The food is very original and authentic, the sharing menu allows you to try a variety of things. Leave the restaurant full and content. The atmosphere and the design of the space, dim lighting round booths allow it to be very cozy and great for coming in groups to celebrate, have discussions.

My dinner experience here is possibly one of the most favorite meals I've every had! We had the stuffed squash blossoms, braised lamb, and beets with yogurt. Everything was outstanding the the delicate way they integrate the spices is really amazing. SUCH a gem! I can't wait to go back!

Perfect for a group outing as the menu is perfect for sharing a wide range of small plates - all of which were incredible.

As an individual who’s both middle eastern and has Mediterranean roots I was very impressed.

This was my third time at Byblos and frankly is my best restaurant in the city right now. The mixture of flavors and thought behind every dish from starter to dessert is truly admirable.

This time around I gathered friends and naturally we started with their artichoke labbneh and it was as expected on point with excellent citrus and honey flavouirng. The turkey dumplings are a natural choice as well, and definitely to die for.

It’s best if you treat the menu as a sharing menu and order 4-6 mains pending on how hungry you are and how many people are in the group. My all time favorites are the fried chicken, their lamb shoulder and beef kebabs, with 1-2 truffle rice.

I could keep writing about my experience, but the only way to truly experience it is to actually go and try the explosion of flavors!

Thanks again Byblos, until next time!

We had to wait 30 minutes for our table even though we had a reservation. Once seated everything was great. Food was delicious and lots of options for everyone.

Hadn't been to Byblos in a while and was reminded what a good restaurant this is. Excellent service, cocktails, presentation, and food. Everything we tasted was bright and exotic without trying too hard. We normally wouldn't rush to this area to eat, but we had TSO tickets and it's a stone's throw from Roy Thomson Hall. In my view, Byblos is the best restaurant in the theater district. Hell, for a high-quality, unpretentious dining experience, it just might be one of the best restaurants in TO.

Portions minimaliste . Service dilettante poussant à la consommation . Désorganisation et mauvaise gestion, porte ferme et bloquée à l’heure de la réservation, dangereux accès secondaire couvert de glace!

The food was delicious and so were the drinks. It is a very small, nicely decorated restaurant. Obviously it is a bit pricey but it is worth it. The service was great and the food too. I will definitely be going back!

We will absolutely return to Byblos and would recommend it to anyone. The service was outstanding. The food is made for sharing so it is an excellent place to come for a date or with a group of friends. We loved the lamb shoulder and crispy couscous. We shared the pavlova for dessert and it was incredible. I cannot wait to come back.

the food and atmosphere at this restaurant are very good. My reservation grew from 6-9 ppl. so had to be pushed 1hour later to accommodate and they insisted on an expensive per person, set menu. When we arrived they would not let us into the bar for a pre-drink claiming it was too busy. Considering we were spending a large amount of money for the evening, expecting us to wait outside for 45 minutes in the cold was unbelievable and put me in an awkward position considering I was hosting clients. No mention of any alternatives options for us. Terrible customer service.
Our server was great but the long set menu took too long, we received dessert when the restaurant was almost closing and our wine after the first course. Wouldn't return.

This was the best meal I've had in a long time. I cannot wait to come back. The food was delicious--both authentic tasting and completely new and different. The staff were lovely and basically came to the table the perfect amount of times. I can't wait to have tried each of the rice dishes! Life goals!

Food was amazing. Nothing but good things to say about our meal itself. Seating and tables were a bit awkward as the chairs were small and tables low. Given the dishes are meant to be shared I found the tables too small and were crowded with plates and glasses very quickly. Servers were very nice and accommodated moving us to a more comfortable table but were a bit hard to hear. I wouldn't go back with a group bigger than 2-4 people due to the tables and noise level. But I would go back as a couple.

Service was decent, but there were some mis-steps that weren't very disruptive, but still stand out from the evening. The food is very good; however, I'm not convinced that the "value" is on point. Dinner for four (with tip) was over $500, two cocktails and lots of food. It was a special occasion, and the server/management didn't offer a comp'd dessert or anything. Poor form -- as a former industry employee and former restauranteur.

Exceptional experience overall. Food was FANTASTIC and the staff met all of my special requests, which was important for me considering that this outing was for a special occasion. The music, setting, and overall vibe of the place was also exceptional. The ONLY minor critique that I have is that the Crispy Confit Duck could have included a little more duck meat for the price. However, I would still recommend ordering this dish as it was bursting with flavour.
