The dinner menu only had two fish entrees, both of the raw approach. And a wider range instead of meat entrees. This is a Beach House restaurant in Hawaii and should have multiple seafood choices….ones that are cooked. That has been our experience in past years at this restaurant. Also the very expensive filet steak was average in quality, at best. We then cancelled out of our second reservation on a second night and let our friends coming next month to do the same. Very disappointed.

Like prices everywhere, the prices here have dramatically increased since we were here in 2021. The food was ok but not as good as in the past. Our server was great but the kitchen was very slow. The biggest shock was the daily white cosmopolitan which increased from $17 to $26. And I didn’t even get a full glass. The setting is lovely but I don’t think we’ll be back.

We arrived at 5:15 for a 5:30 reservation. We were seated within a few minutes. The amazing views were only outmatched by the delicious food and fantastic service. Father and son duo played guitars and sang calming melodies…..absolutely beautiful evening!

Chloe was our server. She was extremely SLOW in response; we had 2 flag down the busboy 2 get her 2 come 2 our table as she was frequently conversing w/other patrons. She didn’t give us an itemized receipt so I asked 4 one. When she brought back an itemized receipt, she said “oh, I forgot 2 add the wine bottle.” No appreciation 4 her forgetfulness nor thanks 4 “helping” in “catching” her omitted expensive wine. THEN she charged my Visa 3 times which I noticed online the next day. Soooo I’ll be going back today, talking to the manager & letting him/her know, how poor the service was while other people seated after us, were well taken care of & we’re done in 2 hours. We were there over 3 hours. Not fun or memorable in any way I’d like 2 repeat. Will have 2 seriously consider if it was worth the drive or the $$$ 2 be looked down upon because of attire or whatever reason Chloe had with our table who were there 2 celebrate an anniversary.

Setting is one of our favorites for a sunset dinner. Menu unfortunately has not changed in so many years it makes me not want to go when visiting. Food is definitely it the reason we keep going back. It’s a solid good but fortunately for them the staff is wonderful so service is fantastic! And the setting is just beautiful. No live music which was disappointing also. Server said the rain fr earlier scared the musician away:(.

Food, service, ambiance was great. The very ugly and scary event that occurred was three people at the next table brought two dogs with them to the restaurant. One of the dogs bit the server's helper. The dogs should not have been allowed into the restaurant.

We wanted to go someplace special for our 50th anniversary. We were definitely impressed, the beach front scenery, the ambience with live music, everything was just outstanding including the food and service. A family vacation with our son and our new daughter in law. We ate many good meals on the Island but this was by far the best. The freshest ingredients, innovative sauces and excellent dessert coupled with non-intrusive but always present polite and efficient service. Must for any special occasion.

We “celebrated” the last day of our vacation with a great meal at Brown’s beach house. The oceanside ambiance is hard to beat. The food and service was excellent.

Browns is overrated. Our servers were really good and attentive. The food was not that great. We both had mahi-mahi for the main course. The smallish pieces were overcooked and lacked flavor. My wife had mahi-mahi at another restaurant the next night that was great. It’s in a nice location with a nice string, and the tables are spread out, so you’re not bothered. Definitely, didn’t get the value for my money.
