   Food was excellent, all servers were so pleasant and welcoming. It is much too noisy for a fine dining experience, but we knew it was like that. We were celebrating our anniversary and the complementary dessert was a nice surprise. Thank you for a really nice evening.

    I have always loved Bristol so this rating is unexpected for myself. I loved the secluded room they reserved for my family as this was a special occasion and my father is hearing-impaired. However, the service and food lacked a bit. I’m not sure if the server was fairly new to the restaurant business or serving in general but we were nearly relegated to drinking only water had I not spoken up after finishing our appetizer and finally ordering our entrees (nearly a half hour after initially sitting down). Needless to say our entrees weren’t served for another 45 minutes. When they were, my food was lukewarm with a steak that was barely rare (nearly raw). I had ordered medium rare and for a 6 oz filet, I can’t imagine it stayed on the pan for too long. Luckily, rare used to be my go to cook. So I didn’t complain. Plus I didn’t want to send it back as we were running late at that point. The lobster in the lobster Mac and cheese had an odd taste, as though it might not be the freshest lobster. I can imagine that it’s not the absolute freshest lobster and I wouldn’t completely expect that knowing it’s simply a side menu item but I wouldn’t think they would use lobster that’s been sitting around either. So that was left uneaten. Now, for the positives… Our reserved table was ready for us right away and we were greeted by the server soon after. He was extremely warm and inviting. The room was nice and quiet and felt like our own little restaurant. I had a taste of my son’s roasted potatoes and they were absolutely mouthwatering. They didn’t appear to be roasted as they had a soft and pliable exterior but it didn’t matter. The insides just melted in your mouth and the flavor, so delicious! I will certainly go back as Bristol has a spot in my heart. I’m simply going to mark this one up as a blip caused in part to a downturned economy.

    My wife's scallops were outstanding. My salmon was overcooked and very dry. I would think that an upscale seafood restaurant would know how to cook a piece of salmon. Great touch with the free dessert for our anniversary, though.

    Andrew was our server & he was fantastic! Some of the best service we’ve ever received. Food was incredible from the Firecracker Cauliflower appetizer to our lunch entrees. Highly recommend the Lemongrass Shrimp Tacos & Lump Crab Melt.

    They overbooked for Mothers Day. We had to wait 30 minutes for our reserved table. The wrong appetizer was presented and wait time was excessive. Over 2:15 hours in the restaurant. I couldn't wait to leave. They made the special occasion painful.

    We had a reservation for 6:15 and arrived a little before. When I gave my name I was told they were very busy and are running late so we waited. After waiting 15 20 minutes, my husband checked and was told it would be close to an hour longer. My husband was unable to stand and wait that long. I spoke to the woman who again said it was busy and I told her yes it is Mother's day that is why I made a reservation but obviously reservations didn't matter so we left. Very disappointed as reservations not planned well

    Unfortunately it was an off night. We had reservations but had to wait 25 min. Service was super slow. Steaks were over done. Ran out of desserts but did allow us to substitute so that was nice. Just not the best I have had way better here on many occasions.

    Usually the Bristol is a solid 5 star experience. They over reached on Mother's Day. We were seated for our 5:30 reservation at about 6:25; at 7:30 we did not have food. When we ordered two of the prix fix Dessert options were gone. The extra crab cake ordered did not arrive with food and didn't arrive till we told the waitress to cancel as dinner was v over. Then she was able to get it in 1 minute flat. The coffee was undrinkable with ground s on the Cup bottom. And finally, one of our 3 person party had asked for a separate check. It was not given that way. When check was broken out, we were charged for 3 desserts on our check--separate from the prix fixe included. So again the waitress had to have it rerun. Fortunately we are 3 adults so the wait while unpleasant was tolerable. Has we had kids with us it would have been disastrous. We finally left about 8:30. I love the Bristol but never again on a holiday.

    Absolutely horrible experience. When called to make reservation was told had a maximum time of 1 1/2 hours to be at table and was told " You can not stay all day ". Had a 5pm reservation. After arriving waited 40 minutes to sit down. After ordering we waited 1 hour and 20 minutes to get food.

    This was my first time at this restaurant and it was for this past Mothers Day. To say they were busy would be a understatement. Our reservation was at 4:45pm and they were running at best 45 minutes behind. My husband noticed four open seats at the bar so we took them for a drink and eventually chose to have dinner there. After looking at the menu, we made it simple and went with the prefix menu which offered soup or salad, choice of main dish then a dessert. As we ordered (around 5:15pm) where we selected our choice/options of soup/ salads which came out pretty quickly and then we waited another hour before the main entrees finally came (we all ordered the 6oz filet with veggies and potatoes), my sides were both cold but the steak was hot. Luckily, the manager I believe was the one who brought it out and heard me say mine was cold and he immediately corrected it. Now it was time for dessert which we were anxiously awaiting for as one of the options was bread pudding which my husband likes. When we were ready to order, they were out of all the desert that was on the menu and offered up crème brûlée which none of us like, so we ended up not having dessert, very disappointing. To be out of menu items that early in the evening was a surprise. Although management was very apologetic, the overall restaurant experience was not great. However, we did enjoy the drinks as the bartenders made an effort to go out of their way knowing the experience we were having and we thank them for that. We will be going back on a non-holiday to see if we can get the bread pudding 😊🤞😊

    Had reservations at 3:30 on Mothers Day and were seated promptly at 3:30. Drinks, bread and salad arrived within 5 minutes and order taken within ten. Then, we waited for an hour and 15 minutes for our entree. We were told there were 115 orders ahead of ours. Apologies were given and assistant manager admitted they had seriously overbooked. Meal was finally served at 5:15 after we had been there an hour and forty-five minutes. Bristol has been in business long enough to far better know how to anticipate size of holiday crowds, especially with most people using a reservations system to book their meal. Yes, the food was pretty good and the meal was eventually comped, but still...

    We have dined at The Bristol many times dating back to its Plaza location. Today was extremely busy, and unfortunately our experience was disappointing. We arrived before our reservation time, and waited 20 minutes for a table. We waited for our dinner order for an hour and a half. Others eating at the bar and booths were served and left before we received our entrees. We were not offered dessert or coffee. We were being overlooked. My husband’s mussels were over cooked. We hope you will do better in the future.
