Had another fantastic evening at Byblos, before going to the symphony. Amazing food, service, and cocktails.

Everything was VERY good. The only drawback to the whole experience was we were close to the entrance, it was a cold blustery day, and so it got really chilly every time the door was open and closed. So if it’s cold out I would suggest getting a table farther away from the entrance.

This is my second visit to Byblos - somehow, despite good service, the food didn't quite hit the mark. During my first visit I considered the food exquisite. This time, very average. Disappointing.

This is a really, really good restaurant. The food and service were near top notch. The only gripe is the value: the prices say "Fantastic! Outstanding! Classic! Remarkable;" it was very, very good but misses that unbelievable gourmet standard that seems implied. The owner will charge what the market will bear; fair ball. The place has its clientele; it's near all the theatres, etc, etc. Go, if you like. The meal won't disappoint--except a little bit when you pay.

The woman who served us was incredible...so friendly, attentive and helpful with the menu! She really added to our all around positive experience.
The food and wine was also superb and we will definitely return and recommend Byblos to our friends!
Thank you!!!

One of our top foodie spots we have in our bag! Great food and service! Highly recommend the lamb ribs and grilled octopus and the loukamades dessert(doughnut balls with honey burnt ice cream)! Can’t wait to have round 2!

Never disappointed. This is our go-to, hands down favourite restaurant. Lamb shoulder is is still our favourite menu item. But the Persian Kale Crispy lentil rice is also wow!

Enjoyed the food itself. It was a nice fusion twist on Middle Eastern food. Very nice tapas style menu. Unfortunately the service from start to finish was well below average. A bit cold and not very personable. Hospitality certainly doesn't match price. Unfortunately I would not recommend this restaurant. There are many more options in Toronto to choose from.

This was my third time at Byblos and have not been disappointed. What a wonderful spot. It was the first time my children came along (18 years and 20 years) and they were blown away. They totally loved the food and 3 days later are still talking about it. We asked the waiter for a shared dessert recommendation and it was fabulous (please don't ask me the name of it, I do not recall). It's a shared plate/tapas style and every single dish was enjoyed to the last bit.

Overrated garbage that tastes unbalanced and odd. Extremely small portions for the price and what it is. Rude staff.

Byblos Toronto is the best restaurant I’ve been to in the past five years. I’ve been four times in my last two trips to Canada, and I’m consistently blown away by the service, ambiance, attention to detail, and of course, the quality and overall taste of the food. Highly recommended!

Unusual twist of Spanish - Mediterranean - Middle Eastern food. Very tasty, service was great, ambience very nice. The reason for 4 stars is the price which I think it could be 15-20% lower for full 5 stars, but totally recommended!

We went on Nye and has the Prix fixed menu. It came with champagne, we don't drink but server was nice enough to give us two handcrafted mocktails which were DELICIOUS. All of the courses were delicious. It would have been great however if our preference for the steak was asked but they did re-do the wagyu to our doneness! Our server was also kind enough to provide the Panna Cotta. We loved our dining experience.

Seems Byblos has gone down in the last few years. Service and ambience we're great but some food was underseasoned. We sent a dish back as the fish tasted like freezer burn. I was disappointed. It wasnt the food I remember

Great fusion of Mediterranean flavours with westernized food. Portions are small, so you need to order at least five dishes for four people. Pavlova was light, fresh and delicious! Fried chicken was juicy and tender. Black truffle pide was an elevated pizza like dish that had halloumi cheese. A wonderful mix of umami flavours. In house made bread was freshly made and soft. Mussels were flavourful.

Third visit to Byblos, a favourite of myself and friends. Plates were just a little off - several were lukewarm instead of piping hot. Pide was very dry. Manti dumplings were hot and savoury as always. Branzino and octopus were great. Overall not as stellar as previous visits but will remain a favourite for special occasions given great service and ambience.

Food was good every dish was very flavourful, I would come back to try more dishes. I came to Byblos to celebrate my birthday with my partner and I wrote it in the comments section while making the reservation. They didn’t bring out a plate with a candle that said Happy Birthday for the dessert. I didn’t bother to let the server know but if you are going to celebrate your birthday you will have to remind the server. All in all, good food and good ambiance.

The homemade labneh is a MUST for any meal...so delicious that I am still thinking about it days later! The fatoush salad was another highlight. All of the food was incredibly flavourful. Between two of us we shared 5 items and had some ice cream for dessert and that was plenty of food.

Waitress was rude and food had a weird after taste. Chicken entree ordered was chewy and had weird fat on it. Would not recommend this place , over priced, tiny supposently shareable plates with terrible flavour and terribly over priced . Left hungry .

The food and service were beyond excellent. It’s fairly expensive ($16 for an old fashioned or a Lug Tread) but the experience we had with our service and the overall quality of the food made it worth it. The best thing we had was the lamb shoulder for 2.
