    The dishes were excellent, but my lobster was a little tough, so it was overcooked. The accompanying veal cheek was heavenly. My spouse's duck was internally cooked beautifully, but the fat was not fully rendered. You could see about 1/2 an inch of white raw fat near the edge of the meat. The appetizers were excellent. I highly recommend the turtle soup. The service was excellent, though we had to strain to hear our waiter's very quiet whisper of a voice. When I mentioned the overcooked lobster, the response was, "I'll tell the kitchen." The food was mainly excellent, but we did have some critiques, which I should not have for this price range.

    the duck was excellent, crispy skin and cooked just right at medium rare, my wifes blackened redfish was very good but could have used a bit more crab meat on top, service was very good and for my birthday i got a brennans cooking apron, very cool.

    Never miss the opportunity to dine at this wonderful restaurant every time we visit New Orleans. We always book it twice for visits to the Big Easy. The eggs hussard are to die for. And we can't pass up the Bananas Foster.

    Our favorite place, we traveled from DC to NOLA for birthday brunch! The iconic dishes continue to be spectacular, and we were impressed with new menu items as well. The service is so personalized, so professional, just charming! Thank you Brennan's for continuing to surpass all expectations!

    I was worried that this would be an overrated tourist destination, but I was immediately proved wrong from the moment we checked in with the host through the entire meal. Service was excellent, one of the first meals I’ve had in a long time where the pacing was perfect. I could relax and take my time. All the courses were paced out perfectly and everything was delicious. My friend and I split a lot of the shareable items so we would try as many things as possible and they even took the time and care to put them on separate plates for us. The birthday surprise was truly a surprise as well!

    The server we had was awful. He literally ignored us after taking our order. He didn’t check on us, ask if we wanted more cocktails (we did) & it wasn’t because it was crowded. He was hiding behind the door and even when we waved him over he ignored us. The appetizer course and dessert were ok, the turkey entree was not good…the turkey was tough and the stuffing was good but it was a tiny portion. I would not have even left a review but the service was so bad I had to say something. The waiter is the one with the mask on the 2d floor.

    We booked on their pre-fixe meal for Thanksgiving. There was a 25 minute wait for our table but the furnishings were excellent. Our head waiter was very gracious but the service overall was slow. The enteees were room temp and not very impressive. Our waitress was aware and made some nice gestures to our party. We will come back on a non holiday. We have been to their sister location in Houston countless times and will give the original another shot.

    The atmosphere and music were amazing. The appetizer(ravioli) was phenomenal. The main course of turkey snd stuffing was mediocre at best. Bananas Foster was excellent as was the table side preparation. Wait staff was great. Not sure the food lived up to my expectations but the overall experience was really nice for Thanksgiving.

    The blackened Redfish was cold, a little slimey and had a flavor that was not “blackened “. Service was a little slow. The mushrooms tasted like the fish.

    Very bad bartenders, especially the male who has a very bad attitude. Neither of them was efficient in any way, causing the wait staff many problems. Bar area was in complete disarray. I’ve never seen this before. Have been a customer for many years.

    The atmosphere is incredible and historical. The staff was phenomenal and very accommodating as well as knew a ton about the preparation of the food and the building's history. The food was amazing! Recommend the Filet Mignon but the Turtle Soup was also a hit. Get the cotton candy dessert!

    Loved eating here. Service was excellent, food was delicious. I’m thankful that as soon as the servers learned my partner was celebrating his birthday, they decorated the table in a simple but beautiful manner and provided some extra gifts for him. Great place to have brunch, best place to celebrate a birthday.

    Amazing food. Seriously the best eggs Benedict!! I wish they would enforce a dress code policy. It is so much and then you see folks dressed like they are going to the gym or do yard work! This is a very nice place people, dress for it.

    Had high expectations but sadly not met. Fish was dry, pheasant was salty. Duck however was excellent The bananas foster was very good. Service was excellent. But given the price tag I don’t plan to return.

    We had a fantastic experience for brunch with our 3 year old. He loved seeing the turtles and the staff did a great job with him even when he was getting a little restless, complimenting his outfit and offering cotton candy with his dessert. The 3 course kids meal was great and allowed him to feel like he was having a fancy meal like the grownups but was affordable enough that we didn’t feel too bad when he didn’t eat all of it.
