My son wanted to take us out to dinner, flew down to bring his father to North Carolina. He was impressed with the ambiance and he thought it was a neat place to eat bye us a carnivore so they had steaks for him to eat. I love their crab cakes

This is our go to restaurant for family occasions, lunch was usual excellent. Angel our server was knowledgeable and professional. The seabass was amazing, it was one of three specials.. completely delectable. 10 out 10 experience!

Wonderful service and meals. Shrimp and Crab salad, fish tacos and kids pasta all delicious. Consistency is the key here where food is always fresh and brought to the table in a timely manner. Dining at lunch is never rushed. This Brig is our favorite. Thank you for always greeting us with a smile, on time reservations and seated promptly.

We were seated near the back entrance to the kitchen, next to the door to the "inner" patio. It was very noisy at our table; guess we should have asked for a booth to cushion the sound.

Brigantine continues to excel in both food and service. Some may think it’s a little pricey but I like to treat my family once in awhile to a really exceptional experience, and this is where I go. We enjoy the choices on the menu; so far everything has been quite flavorful. The service staff is most accommodating. Deserts are always delightful. And I enjoyed my “Rusty Nail.”

We went to the La Mesa Brigantine for mother's day. My wife had the salmon and I had the halibut. They were done to perfection. It's always our go to place for special occasions. The food is great and the service is better.

Anthony was our waiter . His service was awesome along with the bus boys . It was one one of the best experiences I’ve had at that location . Staff was very attentive . It was outdoor setting . I would definitely recommend dining at this location .

Our waitress, Diane (Diana?) was outstanding in the dining area. The halibut was a touch dry as was the rice. The vegetables were delicious as was the shrimp and crab fondue. I think The Brig is overpriced by about 10-15% since the Covid recovery. (Their prices are up way more than 10-15% but some of the increase is understandable.). The best way to eat there is at the bar off the bar menu for some tasty items, better value and good barstaff.

I've eaten many meals at the Brig over the years and I have to say, this meal was the best one ever. I had the crab stuffed sea bass which was one of the specials and the fish was cooked perfectly. I'm not a fish lover so this is really impressive. I will order it again for my next birthday! Service was excellent. Wonderful experience. Bravo.

The food was mediocre at best. The oysters and drinks were good. Unfortunately the rest of food left much to be desired, especially for those prices! The lemon cheesecake was curdled. The risotto was mushy rice and not very flavorful. The ice cream mud cake could have been bought at the grocery store and tasted the same. While it was a nice place to eat outside, stick to drinks and appetizers.

Haven’t been to Brigantine in many months. The quality of the food was excellent. The atmosphere was also very nice. Service excellent. Prices are much higher than I remember - $130 for 2 people to have a nice dinner.

I requested a table away from other diners, because we were a book club. We were seated next to a long, huge table, of at least 20 people. It was very difficult to hear the person next to us , because of this loud, huge group!!
