After eating at the Poway location multiple times we found Escondido location to no be as consistent with its food as Poway is. Service was outstanding, but the interior is very dated and the noise level made it difficult to hear others in our party. We will go back to Poway location for better quality food and atmosphere

While the overall quality has been consistently good here over many years, our experience last night was notably elevated. Every element of the meals, service and patio ambience was excellent. All four employees we interacted with seemed especially sincere, warm and attentive. The food was very fresh and perfectly prepared. Our only request would be to upgrade the sourdough bread, though what we had wasn’t bad. Loved our time there!

Second time in two weeks we dined here and both food and service were excellent. I asked for a booth and we were promptly seated in one of their large booths even though were were only a party of 2. So happy we found a great seafood restaurant so close to our home.

Went here for the Taco Tuesday happy hour. Got several varieties of tacos and none of them were super tasty. Some of the ingredients either over powered the meat or just didn’t taste that great. The clam chowder was probably the best app ordered, calamari strips were ok. I’d suggest a different spot for fresh/yummy tacos.

This restaurant was so fun! Great for seafood lovers! The staff was very kind and friendly. The food and drinks were phenomenal. My favorite meal on my 5 day trip to San Diego! I got the crab stuffed shrimp wrapped in bacon with veggies, mashed potatoes, and jalapeño cream sauce. Their outdoor seating is breath taking with excellent design and plenty of shade. There is plenty of space in the indoor seating areas as well and very nice interior design. Coastal meets modern and has great service, menu, and plenty of parking. What more can you ask for?

My first time. Was delicious! My husband had eaten at the La Mesa location & was looking forward to the swordfish tacos; being Sunday, they aren’t on the brunch menu. Victoria offered to check with the chef, who graciously accommodated our request. We will be back!

We went on a Tuesday due to a birthday celebration. We got the mahi and swordfish - both dishes were made perfectly and served hot. The veggies were al dente, and the sauces and sides complemented the dish just right. We are very happy we gave this place a 3rd chance because it's less than a mile from our home.They acknowledged our birthday with a complimentary dessert. Best mud pie we've ever had!! Loved every part of our meal. Service was excellent and efficient. Thank you, Brigantine, for making my husband's 65th so memorable.

Brigantine seems to have lost some birthday notifications (we didn't get ours) But the server honored it anyway and we filled out new cards. The salmon and Brig salad were delicious. Unfortunately, it was taco Tuesday and very busy and noisy. Luckily, we had a reservation and were seated right away. In future, we will try not to come on a Tuesday.

Our food was very good. Our table enjoyed steaks, mahi, and scallops. All were well-prepared; steaks were cooked as ordered. Our food came rather quickly but the service overall was a bit slow. we were spending time talking so it was fine. A very nice place for a special dinner - family celebration or birthday.

I needed a quiet, cool restaurant to renew a friendship and I certainly found it in the Brigantine, Escondido. We sipped ice tea, talked, laughed, and enjoyed excellent food for almost 2 hours. No one interrupted us nor hurried us in any way. It was a truly delightful, quiet, beautiful space to chat and enjoy good food. Thanks, Escondido Brigantine!
