   Cod sandwich was bland, came in a small portion and instantly made mee regret ordering it. Wish I just would've got a filet o fish at McDonald's. Cheese charcuterie board was lackluster. Not alot of cheese or bread. Fries were too well done. Drinks were good.

   I’ve been here 4 times before and liked it. Unfortunately last night just had the worst experience possible at a restaurant. We didn’t get our food for an hour and a half. Wine took 45 minutes to come and we had to go ask the bar for wine glasses. Appetizers finally came and we didn’t have plates or cutlery. Lobster risotto was undercooked (lobster over cooked), medium rare steak was very rare and chewy, short rib had absolutely no flavour at all. We cancelled the rest of the food once we had been there for 3 hours and it hadn’t all come out yet. The salmon was really good though! And the staff cut the bill down for us to compensate for the service/food.

   We went for a stampede lunch for work. We waited 50 minutes between appetizers and the main course, 2hrs total. When the main courses arrived we were famished and the food was cold not luke warm! Not sure why if there was a kitchen malfunction or server but that will be the last time I eat there.

   4th time here and have loved it but today. Today we realized that even if we reserve weeks in advance, we have always sat in the lounge as today was the first time we requested to be seated in the other area. Denied, the other times, the restaurant area was empty. We always order two appetizers and the Tomahawk. Our Tomahawk came before our appetizers. Weird eating salad when you are trying to enjoy the main course. Our "lounge" had no one but us though we only saw our waitress 4 times in 1.5hr we were there. Empty glasses and after waiting 15 minutes after our plates were taken we took the cheque instead of getting dessert. Ended up picking up dessert at a safeway on the way home.

    Newf’s poutine and grilled Oka were amazing! Brussels sprouts were shaved and lacked crispiness. Nobody really liked the apple cobbler. It wasn’t sweet enough and the spices lacked balance. Service and atmosphere were very good!

    Good came staggered and was not hot as expected. It was okay flavours. Server was adequate but not as attentive as desired. Not busy restaurant at time but maybe she did not have additional help.

    Our experience was a nightmare! I ordered a Martini and got it in a champagne/margarita glass!! The lobster risotto had tiny pieces of lobster and was salty! The Arctic char was dry and no flavour. The manager Tatiana advised us all their Martini glasses broke!! Unacceptable. I can't seem to load the photos! Our server was very good but the dining experience was awful!! They also ran out of potatoes that they serve with the Arctic char so we settled for broccolini. Definitely don't recommend it!

    I had my Christmas work dinner in this restaurant in Dec 2021, which was good. Therefore, I chose this place to have dinner with some friends. It wasn't delightful. The lobster risotto my friends and I ordered was cold, the caramelized onions were burned, and its taste was bland. The Hamburgers were ok, but the french fries were cold as well. The noise level was very high, and I had to ask to change the leather chair because it was ripped.

    I brought my staff here for dinner because I had heard good things, we were a group of 8. I ordered the tomahawk steak. So I let the server know ahead of time because I knew they take a bit longer sometimes. Well the steak ended up coming out first. Which wasn’t convenient because everyone else’s food came about 10-15 minutes later. Our sides still had not come out. We were about 3/4 done by the time our sides came out, and we didn’t enjoy them. My wife and I finished the tomahawk and were left still hungry, it was not ver big. And we’re not big eaters. Anyways, for the price ($150 with sides), we were not impressed.

    We're not picky eaters and even I lean towards saltier food. But the sirloin steak was so salty we couldn't eat it. We also had sautéed prawns along with it and the same thing, so much seasoning on them you couldn't taste the meat. We thought about sending it back but were too polite. It was really disappointing.

    From entering the restaurant to being seated and served, the employees were caring and helpful. Made us felt welcomed and appreciated. The server knew the menu well and recommended the food which indeed was to our expectations. The Item that I wanted was not available but nevertheless I was satisfied with the meal. The bun was fresh as promised. Would love another visit. Great food and exceptional service. Music was a bit too loud for my liking but I guess it didn’t seem to bother anyone else. Thank you.

    Wonderful food! AMAZING drinks. I can’t remember the name of the drink I had but it had gin, st Germaine, lemon, egg white & rosemary I think & it was so good I couldn’t stop at one, I had 3 or 4! Prices are a little high but worth it. It’s a great location too. We had dinner & drinks and then headed over to Greta for a couple games. The lobster risotto and wagyu beef sandwich were delish.

    It was unfortunate to get a table at the restaurant with a big rip at the booth. Why would you sit your guests when you totally empty at the ripped seat...? Why would the staff choose the worst table in the restaurant while they are empty?

    All of our plates had issues / cold food / hard meat / incorrect sauces etc ..Server had no idea what was on the menu, or how different options worked on the menu, changed an item on my plate without telling me, overall bad experience but the manager was lovely.

    Food and service was great, but the mains do take a long time to serve. And the decor is great, but it always seems to be super loud in the restaurant and you really have to talk loud to hear people even at your own table.

    We had the eggplant, Kuterra Salmon, Short Rib Flat bread and Beef Tendorloin and all were fantastic! Our server was very good and had pride in Briggs which made our decisions easy. Definitely recommend Briggs!

    I travel from BC to Calgary once every few months and this has become a regular stop for exceptional food and service. Whether I am dining with friends and family or with clients the meals are always perfectly prepared and could be described as a new take on upscale comfort food.
