    We often choose the Bristol for group birthday gatherings. We requested and were seated in one of the small rooms at the front of the restaurant, so it was fairly private and quiet enough to easily talk. Our server was attentive while ensuring we had plenty of time to chat and enjoy our cocktails. One thing I really appreciate is that the staff bringing out our dinner dishes knew which of us had ordered which meal. None of the “auction” method some restaurants use where they stand there with a dish and ask who had the salmon or whatever. It is always first class. And delicious.

    Lovely anniversary brunch with my parents. Excellent service, great champagne toast and Sunday specials. Terrific celebration, but miss the old Sunday brunch buffet.

    They have the New England Clam Chowder back which was a welcome surprise. The food was very good but not as good as it has been in the past. Our server, whom we have had a few times in the past (Eric) was amazing and very attentive. They’ve raised prices from what we both remember, significantly; but, who hasn’t?

    It was the wife and mine Anniversary and we had a wonderful time. The food was excellent and the wait staff was on point. If I had to give a negative it would be that the food took a little time. No fault of the waiter. We would go back again.

    Easy booking for reservation online and confirmation was done right away. Food was great, wine, and our server Todd was great. Lobster Cobb salad and Grilled Salmon Panzanella was delicious. Bristol never disappoint. Thank you Bristol for the great hospitality.

    We ate outside on the patio, which we always enjoy. It was a beautiful day. Todd, our waiter, was excellent. We had ceasar salad, surf and turf and salmon with birthday carrot cake. A great meal and a great day!

    I love Bristol! The food, service, and ambiance are great. I'm not a big fan of fish. And definitely not salmon, as is can be a fishy tasting fish. But in the seafood mixed grill plate, its amazing!

    We've always enjoyed our dinners with friends at The Bristol. Our most recent visit was a bit of a disappointment. Between the timing of our various courses and cocktails and the quality of the food, it just wasn't the quality of experience that we are used to receiving at The Bristol. There were at least two large parties, so perhaps that threw some things off. We really enjoyed our seafood platter, but the lobster bisque was only lukewarm and fairly bland, even with the addition of a lot of black pepper. And our salmon and scallop entrees were overcooked. Hoping this was just a one-off, and it won't keep us from returning.

    Celebrated my birthday by dining on the patio on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Kelly, our waitress, was especially friendly and helpful in choosing our meal. Food was excellent and the patio was a wonderful place to spend a couple of hours. Will definitely return.

    We loved our experience and had a grrreat Server… but today/next day we realized we weren’t given our credit card back so have had to cancel our credit card. Probably our fault… but it wasn’t found when we called. We had a great meal… great experience except for above.

    Our reservation confirmation included, "Dress Code: Business Casual." Bristol's staff has a very liberal definition of "Business Casual." I wore slacks, open-collared dress shirt, and a jacket-blazer. I was so overdressed it was embarrassing. Granted, the occasion was on the Saturday evening of a three-day Labor Day weekend, but still, either Bristol should enforce that dress code or remove it from their communications. Otherwise the evening was very pleasant and the service was outstanding.

    In the past the food was excellent. However tonight’s meal was a total waste of $140+. The rolls were “rocks” the Caesar salad had little or no dressing on it. The chefs special halibut had no flavor. I will say the Calamari was good The manager never came around to ask how the meal or anything was. It was a terrible 51st wedding anniversary dinner. A total flop. Taco Bell McDonalds or any other fast food place would have been better. Not sure what has happened there as we have eaten there many times an 4 other times this year. We are really wondering if we will want to go back after this experience.

    We have enjoyed Bristol's ambiance, quality of service (usually outstanding), and food selections. I am a fan of the "surf & turf" selection, but the price can be off-putting. Even so, there are a host of other equally enticing options on their menu. It seems always to be busy, but that is because it is so good! I am hearing impaired and there are areas where one can find "low ambient noise" as well as the general dining experience. We are not rich, so we cannot visit this place often. However, it is our "go to" place for fine dining!

    We had a fabulous anniversary celebration dinner at The Bristol. As always, the food preparation and flavors were delicious. Our waitress Jaden was attentive, friendly, and efficient. Our evening was topped of with a free piece of The Bristol's famous carrot cake. We had a lovely experience, and we will definitely return.
