Great spot for dinner and drinks. We had grilled octopus and coconut shrimp appetizers and they were delicious and more food than expected. The house salad was really good as well. We tried the Sangria and Rye Old Fashion and both were excellent.

We arrived on time for our reservation and our table wasn’t ready. They sat us at a small semi-circle booth by the kitchen entrance. There were other tables available so we asked to be seated at a window table. They gave us a table in the middle of the room. One person in our party ordered and stressed that she was allergic to mushrooms. There was a mushroom in the vegetables. She had an immediate reaction. They removed the charge for the meal and gave us a free dessert.

Worst service I’ve had in a long time. Waitress didn’t clear the starter plates when she brought the entrées, we had to stack plates ourselves to fit the food. A drink was spilled and 4 waitresses walked over the ice on the floor without cleaning it up. Food was just ok. Clams and the crab cake were good, coconut shrimp and the crab stuffed shrimp were over cooked

Food is absolutely amazing. Server was friendly but a bit busy with a party of 20 she was working. Ordered a lemon drop martini which was delicious, then a second one which tasted like someone else made it and it was not good. They put lavender or something in it and it tasted like perfume. The music being played was NOT the vibe, and was way too loud. It was like Greatest Pop Hits of Taylor Swift and More, turned up so loud we had to kind of yell to talk to each other. Not it.

I have been to Brigantine in Shelter Island several times and I love the location, the ambiance, the servers, and the food is fantastic. Never been there when the food hasn't been wonderful! Great place to dine!

My wife and I love the Brigantine - we know we can always count on consistently good food in a comfortable atmosphere with great service. Patty was our server and was very attentive without being intrusive. The Point Loma location is our 'go to' spot prior to going to at the nearby Humphrey's concert venue. We'll be back!

This was for a birthday dinner and Brigantine once again delivered reliably excellent food and service. Our waitress, Larissa, was knowledgeable, nice, engaging and professional. Brigantine will continue to be a special occasions restaurant for my wife and me. The Point Loma location on Shelter Island is our favorite Brigantine location because the traffic and parking are easy breezy and we just love Shelter Island. We also like Ketch and Miguels, which are also part of the Brigantine family. All of them are reliably excellent.

Visited with our 14 year old daughter. Great meal but I suggest they out a red sauce (marinara) on the menu for the pasta eating kids - only white or butter sauce are offered for kid's pasta). Otherwise, the grilled octopus was excellent and the halibut very good. We have been often and it is always quality.

Our server Paige did an excellent job. The whole staff was very pleasant. The pork chops weren't what I expected but that wasn't their fault. We were celebratong an anniversay and we enjoyed the evening and appreciated the mud pie. Please give Paige our thanks.

Outstanding dinner. We enjoyed every bite. In case you didn’t carefully read the info, this restaurant is not on the water and we did not get a peak at the yachts but we didn’t expect to going in. Lovely ambiance. Fantastic staff. We ordered: half dozen oysters (fresh, clean!); cup of clam chowder (oops, forgotten until after entree ER River but it was enjoyed nonetheless); the night’s special - crab topped halibut with mashed potatoes and asparagus and the famous swordfish. Every bite was delicious. Served with warm bread and a nice wine list and a delicious mai Tai. We will return next time we are in San Diego.
