    Foods were cold, Service was Ok because waiting for awhile to order anything. Main complaint is foods were cold, especially the Gumbo. Do you expect customer to eat lukewarm? Don’t know how thay got up to top list.

    What an amazing experience! The food and cocktails were delicious, and our server was top notch. Great stories and recommendations. We all (6 of us) enjoyed it a great deal and would totally go back. Tons of character! Highly recommend reservations though.

    We came to Brennans with very high expectations. The service was great, the ambience was great, but the food just so-so. And the “world famous bananas foster” was a let down. Just wasn’t worth it for us for the price. But all in all a decent experience.

    We had a wonderful dinner at Brennan’s. The food and atmosphere was wonderful but it was the service that exceeded expectations. Our server, Rashad, was extremely knowledgeable and very attentive, but the entire staff did…they really went above and beyond. The bananas foster was to die for, of course.

    Brennan's on Royal has never disappointed. This was our first visit since the management change and reopening. We felt right at home and thoroughly enjoyed our food and the ambiance. We will enjoy visiting again more frequently in the future.

    It’s been a few years since I’ve had breakfast at Brennan’s and it did it disappoint. The service was phenomenal, the bubbles were half off and our breakfast was delicious. I look forward to visiting again soon!

    Loved everything about it but wished our waitress had been more attentive. She never once checked back on us after our food was served. The only time she returned was to bring dessert menu but that was several minutes after our plates were cleared. We were not eating a large meal so more attention was given to higher tab patrons

    This was my second visit to Brennan’s and I have yet to have a bite that wasn’t absolutely delicious. Great service and even better food. I’ll always recommend Brennans.

    The dishes were excellent, but my lobster was a little tough, so it was overcooked. The accompanying veal cheek was heavenly. My spouse's duck was internally cooked beautifully, but the fat was not fully rendered. You could see about 1/2 an inch of white raw fat near the edge of the meat. The appetizers were excellent. I highly recommend the turtle soup. The service was excellent, though we had to strain to hear our waiter's very quiet whisper of a voice. When I mentioned the overcooked lobster, the response was, "I'll tell the kitchen." The food was mainly excellent, but we did have some critiques, which I should not have for this price range.

    the duck was excellent, crispy skin and cooked just right at medium rare, my wifes blackened redfish was very good but could have used a bit more crab meat on top, service was very good and for my birthday i got a brennans cooking apron, very cool.

    Never miss the opportunity to dine at this wonderful restaurant every time we visit New Orleans. We always book it twice for visits to the Big Easy. The eggs hussard are to die for. And we can't pass up the Bananas Foster.

    Our favorite place, we traveled from DC to NOLA for birthday brunch! The iconic dishes continue to be spectacular, and we were impressed with new menu items as well. The service is so personalized, so professional, just charming! Thank you Brennan's for continuing to surpass all expectations!

    I was worried that this would be an overrated tourist destination, but I was immediately proved wrong from the moment we checked in with the host through the entire meal. Service was excellent, one of the first meals I’ve had in a long time where the pacing was perfect. I could relax and take my time. All the courses were paced out perfectly and everything was delicious. My friend and I split a lot of the shareable items so we would try as many things as possible and they even took the time and care to put them on separate plates for us. The birthday surprise was truly a surprise as well!

    The server we had was awful. He literally ignored us after taking our order. He didn’t check on us, ask if we wanted more cocktails (we did) & it wasn’t because it was crowded. He was hiding behind the door and even when we waved him over he ignored us. The appetizer course and dessert were ok, the turkey entree was not good…the turkey was tough and the stuffing was good but it was a tiny portion. I would not have even left a review but the service was so bad I had to say something. The waiter is the one with the mask on the 2d floor.
