when we live in the same province. It takes 1 1/2 hours to get there and then we need to pay the tourism tax . It should only be for the tourists.
This was a guys golf weekend with friends from Kansas City. Never was I more disappointed in a restaurant than I was Friday night. The meats offered were disappointing, they pushed chicken and pineapple on our table all night. Beef portions were very small when they visited our table with offerings. The salad bar was not clean and organized, there was little attention to detail to ensure that items were full and fresh. The seafood that was advertised on Friday was not what I expected. It was sparse and basically limited to unpeeled shrimp, salmon and mussels. This was not our first visit to Brasa, but it will definitely be the last. When you are paying $90 on average per person, I would like to think that the quality of food reflects the cost.
Our second time at Brassards, the first was a much better experience.
I’ve never been but always wanted to go. Service was excellent, but the meat brought to the table was just ok at best. Most of the beef was flavourless, unless you count the salt on the surface pieces. The lamb was disappointing, chicken was moist but again flavourless. At this price point I expect much more. I’d rather spend my money at a decent steakhouse.
We came during our anniversary vacation and was not disappointed! We have been to other Brazilian steakhouses and this one was similar. Amazing service, delicious food. Highly recommend if you are in Niagara Falls area, while it doesn’t offer the view of the falls, it’s worth the stop.
Horrible food , recently changed the process in which they cook the meat to accommodate kitchen staff. They use gas now and you can taste it in the meat
Love Brazilian steak houses but this is not authentic anymore
They are renovating the downstairs to add seats but due to the large capacity they are changing the process in which they cook the meat
We barely ate and it made us queasy the couple next to us had same issue
Copacabana is down the street and still uses the Brazilian char cooking method to create the authentic taste they are also cheaper and the food is much better
It’s a great experience overall. A few cons: there’s definitely a lot less food going around on a Sunday. The servers come around less frequently and there isn’t as much variety.
The other really annoying thing is that they now force you to pay the “tourist fee”. All other restaurants still take it it off when you request but Brasa says it’s mandatory. After looking into it after the fact, as of January 1 2019 hotels are allowed to legally charge this fee. Brasa now bills under “Hilton Hotel” if you look at the actual bill when it comes. Prior to this mandatory “fee” that hotels are now imposing, they used to bill under “Brasa”.
The food is already quite pricey for the quality you get so it’s annoying that they now charge that 6.69% on top and refuse to take it off.
Not as much meat offerings as usual. We saw maybe 6-7 types only.
Service was excellent, great atmosphere , staff was very helpful , excellent salad bar
Great customer service horrible food quality. All of the meat was dry. Made a reservation and got seated half an hour later. Would not recommend.
wonderful night it was our anniversary music service was great and the sangria amazing
food was excellent. we were out on the balcony.
server was great. her name was Jennifer. she was friendly and attentive.
food was amazing!!
Great atmosphere. Incredible food. Jessica was a pro. Will definitely return to this place
Food quality has deteriorated from last time I went which was about two years ago.
I was pleased with the food, the service, the ambience; however, when the bill arrived, I nearly fainted. Never again will I come to spend nearly $250.00 on two adults and a thirteen-year-old boy. Similarly, never will I recommend this restaurant to a friend. $250.00!!!!!!!!!!!
Had been to this restaurant before and it was good
Poor cuts of meat
Meat was not cooked properly. Either undercooked and tough or overcooked and dry
Service and food was excellent, parking was tricky but main issue for us was the long walk and maneuvering with a wheelchair inside the restaurant.
I would only recommend brasa for the experience of the Brazilian dining.
The buffet selection was excellent as well as the selection of meats however, most of the meats themselves were over cooked and tough to cut/chew.
The rump, rib eye and lamb were nicely cooked and tender. The brazilian rice and black bean stew were delicious as well (especially when mixed together)
Our server Jen was awesome and very attentive, give that lady a raise lol
Bad experience, the restaurant has a brazilian theme . It's not a Brazilian food restaurant. Cuts are too thick, meat is raw , I give my stars to the crew , the gauchos are the best in the restaurant.
Went there with the kids....had a really good time. Food was amazing, our wait staff was great! Good vibe overall. The only thing is I found 24$ for each kid pricy as let’s face it, kids really don’t eat that much. But than again, when I’m Niagara Falls-everything is pricey. Would go there again as it was really good! Thank you!
Best steakhouse ever!!! We will come back time and time again .
Wasn't impressed. Staff was VERY attentive but value sucked.
Overpriced and then to top that there is the Niagara Falls Tourism fee. Really??? We were told we were not eligible to remove it because we were not from the Niagara and surrounding area. Plus we couldn't use the coupons given to us from the hotel on Fri and Sat.......but our stay was Fri and Sat!! LOL
Food was ok but that was it...nothing outstanding. Garlic beef was so tough we couldn't cut it with the knife. Sorry, wish I had a better experience. Definitely would NOT recommend it.
Buffet was very plain... meat was good but many guys didn’t offer us even though our coasters were green facing, the price per person was 58.99. OUTRAGEOUS.
They gave us complimentary desert because we were on our honey moon. The server made our experience amazing.
